- With the power of modding, every time I beat a level in the Splatoon 3 hero mode, my player size will increase until we become too large to even play the game. Is it possible to even make it to the final boss, let alone beat it?

It's bc the player enemy octarians are just using player data, it's been like this since 1. They use the same model and everything, and I'm pretty sure they just use unobtainable headgear for the fuzzy tentacle-hair.

I tried to make a picture that made my Octoling look huge using a cool perspective from on top of the amiibo box in Inkopolis. A difficult jump but Def worth it.
Not only we get to see Jay become a kraken-sized inkling, while having the battle of the century against a miniaturized space bear, but also a Boundary-Break episode all in one video.

We accidentally saw a sneak peak of this mod in action about ten days ago on his Stream.
He forgot to change to a non-modded Switch, and once the news was over, he fell into silence for about 2 seconds, followed by the typical; "Look, let me explain..."
So for those that are curious, it's from the stream titled "What's this guy doin here?", you can find it on Twitch, and just skip to about 11 minutes into the Stream.

Octolings share a lot of data with the player, even going as far as being able to pick up zapfishes in the first game. I'm assuming that's why they grew in size along with you.

Honestly, this reminds me of how in some games theres a mechanic that ACTUALLY lets you get big in size either for one attack or for a short amount of time. Its honestly such a fun mechanic.

To answer the Fuzzy Octolings growing in size along with you, I'm pretty sure it's because the game considers them as players. And you had the scale mod set to effect all players. Why the Fuzzy Octolings are considered players, I have no clue, maybe they're considered regular Octolings with edits to their design instead of their own entity, and sense regular Octolings are playable, it counts the Fuzzy Octolings as playable too? That's my best guess at least. Either that or Fuzzy Octolings are planned to be playable online after the final wave of DLC releases, but I doubt that.
I did not need to see what the full model for mutilated Mr. Grizz looks like and now I feel like I’ve fallen upon forbidden knowledge. Very interesting but also oh my god that is so damn cursed-
