Fun fact, a friend of mine was with their dad that owns a farm was trying to transport a mother sheep and some babies to a friend of theirs with rehab center needing a healthy mother sheep for abandoned baby sheep that were recently dropped off at their rehab center. Basically, they had places to be and animals to help. They ran into these oil protestors on the way so my friend decided to get some spare rope and started chasing them with a lasso, which said friend has a hard on for learning since the idiot was a kid. The joy he expressed afterwards to me was mildly alarming as he recalled dragging one out of the street with the rope to get his dads transport truck through over the phone. Long story short, don't protest stupid shit on a nearly empty Texas highway

One of the worst situations one of these protests caused was when a mother was having a stroke and the ambulance was trying to get her to the hospital. She ended up getting paralyzed in the process. When they brought the protester on a news station to explain why they wouldn't stop just to allow this woman to get to the hospital, the activist accused the reporter of trying to divert the attention away from what they considered more important.
That's called sociopathy. Also intentionally blocking traffic is illegal regardless of the reason, plus this illegal action resulted in bodily harm, that's jail time, maybe even a minor prison sentence.
Same in Germany. A Bicycle rider was needing attention after an accident. The rider actually died because the ambulance was not there in time. It was concluded, that there was a good chance of him surviving if the ambulance would have reached in the time they normally need!

A couple things I've always stated in videos involving these people For starters, as someone who has actually been run over by a car. If you crawl over someone, you won't hurt them. Just creep over them like a speed bump. Trucks are a different question, too heavy. Same time if they do get hurt, it's their own fault. They are in the road. In the road, which you could probably make a good case for Attempted Murder, Sexual Assault and Kidnapping. Why? How? Well, it's simple. If you're stuck in traffic you can't go to where you're going. Which means children wherever they are, not being picked up by their parent. We know what happens at the end of that road. Unable to feed your family, a lot of them stop people who are trying to go to the Hospital. I recall a video of a police officer looking into the guys car, seeing a sick child running a fever and they idiot still wouldn't get out of the road. Says he didn't believe the guy. Then there's the whole Burning Man situation, that was dangerous for the people. Leaving to go home, less food and water than they went there with in the middle of the desert. Secondly. I really do think people should start taking out their cameras to prevent them from filming and if you chase after the camera people, the people in the road will get out of the road to help them. Carry zip ties. Citizens Arrest. Tie them to a tree or a light post on the side of the road. They got food and water in those bags, they will be fine. Call the police, tell them where you left them and go on your way. It has also been suggested that people follow them home and I fully approve of that as well. Completely incircle their homes, prevent them from leave to go to work (If they have jobs...) grocery shopping, yes even scaring their children when they try to go to school. If they live in an apartment building, you do the same thing to all tenants who I am sure will be 'happy' to learn that there is a Just Stop Oil idiot in their building. Now, the real issue here. This and all eco-activists are just downright the dumbest people on the face of this planet and that's saying a lot! If they really cared, they would not be wasting time trying to get people to do the work for them. They would be in school, all the sciences and engineering classes, trade work classes, all of it. Everything they need to work on ideas to work on a better tomorrow! But no, they're lazy hypocrites who want everyone to do the hard work for them!

My Peugeot 307 got me 4 times from southern Italy to eastern Romania, Once to Odessa in Ukraine, and once even up to near Arkhangelsk to visit a recently deceased relative and her family. I went through the Brenner pass in February with heavy snow, then through the German highways where I could up the speed to 170 to get to Frankfurt faster. European cars can be just as reliable and resilient if well maintained. The only positive I can see in having a huge American pickup is comfort in the cabin, and raw power for heavy work (which most Americans don't really need on a regular basis, like the grocery and errands example). If you told Americans "hey look you can get this European station wagon that can take you from New York to San Francisco in 3 full tanks for around 4 to 450$ (at most) total in fuel" I bet there would be a lot of people willing to switch for something less expensive to drive. Edit: yes, I have seen American pickups here, and all of them are being used as work vehicles, and they get switched at home for a smaller car after work, and I have also seen American V8s, mostly on collected cars that are used to show off at events. Edit2:actually the fuel cost is skewed as I used the local price of 1.9€ per liter, which should be about 7.5$ per gallon, so it's probably even cheaper to drive that.
In the USA there is already a perfect law on the books that addresses this issue and should be upheld False Imprisonment: Any person who intentionally restricts another's freedom of movement without their consent may be liable for false imprisonment. False imprisonment is both a crime and a civil wrong, like other offenses, including assault and battery. It can occur in a room, on the streets, or even in a moving vehicle. You can legally do what it takes to gain your freedom from being falsely imprisoned. Just drive forward If forcing cars to become a traffic jam, and physically preventing them from turning around, well damn, if that ain't false imprisonment, what is?
"If forcing cars to become a traffic jam, and physically preventing them from turning around, well damn, if that ain't false imprisonment, what is?" That is the worst imaginable scenario in your book? Good for you. Nobody is imprisoned by these protesters, they're free to leave. Trying to make a legal argument is a great aspiration in contrast to the [common] primitive violent reactions you see in these comments, but you have to start from the basics and understand why these laws were written, why they use certain words and what do they mean.
Unfortunately, false imprisonment is a kidnapping law, not just stopping you from driving. They'd have to force you to be inside the car, and not let you drive the car or something similar.

@@pylotheric9777 Eh nobody who cares or is affected by these numbskulls can afford something like that.
A couple things I've always stated in videos involving these people
For starters, as someone who has actually been run over by a car.
Have you ever heard am American V8 true dual muscle car idle and accelerate in person?
Ooo Ooo Ooo! 🐒
@@NarwahlGaming I care about reliability and cost to maintain a car.
Anyone blocking roads like that should get a 5-year sentence in federal prison. 💯
They are not pedestrians
They are free exp for new vehicles
bro that s literally their age so u wanna isolate them till their age is now double smh
@@advaitmishra625I think you mean their mental age
Living speed bumps. They could get a job in an HOA neighborhood.
11:00 I love the policemen being like: this is asphalt it doesn't stick :)
"oh no i tripped and my scolding hot coffee fell on your face, sorry protestor."
Oopsie doopsie 😊
You mean scorching hot coffee?
@@IdontknowZennyeee-ty1tdScalding is what he meant to say i think, idk if its correct tho

In the USA there is already a perfect law on the books that addresses this issue and should be upheld
False Imprisonment:
Any person who intentionally restricts another's freedom of movement without their consent may be liable for false imprisonment. False imprisonment is both a crime and a civil wrong, like other offenses, including assault and battery. It can occur in a room, on the streets, or even in a moving vehicle.
You can legally do what it takes to gain your freedom from being falsely imprisoned. Just drive forward
If forcing cars to become a traffic jam, and physically preventing them from turning around, well damn, if that ain't false imprisonment, what is?
"If forcing cars to become a traffic jam, and physically preventing them from turning around, well damn, if that ain't false imprisonment, what is?"
That is the worst imaginable scenario in your book? Good for you.
Nobody is imprisoned by these protesters, they're free to leave.
Trying to make a legal argument is a great aspiration in contrast to the [common] primitive violent reactions you see in these comments, but you have to start from the basics and understand why these laws were written, why they use certain words and what do they mean.
yep
Unfortunately, false imprisonment is a kidnapping law, not just stopping you from driving. They'd have to force you to be inside the car, and not let you drive the car or something similar.
Good luck getting our corrupt doj to charge these people
@@RS-fy9hb it *would* still be traffic obstruction though so you CAN pursue them legally
JUST STOP STOPPING OIL
Those ppl are definition of “that unemployed friend on Monday”
15:15 that was absolutely brutal. Whoever did this should go to prison. You can’t be so careless towards a camera (also love police ripping the hand of people who glue themselves on the road)
Like imagine ruining a perfectly good camera like that, these people gotta stop running into cameras
😂
the camera was fine
Camera never dies
i hate these people, what did the camera do to them?
