The comfort is amazing! I could have them on forever. The sound don't wear your head out either and they sound great to me. Bas is enought for me, mids are awesome, the highs is not harsh. If you like very sharp treble I would not buy hd569. Great headphones for ps4 because they are driven very easy. Would buy again.

These have more room and more comfortable then my HD600 or hd599. And the sound is a very good all round full, rich sound. And soundstage is wide with good imaging.
Definitely not a very good soundstage. The vocals sound like coming into ears from the sides, unlike in DT770 where there are close to the forehead. But I may be biased as a long-term user of DT770 known for one of the best soundstages for closed-back headphones.
5:38 THANK YOU!!!!!! I have a pair of Siberia V2 headphones, my first pair of good headphones and i didnt know if being able to hear which direction sounds are coming from was a game thing, or a headphones things and no one else has said whether or not these headphones do it too.
Ugh! You know me so well, my friend! I wear glasses with a big frame and my head size is a trash can. It's only been a month and I have returned two headsets already. Finally decided to settle on the Sennheiser Game Zero, but after using them for around two weeks, the clamping force on the top of my head is just too much! On top of that, I want to use a headset/headphones for gaming primarily. Most recommend open-back headphones and I'm inclined to agree. But, my TV is located in a living room nearby the front door and on the left is a kitchen with two other family residents residing in the house. It's nice to hear the clamping force isn't so bad on the 569, but for better sound stage I gotta for open-back, right? Sigh... What a hassle. Those headphones also cost $200 in my country + warranty + tax, it'll be over $250. And it doesn't even have a mic (Mod Mic's an option, but *money!).*In comparison, the 569 only cost around $120. Maybe I'll just go for it, sacrifice better sound stage, but the VMODA mic, and hope for the best.
Great review, thank you. What would be your 1st choice of headphones for EDM and dubstep? Also, If I want a headphones with awesome sound clarity for gaming but also nice base for EDM songs, what would you recommend?
Recently had to retire my HyperX Cloud IIs that lasted me 10 years, tried buying them again to find out that all the quality original parts used in it including the speakers were swapped out for cheaper parts making it feel 3d printed and sound duller. So going with Sennheiser now and 569s seems to have the things I'm looking for including a slightly better range that I likely cant hear 😂. Also as someone with a more tall head then big i do hope the headband can extend enough to not feel like i need to crush my ear lobes or hook it closer to my forehead. Sadly the couple few budget headphones i bought did not. That said, even though its listed as a negative as not being as portable, I'm likely still going to bring it to and from work, leaving the 6.5mm cable plugged in at home, and bringing the 3.5mm with me to work, using my OG HyperX mesh bag if it'll fit, thanks for the informative video albeit 4 years old now. 👍
@Jaid6n All in all i do like it more. A bit warm on the head since it uses memory foam and you cant replace the ear cuffs. Decent pressure, though takes a couple of shifts to get it just right for me but can wear them all day without issue otherwise. Sound-wise the base is very slightly duller compared to the cloud, but only took me a couple of days to get over it since the range is better everywhere else. Since it has a low impedance it doesn't sound better then the other versions of senheiser, but it does allow you to use it without an amp and in something like a phone or direct pc without much issue. Cable is removable so if it breaks you can just buy another one off amazon for like 15$ and i otherwise just carry it around in my old cloud 2 mesh bag since it fits. Very good at its price point. 👍
If I needed to buy a replacement 3.5mm jack cable, would any fit? I have seen a locking mechanism and wondered whether that blocks other 3.5mm cable housings.
I wish I would have bought the closed back version of my 598SE's when I got it. God it's so comfy, but I don't like the sound leak, which I didn't really consider that when I got it.
I just bought some DT770s and have to send them back because the edge of my left ear touches the driver and it'll only take 10 minutes of wear before it hurts enough to distract - I need to work hours a day in headphones. I've had these recommended to me, but I'm not in a position to try them before I order them. You mentioned it makes contact with your ears, how long before it becomes really uncomfortable, if it does? (Maybe you can recommended some cans with especially wide and deep ear cups at a similar price point?)
Hi there Excellent review You said: "if what you listen is edm - this wouldn't be my first choice" So if i may ask.. Hi, which one will sound clearer and more neutral, 599 or 569? Both stand out in comfort, but from the recordings I have heard the 599 a little darker and I want the music to be heard clearly and more neutrally.
Every shop shows that the weight is around 750g, not 280g. This matters a lot to me, could anyone please confirm what weight are the Sennheiser HD 569? Did anything change?
Good stuff! Need your advice though... I have the HD 598 and I have an offer to exchange them for the HD 569. I have no way to test them, its gonna be an exchange from distance. I use them on my pc for music and gaming (50-50). Music kind: rock and indie. Should I do it?
