"I hate games adding replay value, It should have been a 'one playthrough and never touch it again sort of game" I don't understand certain complaints lmao
I really loved the combat and how enemies attacked. Spoiler alert below btw. But I have played and love resident evil, I subconsciously played James like Leon Kennedy. And each time I do I get swiftly reminded that James is just a man, a regular human. I can’t move from enemy to enemy, James gets slower and it feels like he’s scared when he takes on more enemies. The game does (at least on hard mode) do a perfect job at balancing of feeling like a badass and then a scared man. In one earlier scene, when you find Maria and go to the hospital, a wind gust happens and enemies appear everywhere. Before that, I did a really good job of saving up ammo and medical supplies. I thought I had to fight everything and everyone but I wasted ammo and was punished for blindly rushing in. I really love how after Maria dies, enemies still appear. Like life still happens and goes on. But when we find out how Mary died, there’s no enemies for a good 30 minutes. Leaving me scared for when the next enemy happens but feeling the death of Mary, it seemed like time had stopped. Like nothing ever mattered after that, the game did a good job of portraying the sorrow and sadness. I genuinely hated James after finding out what he did, and I didn’t wanna play anymore because there was no point. James murdered his wife, what point is there to go on anymore? This was a very good introduction to the silent hill games, I’ve never played the first game and I never got spoiled or anything. The game is a 10/10 for me.
the only thing that send chills on my spine is knowing that in the beginning of the game where ur arrived on ur car, in the back seat was Maria dead body all along, that really fked in my head after watching a youtuber said that in the ending of the game (i know its not physically there but more of a metaphor, totally not me asking chatgpt about this)
I came here from your L4D videos and I hope you'll keep making content about various horror games like Alien Isolation, Alan Wake 1/2, and Lethal Company. Nice work!
I plan on balancing other video games with my left 4 dead content in the future, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Expect a video on Alien Isolation 2 when that comes out (In like 7 years)
Some scenes in the video have noticeably lower quality and I apologize for that. Thought It was an export issue but clearly something went wrong during the recording. Hopefully won't become that much of a bother. Now for the big question? Do they remake Silent Hill 3 or 4 next?
I have a question, were probably not gonna have a remake of Silent Hill 1 because Shattered Memories (which is a reimagined of SH1) kinda exist, right?
I heard a hard-core silent hill fan (Pat from Castle super beast) says that a remake of silent hill 1 is not likely because the remake of SH2 does a lot of things that SH1 does. If I had to guess, they would likely remake silent hill 3 or 4 before they try to remake 1
I wish conz and I were in silent hill so we can spend time together like James and Maria did
How Romantic.
"The remake is bad because it added New Game+ and ruined the intent of the original game by adding replay value." Yes, someone actually said this.

Oh yeah I forgot, the Water and Stillness endings show this as well
