no for REAL. I remember back in the Moses/Aaron times, in order to clean themselves from sin, people would take an animal and kill it and sacrafice it to God. in order to be clean from sin, they would have to make a blood sacrafice to God. they would have to use a goat or a lamb or a cow.. but the animal itself had to be spotless. without blemish. thats Jesus. He cleans us from our sin. His blood was spilled for us to be clean.. and He was spotless. sinless. no blemish. He rose though. with all power in His hands. The Lamb Of God is indubitably The King Of Kings.
Many people fail to realize that any sin, however big or small, severs us from God. When we compare our shortcomings to God, who is truly pure and holy, we all fall short and require mercy to be spared. The first student doesn’t realize that we are infinitely closer morally to the worst human to ever live than we are to being pure and holy. Looking at someone worse than you and saying “at least I didn’t do that”, will not cut it on judgement day. Lord, have mercy on us all ❤️✝️
Yes exactly as Romans 3 says not one of us are good not a single one and Ephesians 2 says God save you by his grace when you believed and you cant take credit for this it is a gift from God salvation is not a reward for the good we done so none of us can boasts
@@my-yt-inputs2580God is a pure and holy being he is just. Sin and evil is outside of his nature it's why wen we sin we are apart from him cuz he cannot accept the wickedness tht we have in us. As the Bible says light and darkness cannot occupy the same space or for example water and fire cannot coexist in the same place one is going to overtake the other hence why God cannot accept our US in our sin. but because God loves us so much he he came down and gave himself as a living sacrifice so tht we can come into right standing with him through the blood of Yeshua it was never meant for us to be apart from him never meant for us to live in a fallen wicked world. Read through the Bible and have a elder/pastor guide u and u will see God's will and plan made clear
@@curtcoleman Nah. You probably watched it privately. Watch it again but focus on the small part of the crowd that's actually paying attention - they're all moved deeply, & some had to try real hard not to show it in that public place.
It hasn't clicked for Stuart yet but it will. The key to the discussion with the first young man was addressing his own self-righteousness. We all have to admit we are guilty of at least wanting to do wrong things.
The young Hindu man doesn't realize that he too has done a lot of evil. That's why he doesn't understand grace: he doesn't think HE needs it. If he were to honestly evaluate his life, he would find the many times he fell short of perfection, which is what a holy God demands: no sin, period. One of his big sins is pride: he believes himself to be morally superior to others whom he looks down on as worse than him. We have all sinned and fallen short of God's perfection. That's why we need grace. That is why we need Christ. Question for anyone who believes in Karma: if a person murders someone (i.e. unlawfully kills an innocent person on purpose with malice) but that same person also saves the life of someone stuck hiking up the side of a mountain who was trapped in a snowstorm.... what does that person's scale of karma look like? Do they go "up" or "down"?
This is such a good one! I just became Christian less than a year ago, and I was struggling with the idea of murder being forgiven by grace. But I get it now. No one is better then anyone. That young guy is struggling with that idea, and I get it. But when you truly accept Jesus its like, well it aint up to me anyway. Im no one to judge another human in the afterlife. It's up to God. That his job not mine. Things become much easier.
He still follows eye for an eye, doesn't understand mercy or grace, which is true love. Would hate to live in a merciless society where people want to punish each other for every little mistake.
That is true. His world view does not allow him to understand that justice alone is not the best but with mercy and compassion, still with justice. He does not believe in forgiveness, mercy or grace.
The hindu man raised some very valid and important questions and I believe he really is wrestling with God hoping to attain understanding as we all are. The importance of Jesus Christ death on the cross and the reason he can cover all multitudes of sin is because Jesus Christ was perfect and blameless the spotless lamb and gave himself to man to be killed and sacrificed. This is what gives Jesus power and authority of death and all sins of this world so much so that if we turn to him he promises to forgive us of our sins. The man could not comprehend such a love which is understandable because we are only human we do not love the same our love is only temporary our love is selfish our love is hypocritical but through the power of Jesus Christ we are blessed enough to experience his everlasting love. He is the same yesterday today and forever and no matter how far we’ve strayed Jesus will always be waiting with his arms open wide to us. This gives humanity hope in the midst of an evil world and our incredible weight of sin. We NEED a savior we can’t do it on our acts alone and Jesus Christ is the only one who can save us.
I struggle with the same question the Hindu man raised everyday. I live in perpetual sexual sin it is something I struggle with deeply and i understand the evil of perpetual sin and often times I feel unworthy of forgiveness when I fall back into this sin. I feel as though I must be punished and there have been times where God has punished me but God is so good he still woke me up this morning and allowed me to type this paragraph on TH-cam and live this beautiful life he created for me. This must mean he still desires me which is hard for me to understand. How could he desire someone as filthy as me I’m not worthy. I understand the hindu man’s problem with Christianity however this dilemma is the exact reason Jesus died on the cross. Jesus limited his power and became human meaning he feared for his life before he died, he asked God for another way and Jesus could’ve easily apprehended his captors brought hell to earth and took his disciples to heaven, but then I would’ve never been born. Jesus thought of me and my child and all of us who are living today and he carried out his sacrifice so that we all may be with him in heaven because this is what he wanted. He desires us so much so that he gave up his life and was tortured so that we may live. Thank you Jesus!
one thing I can take away from Islam and Hindus when they are not willing to give off their religion is not because of intellectual or moral dilemma but rather pride, they have pride in their religion more so if they're born Indian or Arab.
It is so rare, so precious when a sinner comes to Christ. For a murderer to repent and be transformed into a follower of Christ is a miracle. So many murderers revel in their deeds and display of power over others through out their lives until they leave this world.
it just all depends on the heart of the person if they want to be humble and turn Christ as thier savoir or not sometimes the Lord will make away in that murder's life the same way he did for Paul in the book of Acts God clearly sees something in us all that we dont see
God bless you both with great abundance for your fruitful work!! Subjecting yourselves to mockery and ridicule for those you love. It is truly touching and inspiring
We were all born sinners, and it builds daily until we realize this. And knowing WE, ourselves, even through being "good" cannot change that, we need a Savior to save us from our sin, we need the forgiveness from our sinnless Lord. That forgiveness, that cleansing of our sinning soul can only occur through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. And only through Him are we saved, and only by Him will we be redeemed. As nobody reaches the Father except through Him.
@@lordgorshack3970 But as many lessons teach, that building of morality and righteousness through Christ Jesus, we are to correct in righteous judgment and action by planting that seed for growth in God, through God and for the glory of God, all who live among us. The Lord loves each and every of His creations, but sin will not be accepted into the Kingdom unless repentance and true belief are accomplished in the hearts and minds. We are to spread to many nations the Word of the Holy Lord! Amen!🙌
I love going to the most quiet silent place i can literally hear or feel the holy spirit but you have to be willing to to have the faith and trust some trust money some Jesus its 🎉beautiful ❤🎉NC
To anyone dealing with depression or feeling low, don’t give up on life, no matter what bad things happened in your past, don’t let them define you or control your destiny, you are all important and loved!, there is hope for all of us! Jesus loves you all ✝️, get to know God through Christ 📖
That story at the end was really awesome to hear!! That guy in the Black sweater just couldn't wrap his mind around how forgiveness for sins work in Christianity 😅 poor guy I don't know how much easier Cliff could have made it for him to understand lol😂
Grace, Justice, and Mercy. The best way I've heard it explained is that we're all in a restaurant of life. As we dine with sin, our bill goes up and up, and the bill comes at the end. No matter how high our bill is, we're unable to pay, leaving a debt that must be paid to satisfy justice. Christ steps in, and being perfect, having never sinned, is the only one capable of paying our debt in its entirety, and by so doing, satisfies justice. He then invites us to accept his gift of paying the debt, the grace. Which we accept by becoming disciples of Him. However, we're imperfect and continue to dine at the restaurant on occasion, and his mercy continues to extend to us, so long as we trust in Him and continue on the path of discipleship, becoming like Him.
Cliffe, I love all of your content. You (both) always make me think, and I always learn something. I love the analogy at the end about the boy and the puppy. What we all deserve is death and separation from God, and we are all loved more than we can fathom. I love this. Thank you.
To better understand what Cliffe and Sturt were trying to explain to the Hindu guy, these two explanations might help: "The Death of Jesus and Its Atonement (The Mass Readings Explained Intro)" and "What Calvinists Get WRONG About Atonement w/ Dr. Scott Hahn"
I have been forgiven by God, I have made mistakes that I’m still paying for right now, but I’m forgiven. In this world we will suffer for God. So in a way, yeah we are paying for our wrong doing.. maybe…does this make sense?
Yea not that I like ppl suffering I no we all sin like for example my dad died in covid with no visits brain damaged and my sister has cancer all over her body I duno sometimes I get it sometimes I don’t cus my family wasn’t evil (no one’s perfect) but I duno I kinda understand ur point sorry to ramble
8:50 The guy says everything right. Justice must prevail. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth... Broke the law - you will be condemned. But he did not understand one thing... God did not cancel the punishment, He Himself paid your debt to the law. You should have been punished, but He Himself bore the punishment... You should have received a bullet, but He covered you with His body... Now imagine that you were covered by the One whom you did not even know, or rejected... We are at enmity with God (Romans 8:7, John 15:18), but He still did not reject us (Matthew 5:44, John 15:13). This is how a loving is God...
I never used to be a believer until I had an experience one night a couple months ago that left me with no doubt there's much much more to all this. It took me to my knees sobbing accepting Christ. I used to roll my eyes at all this stuff, but we know so very little about anything. We don't even know what reality is. There is def something withing the realm of physics with the death of Christ that we just don't understand yet where our free will and acceptance flips a switch or something within our consciousness or soul. Our laws of physics are different than the laws of the quantum realm. Why would it be any different for a being standing outside of space time? People are so ready to believe we were created by Aliens but don't stop and ask Who created the Aliens? We are so short sited and the only limits are ones we put there ourselves. It's impossible because WE said so. If you were to create a system or a world using some sort of code and needed to make some changes you would inject something the system recognizes speaking a language the system understands. Like Jesus sent as a man speaking the truth in human language. I'm a new believer, but that experience that night and the realizations that this is much more likely than I even thought, changed my life that night and I've been obsessed with Jesus ever since. Seeing the blind resistance from the other side seems so very intentional. There are things at play that we can only begin to try to grasp. I blessed to be a part of it with the rest of you.
to directly answer the main hindu student's question of "who gets punished", the simplest answer is Christ gets punished, Christ gets sent to hell, and the more you meditate on that, the more you appreciate his death and resurrection, because even that student knows that everyone deserves punishment and has sin.
18:00 the guy clearly was either spoiled and rich or lost his memories of HOW MUCH A PARENT unconditionally loves and forgives their child! He does truly not understand the concept of basic forgiveness ...else he would not debate this. Poor soul :(
What a blessing thanks! God gave these songs: With Christ in Paradise, Carried by the angels, Lo! I am with you always 💯 th Chris Phally videol on TH-cam. Sing a new song, ... Psalm 47:5-6 singing to Jesus drives away the bad spirits.
What I don't think most people understand is we're judging others based off our fallen morality. We know a serial killer is bad because when compared to us he is pure evil. Now imagine an all holy sinless God judging you off his morality which is perfect. We are a lot closer to the serial killer than God when it comes to our morality so God is not unfair when he judges us. He is all that is good and we are fallen rotten sinners. None of us our good enough to make it to heaven when compared to Gods sinless nature that is why we need Jesus Christ and should be thanking him everyday!
At about 8 minutes in when the Hindu guy asked about why are we not given punishment for our sins. I would have answered that it’s because Jesus Christ has already paid the price for that sin by dying. For example if you get pulled over for blowing a red light and the police officer tells you you have a ticket to pay for, you are responsible for paying 100% of that ticket. But if someone pays the price of that ticket at 100% for you, then you have no price to pay. That’s the grace of God
Top Bible Verses about Forgiveness Ephesians 4:32 - Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. Mark 11:25 - And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” 1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Matthew 18:21-22 - Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times. Matthew 6:14-15 - For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Luke 6:37 - “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; Colossians 3:13 - Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. Matthew 6:12 - And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
*Sometimes when we commit a sin, God will punish us in some way some time in our life. It’s like being in a fit of uncontrollable rage then after you realize what you did was wrong and regret it the rest of your life. Thats only one scenario to give an idea.*
Thank you to the gentleman that currently believes in Hinduism for striving to vibe with Stuart then eventually able to somewhat vibe with Cliffe. Stuart really needs to slow down and be less aggressive, and feed off the positive energy the gentleman that currently believes in Hinduism was exuding. The gentleman didn't have that "Aha moment", but was listening, trying to follow, and appeared to be getting close. Hoping Cliffe uses this video to help Stuart grow. Religions/atheism/agnosticism/etc are human made, have a ton of variations (denominations, sects, etc) and logically lead to confusion/division more than clarity/unity (that only the God made / human discovered Christianity does) as was obvious in this video. God is love thus God loves, hence why He created, desires all beings (human and angelic) have a genuine growing relationship with Him, the covenants, etc. The Garden of Eden was where beings had a direct bi-directional language communication with each other (including God and a direct spiritual connection with Him) on Earth. Adam and Eve broke God's trust, unlocking the "missing the mark" (aka sinful) nature into human hearts, thus breaking the ability for humans to use free will to initiate the establishment a spiritual connection with God. Years later, humans could cleanse their hearts (e.g. atone) of sin through animal sacrifice. Of course, humans would sin again, so another animal sacrifice again and again. Many years later, Jesus blazed a new path for humans, led by example and established the new covenant with God (born human, baptized, taught/prayed/read hearts/knew thoughts/healed/loved/etc, death of his physical body was final sacrifice for all human sin, resurrected into transformed body on Earth, then later ascended back to current 3rd heaven right next to God the Father as the head of the new spiritual body/family of Christians) enabling the ability for humans to establish a spiritual connection with God again...that started with the eleven apostles. If the gentleman that currently believes in Hinduism is reading this...here's an analogy with human made belief systems and the Way of Life that is Christianity using a lawn. Human made belief systems: complain, pull weeds, obtain and sow specific grass seeds for human desired type of grass, water, etc. Rinse repeat every year in worldly, "what human wants" inferior cycle. Christianity: see the beautiful collective opportunity, leave weeds, obtain and sow whatever type of grass should be sown, etc. Eventually will have a lush lawn where weeds have no room to grow. This is the superior one-way upward/outward "what is" journey for/with God. With Christianity, creating/updating worldly laws (for killing, etc) are ultimately a waste of time. Simply start and grow a genuine relationship with God together, and over time, more humans naturally live an evolving life truly caring and looking out for one another, with love, peace, fun, sound logic, joy and so on...and then eventually an eternal life with God and others that truly love God and others.
Stuart, I love you, man. You have a lot of insight. But sometimes it's just too much, points to take in all at once. I have a hard time following you at times because of that.
I think he's playing the same "game" that SOME of the people play when they ask him a question. They would have a main question/point to make but then riddle it with tiny subpoints here and there to try and solidify their stance. So when he goes off on a seemingly unrelated topic, its to tackle the other subpoints while also tying it back to the main point.
@@JoashSamuel-rq2jn Stuart isn’t playing a game, he’s doing what Christ said to do which is tell others the reason for your joy. People with bias and presuppositions about God not based on what is written in the Scriptures are often up set by his answers but you don’t have to take Stuart’s word for it, you can read it yourself. Then you can waste your time arguing with God, not Stuart or anyone else. We are all under the grace and righteousness of God whether we accept it or not. We are under God’s authority whether we accept it or not.
The self righteousness that breeds from the mindset of the person who insists on still giving due punishment to the person who wronged in some way is not something many would recognize as dangerous. It would be safe to assume that the person probably also doesn't believe in mercy. I would venture to ask them to re-examine the purpose of punishment. What was it created for? If you're punishing for punishment's sake, that's not the way to go.
The hardest thing to know is someone’s heart. We can’t see where anyone is going even when it’s right before they die and speak out loud about believing in Jesus Christ. Only God knows their heart, he knows if they are saying it out of fear or desperation…
Matt Hasslebeck lost his only Super Bowl (XL) but the game was known for it’s poor officiating. Your point remains the same I just wanted to clarify as a follower of Christ who happens to be a sports nerd. 😂
To the young Hindu man, God requires perfect righteousness which we CANNOT attain to, ANY condition that must be met for Salvation, except Faith in what Jesus did for us, is ERROR (Romans 3:28). This is what Paul called “another gospel” or, more accurately, a perversion of the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-7). The ONLY way anyone can attain perfect righteousness is through Jesus Christ. He lived the PERFECT, SINLESS life that NO human could EVER live, and when we believe the Gospel we receive the ➡️Righteousness of God in Christ by Grace through faith ALONE⬅️ in the Death, Burial and Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ FOR OUR SINS and Justification. - 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 When we trust Him as Lord and Saviour, His “perfect righteousness” (and sinlessness) is “imputed” to us (2 Cor 5:19,21) - (Rom 4:7-8, 24-25) - (Phil 3:9).
Some seem to forget also that we will still be judged by our works as a believer whether our works served the kingdom or not. It will be tried by fire and some believers will enter the kingdom all Smokey.
@@Christ60 I have never heard enter as if by fire described as entering "all smokey" before, made me chuckle. May God bless our works so that they don't end up destroyed.
Here's what he's still seeing. He's still seeing that things are just forgiven and that there is no change in the heart of the wrongdoer. The point is that the person who is forgiven has a change in heart when they fully realize what God has done for him or her. They start to move more towards God and therefore will live when they accept Jesus Christ. He's blinded by the need for punishment that perhaps it's best to ask him, "What is the purpose for which punishment was created for in the first place?" Seriously. What is it created for?
On the PBD podcast at the very end, they introduced Billy Carson and his type of foreign information that’s very intriguing to young minds, I wish there was a way for you to sit down and discuss that I’m very confused (I saw him on Joe Rogan and it left me pondering into madness )
The reason why Christ’s sacrifice means something is because he lived a sinless life that we could never life no matter how holy we are. And humbled himself to feel our pain. And when persecuted blessed his enemies when persecuted instead of falling to human responses such as cursing his enemies he loved his enemies till the end. What god does that only Jesus who paid the debt as the sinless lamb in blood
The difference and part of the issue which many people don’t explain the right way is free grace is different then free salvation. Salvation is free by belief in Christ, but in order to keep our eternal life we need to do the things the Bible instructs us to do, and to do Gods will.
Slightly incorrect. Their is no “ keeping our eternal life” by doing what the Bible instructs because you would be working to keep that salvation. It’s not ours to keep. There is absolutely nothing we can do to keep it. It’s for God to give and take away. If you do good works and follow the scriptures it’s because God is moving you and you are doing it because you genuinely want to please God. You do it because you love Him and love others, not because you want to keep your salvation. There’s a major difference there. Because when push comes to shove and you quickly run away or deny Jesus or be ashamed of Him you’ll quickly realize if you were truly saved or not. Look at Peter, He thought he was locked with Jesus, and he quickly rejected Him when the real test of his loyalty came to question. Afterwards he didn’t hesitate to give up his life for Christ.
It's wonderful to see your willingness to spread the word. God bless you Cliffe and Stuart, excellent work. I'm sorry if you still get indirect and confusing comments, I thought it was over. Anyway, I hope it doesn't bother you, let's be patient and hope that people overcome their frustrations through forgiveness and grace of our beloved Lord Jesus 🙏
I think for once Cliffe didn't explain some biblical fundamentals that weren't clear to the Hindu student. The reason why Jesus' death on the cross absorbs sin is because it forgives Sin by the very rules he sets up in the world. Sin equals death to God therefore, a sacrifice must be made to absolve it's penalty. Life for a Life It started with lambs and goats in the old testament, but Jesus is unique in one: that he's sinless, and two: that he is God. So when he sacrifices, according to the rules of sin he sets up in the old testament, be he also reveals a new rule, that belief in his sacrifice, his love, that results in his death, overrides the old system and absolves sin now by belief in the ultimate sacrifice to destroy sin/death. I hope I got this correct, but even I feel like i'm missing a couple more important points.
Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
With the Hindu guy, why wasn’t human consequences and man’s law vs Gods law and the spiritual aspect of Christ and forgiveness brought up. I don’t feel like his question was truly addressed
I personally think that Stuart could be more clearer in communicating truths. The guy just asked how the punishment vanishes when someone believes in Jesus. Answer is simple. Crucifixion and death of Jesus. Edit: Sorry Stuart, You pointed out the crucifixion later. But didn't need to bring out the caste issue to the table though. Edit: The hindu guy couldn't accept the fact that a person's debt can be cleared by another person. But this is not a stranger thing to us. We have friends who get in trouble and we pay for their mistakes and suffer humiliation and penalty on behalf of them. Thats what even parents do for their kids. If we can do this much, how much more can God do????
War for national security and self defence is supported by the text. Even Jesus said if anyone doesnt have a sword, sell your coat and go buy one. That's huge support for self defense
Based on hinduism principle, accepting punishment for every wrongdoing, just imagine the world where 7billion people goes to punishment after punishment, what is that...? Student says "let's say I'm a monk prays all day and get closer to God" that's not how to get closer to God.
Without works faith is dead. Works animates your faith like the soul animates your body. Without either you arn't alive. Faith is a work and the bible is tradition. Tradition is defined as something handed down and received. It is what it is
I think more the Hindu person, was listening to. His constant use of the word like and right, made him irritating to hear. I don’t think he was listening to Stuart or cared to.
I think that one young man was talking about earthly punishment. God forgives but you still have to fave the earthly punishment to deal with. At least that’s how I see it.
Hey guys! I have a question. When I am praying at night in my bed should I talk to Jesus out loud or can I talk to him through my thoughts? Jesus is good all the time ❤
I don't believe Jesus cares too much about how you pray, but just that you are praying and talking with him. I think praying out loud is beneficial as it can help you be more confident in your conversation with God But I think praying through your thoughts is also good, because sometimes you can't put to words what you think. But no matter how you pray, you should keep doing it.
There's a difference between mortal human justice and eternal justice from God. It's something I struggle with myself, because I want to see justice served to people who do evil here on earth.

How is it merciful to permit people to not be saved when you could easily convince them Mercy ? Nah.., What makes the most sense is the Christian God doesn’t actually exist in reality
@jasonnoble7302 God just provided him the opportunity to bear witness to the truth and receive the Gospel. It's now his responsibility to open his heart and accept Christ. God doesn't want a robot, he wants children who come to Him freely by their own will.
Stuart was right, and the Hindu student seems to believe a fantasy version of his religion that does not align with the reality of India today. The highly discriminatory Hindu caste system is alive and well in India and elsewhere, including in America. The Hindu caste system is an institutionalized practice of racial eugenics, wherein separate castes are expected to marry within their own only, and therefore segregate themselves genetically via assortatively mating. Caste-limited marriage was prescribed by the ancient Hindu texts, and continues to be propagated by the arranged marriage system practised by most Hindus today. Over millennia of this segregationist Hindu practice, it has caused upper caste Brahmins to become generally more fair skinned on average (via influx of Western European genes that entered and were retained mainly within the top castes) than lower class Vaisyas and Sudras. This color-hierarchy reinforces caste stereotypes, in keeping with different socioeconomic status ranks within the Hindu political hierarchy. Ancient Hindu holy books say that upper caste Brahmins and Kshatriyas get to be born into higher caste families, compared to others, due to good works done in their previous life. So this is a genetic description of caste that is linked to one's family at birth, not a tag that one earns later via one's profession. Apparently one can change one's caste only after one dies and then gets reborn higher or lower in the Hindu genetic hierarchy. Thus, there is no objective equality possible among Hindus on earth, due to the pervasive influence of caste coupled with the strictly enforced arranged marriage system, that maintains genetic segregation even today. So to pretend that the caste system does not constrain Hindu people's behavior towards other Hindus and non-Hindus is ignorant, because Hindus view all the world as socially stratified, with brahmins at the top. Upper castes thus retain their permanent superiority by banning intermarriage with lower castes (i.e., as forbidden by the ancient texts). People often get killed for falling in love across caste lines in India today. That is the objective truth about caste inequalities in Indian Hinduism that Hindus prefer to hide.
I think the Hindu guy was talking physical punishment vs eternal punishment. Yes on earth, you do have to bear the consequences of actions but the slate it wiped clean for eternity. Like if someone kills a person on earth and genuinely repents of his sin to Christ, he is eternally forgiven but for the space and temporary time of earthly laws, he will have to bear the consequences during his life on earth. Earth is a small measure of time vs. eternity. The person will for eternity be with Christ but in the small amount of time he was given, he did commit a crime that would make him punished in the flesh. There are consequences of sin I believe that have to bore in the flesh!
The "cop" analogy with the Hindu gentleman should have added that the "cop" would have gone to jail / death penalty in place of the person who did the crime...
For the Hindu, Cliffe should have mentioned why Christ was able to absorb our debt, because Christ had no debt of his own.
My thoughts as well. He seemed like he was starting to understand but just wasn’t making the connection
no for REAL.
I remember back in the Moses/Aaron times,
in order to clean themselves from sin,
people would take an animal and kill it and sacrafice it to God.
in order to be clean from sin, they would have to make a blood sacrafice to God.
they would have to use a goat or a lamb or a cow..
but the animal itself had to be spotless.
without blemish.
thats Jesus.
He cleans us from our sin.
His blood was spilled for us to be clean..
and He was spotless. sinless.
no blemish.
He rose though. with all power in His hands.

Jesus on the cross is a Venn diagram of the intersection of perfect justice and perfect mercy.

Yes exactly as Romans 3 says not one of us are good not a single one and Ephesians 2 says God save you by his grace when you believed and you cant take credit for this it is a gift from God salvation is not a reward for the good we done so none of us can boasts

Oh snap here I come honey😅
Thank God Cliffe stepped in.
For real, i thought stuart was alone for a moment
It hasn't clicked for Stuart yet but it will. The key to the discussion with the first young man was addressing his own self-righteousness. We all have to admit we are guilty of at least wanting to do wrong things.
Yeah Stuart is great but doesnt always explain things the best, got room for improvement
Sometimes Stuart is too modern
He has to be blunt with some people the old school way
Im big fan a Stuart don’t get me wrong but sometimes he can get it wrong describing or understanding other faith outside of protestant churches
Looking forward to learning more from Cliffe and Stuart! Thank y'all for what you do. Please don't ever stop...
I wish I had a compilation of cliff sitting down alone just talking to us about God. So calming and relaxing.
The Hindu failed to realize that Jesus paid the price for our punishment
Would hate to live in a world where a god punished people for eternity for finite crimes... Lol@@johnfal1849

one thing I can take away from Islam and Hindus when they are not willing to give off their religion is not because of intellectual or moral dilemma but rather pride, they have pride in their religion more so if they're born Indian or Arab.

THIS WAS TOO GOOD!!
Exactly. Most people were brought into this world just to be a lesson for true believers, and then to burn for eternity.
@@lordgorshack3970 But as many lessons teach, that building of morality and righteousness through Christ Jesus, we are to correct in righteous judgment and action by planting that seed for growth in God, through God and for the glory of God, all who live among us.

The guy says everything right.
The father-son courtroom analogy may have been beneficial here
What I don't think most people understand is we're judging others based off our fallen morality.
Iszabella amen to that I agree 🙏

@@gingercake0907 I put game in quotations for a reason. Maybe I also needed to put play in quotations to clear up further confusions.

- 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
When we trust Him as Lord and Saviour, His “perfect righteousness” (and sinlessness) is “imputed” to us
(2 Cor 5:19,21) - (Rom 4:7-8, 24-25) - (Phil 3:9).
Some seem to forget also that we will still be judged by our works as a believer whether our works served the kingdom or not. It will be tried by fire and some believers will enter the kingdom all Smokey.

Cliff when are you coming to Charlotte NC

Luke 10:19
"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
With the Hindu guy, why wasn’t human consequences and man’s law vs Gods law and the spiritual aspect of Christ and forgiveness brought up. I don’t feel like his question was truly addressed
Right, right right! Right? Right…🧐riiight 🤙
This hindu guy complains about no punishment, is given an example of a lady who is punished by death sentence, further continues to complain.

I don't believe Jesus cares too much about how you pray, but just that you are praying and talking with him.
I think praying out loud is beneficial as it can help you be more confident in your conversation with God
But I think praying through your thoughts is also good, because sometimes you can't put to words what you think.
But no matter how you pray, you should keep doing it.

The problem with Hinduism is that like most religions it makes God distant not close to your heart.
Its like the police officer walking up to you and saying they'll go to prison in your place 23:00
There's a difference between mortal human justice and eternal justice from God. It's something I struggle with myself, because I want to see justice served to people who do evil here on earth.
yeah its simple
you will reap what you sow
and you are forgiven by god. both of these are true

Yeah?
Atheists are forgiven for not believing in the Christian God ?
@@jasonnoble7302all peope ate forgiven when they put thier trust Jesus and have thier hearts be changed through a humble heart and being honest with yourself and letting go of your own pride and ego think you know it all
This video sets a record for the use of the word "right"! LOL
The Hindu still follows eye for an eye, doesn't understand mercy or grace, which is true love. Would hate to live in a merciless society where people want to punish each other for every little mistake.
How is it merciful to permit people to not be saved when you could easily convince them
Mercy ?
Nah..,
What makes the most sense is the Christian God doesn’t actually exist in reality
@jasonnoble7302 God just provided him the opportunity to bear witness to the truth and receive the Gospel. It's now his responsibility to open his heart and accept Christ. God doesn't want a robot, he wants children who come to Him freely by their own will.

Why should we care about what God wants ?
The “like, like, right? right?” sentence structure makes my brain hurt.
