I think the right way to find if new testament is fake or true is by examine Jesus's teaching. Is Jesus's teaching suggest the universal truth, the timeless truth, the ultimate love? mercy, forgiveness, forgive not 7 times but 77 times, what a powerful teaching, love your neighbor, etc, these teachings will never be outdated, they're timeless truth. if we have followed jesus in every way, the world is a much much better place, there would be no corruption, no violence, no cheating, no poor, no greed. so the ultimate solution for human being is Jesus.
It was also prophesied that Jesus would be rejected by the Jewish people their rejection is what opened up salvation for the gentiles. Isaiah 53 prophesied what would happen to Jesus. It was always going to happen. He was always going to be rejected by His own people but ultimately we are all grafted back in. Romans 11
