I was making them for a while and then life got busy again lol
In heinsight would it have been better to use toungue and groove boards ? are you not concerned the different species of timber will expand and contract differently eventually causing gaps or buckleing?
It would be stronger with T&G, sure but this thing has been rattling around in a non temperature controlled trailer for years. No problems yet :)
What happened to the paint?
I was building two cases at the same time. One with paint and one without.
Where did you obtain the hardware and latches?
I pulled them from an old road case ;)
