Ampcase was mentioned previously but you don't need to look that hard to see 5 Star Cases name - a UK flight case builder who make great products. And no, I don't work for them, just have some of their cases for my own kit.
Built a mixer case. Bought most all from DIY. I went to local HW store for the extruded because scrap would be way too high if cut to ship. Glad I got rivets from HW store because after I went back for the 3rd box at least I know heads all match. Does it look good and fit purpose? = YES. Was it cheaper than buying a built case? = NO. Was it quick to build? = 20 man hours. Glad I DIY'd? = On the fence. I guess at least I know it will fit the mixer. In my mind it took a lot of time.
I'm in the process of doing the same thing why pay $600 for a case when I can make one for $300 and have it exactly how I want it and have fun while doing it. They will be housing 2 ADJ FS3Z ( a $1,000 Stage Light).
nice operation,, I have to use a double wall profile ,, and table saw for the wood and jig saw. Also a radial arm saw for the mitre cuts on the T/G.. it would take me 5-6 hrs to do the same project.. automation is nice,, a cnc router would be my ticket,, with a auto feed table for the plywood..
It's both. It all depends on where you live. Here in the US as well as in Canada, we spell it aluminum. Everywhere else in the world spells it aluminium.
I lost it @ 1:42 "Following the design drawn up in CYBERSPACE" hahahah

I dunno man but imported products and branded flight would be twice the price at our place.

What machine is that? (the one that punches the aluminium) I've been looking for something like this, does it punch steel too?
Dani Appleby it’s an iron worker
It's a hydraulic press with unipunch style C punches set in a jig.
