As a heavy edit player that situation you played of absolutely getting someone on museum made me chuckle. Not only is it true, but i did the *exact* same thing on that map a few days ago.
i main recycled. u play it kind of like a tent but quicker and more selfish. constantly shoot out ur shield since it doubles the hp, throw it out like a curling bomb, threatening to swim behind it, and if u not doing that constantly move with it and get into weird spots with ur shield. whenever u fight someone, shoot out ur shield, dont flare it, it doesnt have enough hp to flare. then just hit ur shots
Your take on decavs are surprisingly accurate, however it is more common for a player to shark for a while and then charge at the enemy team from behind to get some juicy splats, the direct sound is also everything :) I know this because I main charcoal decavitator :))
Recycled main here, I like the first kit more, shorting out the brella is pretty common for me to do since it’s quick regen and doubles its health with a good ink trail, and finally hitting someone for 90 then a shield launch is fun
As a Bamboo main (as in, the weapons that are made of Bamboo, not just Bamboozler)... yeah both are accurate lmao. I may have actually not only gotten both versions of the Cap of Legends, but also upgraded both to 5 stars (I do not have a problem I swear). As another Bambrella main pointed out in another comment: Don't flare. Flaring is basically a death sentence due to it's tiny HP and how much ink it consumes (if you flare without launching, it can bring the total shots down from 14 to 5). Launch your shield whenever possible, it's a great utility tool to either distract the enemy or save yourself from a stray trizooka shot, since it opens fast enough to counter it. It's also great for getting a bit of extra ink. That being said, whoever designed the kits for the Bambrella is more insane than the people who main it.
A a Splat Dualies main this is super accurate, at least on the hating Mahi Mahi Resort part. Sadly I don’t play Tower Control so I can’t say anything about that other part.
7:23 kind of true but my fingers never hurt from playing, it only feels tired and I do take breaks but I still play for about an hour almost every day 8:03 not a problem, there are moments when someone is able to dodge, I still manage to kill them with directs, sometimes even with just regular slashes

Splatling main here. Mini: i don't really use that weapon, so i can't say much here. Heavy: that is kinda true. Hydra: not always. Most hydra players i have seen do not have that and i don't do that. Ballpoint: not true. I use it often. Nautilus: That may be true for some, but not me. (I do forget to use my sub sometimes tho. So you got me there. 😅) Heavy edit: sometimes, yes.
I'm a Tetra, vDualie, Wiper and Inkbrush player, and while I didn't relate to a few things, you definitely got the jump-camping right for Wiper, so props to you. I suppose everyone's experience is different, but aside from that, this is a nice video 👍
Yeah, it's tough to cover everyone's specific gameplay style with a small comment about each weapon. I tried to be accurate to some degree, but a lot of those weapons I don't really play often. So I'll have something more accurate for Tri-Stringer (my main) than I'll have for Splattershot Nova (a weapon I never touch)
Lmao, I don't use my sub much on my Kingsmen Umbrella. God I wish it was better. Maybe I should use it a bit more? Also I really love max Run Speed Gear for Scorch Gorge and Crableg Capital for Turf War. With Speed and shield you can chase anyone off the highground of the grates.
I used to be an Undercover main a while ago, and speaking from my personal experience, I did heavily use my subs on both kits. You'd be surprised as to what you can do with the Ink Mines on the Vanilla kit sometimes
@noremfor Yeah it's probably like using motion controls were it is in practice a necessity to get better. Thank goodness I play mostly Salmon Run. I can get by just fine with only sticks.
As a vJunior main, I can confirm that I use Splat Bombs religiously. No X power yet, though, BUT I did make it from C- to S with just Junior in about 4 months, for what that’s worth!
As a Range Blaster main, Range actually requires the most aim out of all the blasters. but at the same time I can't but laugh at the irony expressed about the experience of going against Range Blasters to be 100% accurate 😂. The reason it probably seems that way to most is because how much you need to predict where other players are going, due to how slow your shots are. I'm not even kidding when I say theres times where I'll direct people multiple times in a row or I'll do a complete 180 in the wrong direction when someone is charging at me instead all in the same game.
As a front line user, the segment about heavy edit splatling hurt my soul, to the point where I only try to flank it, spam my sub at it or zooka it. Plus nothing is wrong with vanilla ice cream it is my favorite or chocolate :)
2:43 Its not meta anymore and vertical flick is only used for kills or stopping enemies the other horizontal flick is just for upclose ig anyway i use the second kit bc of the sub lol
The heavy edit had me laughing loll. Also the recycled brella. As a brella main I can say that weapon is honestly so horrible, it sees no use competitively, but unlike other bad competitive weapons it also sees no use casually either, because it's the hardest weapon in the game compared to the value it gets.

Funny video, some were wrong, but a lot were kinda spot on. Range Blaster take is horrible they either hit so many directs or have the worst positioning and awareness imaginable. As a Dualies main I haven't accidentally dashed of Tower in a crucial moment and years and Mahi-Mahi sucks regardless of if I'm playing them or not 😂. I would love to see you do a video for every weapon kit (if your down for that).
As a Splat Dualies player, I really like Mahi (yes, even in this game 💀) But I also play Shot, Range and Decav, and you were dead on the money with those (most of my RB directs are lucky or on accident)

Splat Brella has no damage or paint Tenta Brella is ungodly slow and has no paint Undercover Brella is okay but has no damage Recycled brella's kits are the two worst subs in the game and too high of a PFS. Worst of all, this entire weapon class is hard countered by Splatanas, Stringers, and the R buttom

The only weapon that gives me a break from the "I'm a rat" play style is Wellstring XD All the other weapons I mentioned are not only a main of mine, but you were spot on too XD
Dread Wringer: Kinda, yeah. I promise it’s not just being a fanboy of him though, it is really fun to use. I just never acknowledged it before he mentioned it. Dualie Squelcher: I never touched it in S2 and never played S1, so I can’t relate, but I was a Missile Goblin anyway with the Octobrush Nouveau. Heavy Edit Splatling: Hell yeah, it’s so fun to round a corner on someone or have them rush me with a short range weapon and just watch them be disintegrated. Plus I’m a huge sucker for the full fire sound.
as a sticks player i main bloblobber and dread main primarily, alongside hydra and painbrush the bloblobber one was hilarious. im over here trying to throw my lobs at strategic angles if possible on sticks and im still missing. thank goodness for my ability to front line with blob and my ability to combo people LMAOO dread? dont relate to cause im not the biggest fan of chara but i did notice a spike of dread usage after chara started using it. LOL i just use it cause i like it i also play slosher and tri slosher but not as often .. i PROMISE that theres skill behind tri somewhere i use to HATE that thing and then i learned it (i eat shit still) painbrush is true. i am VERY annoying , not just with painbrush, and my friends have made a point to tell me how annoying and slippery i am to deal with HEHEHE and hydra! i have run speed in i think, five slots? and then ink savers and sub savers because my gear isnt 100% optimized for a great hydra build, rather then built for me. :3 and i like throwing autobombs and Killing People
