OK, this comment has gone long enough. i don't know who wrote it, it wasnt me, i liked SR3 better, and i get likes and comments every day, this was not written by me -.-
I'm reading comments and everyone is complaining about rage,SR3, and dead island. As joe said, there are not BAD GAMES, these are games who had the resources and abilities to make them better. He said that he enjoys all those games but they had much more potential is the point of this whole list
vinchisters I don't really agree. I believe ME2 and ME3 were wonderful games on a technical level, but were betrayals to the fans of the first. A scifi rpg epic with a sweeping tale was watered down into a run and gun space opera with a weak narrative. I remember when Bioware was known for games like Baldur's Gate. Do you see a game that epic coming out of their labs any time soon? Of course not. That company died a long, long time ago.
Krystal Myth The thing is, Bioware changed their development style to get with the times, games require innovation otherwise they end up like Bioshock 2 (a great game but not much of an improvement over B1). Bioware isn't gone, it's just different now. I understand that some, including you, don't like the new game style but it's the only way the gaming industry can evolve. That doesn't mean that watering down mechanics is a good thing but refining them should be on every developer's plan. In my opinion, ME2 and 3 trimmed the fat of ME1, that is, they cut the clunky gameplay and replaced it with a more cinematic experience that fits the narrative.
vinchisters Bioware was synonymous was triple-A masterful games that nailed constant game of the year awards. Your definition of evolution has lead us to slowly decaying review scores, and games like Dragon Age 2. I'm not saying you're wrong, from a theoretical perspective, but adapting to a fickle market is not evolution, it's survival, and Bioware will be put on its knees if they continue trying to adapt to this market, instead of giving the market quality games even they may not realize they want. Like they used to.
6:23 "With repetitive enemies, a generic soundtrack, and subpar graphics, Destiny feels like a wasted opportunity for that could have been so much more." Sound familiar Microsoft?
Саиб Гасанов LOL I only get frustrated with mispronouncing when some Americans mispronounces Japanese names. Take "Naruto" for instance. It's "NArutO", not "naRUtoe" or "naROHtoe" but I get where you're coming from!
I actually liked Rage, sure the ending sucked and the story wasn't one to remember but the gun play was awesome. It has one of mt favorite shotguns in all gaming plus wingsticks kicked ass. I loved having a mutand run at me just to toss a wingstick and chol his head of and his headless gody still taking a few steps then falling and shotgun felt powerful as hell.
I enjoyed rage, it was pretty decent, I at least enjoyed the FPS, racing mix, but the Dead Island was a really flip of its trailer, from being seen as an emotional, ground breaking zombie game, to a rather repetitive quest runner co-op experience.
I'm apparently one of the extremely few who loved rage, wth? Then again I didn't have any kind of big expectations when I got it, only good id game I had played previous to that was the original Wolfenstein, rest of id's games never appealed to me at all. My only criticism for it would be that it was not a open world game at all. But then again beyond the first elderscrolls game neither was any of those, really(still they were WAYYYYY closer).
This shit is hilarious! Kim Jong Joe made me burst out laughing and the clips from the jurassic park game was some of the funniest footage ive seen in a long time
Aww hell yeah. Those Thriller dance moves still crack me up to this day! It's rare for a dance to be well-made, entertaining and funny all at the same time. I still remember that video premiering at primetime on major networks. My whole family watched it when it first came on. As a kid, the zombies-in-the-house part actually kind of scared me! But my brother and I loved his cat eyes at the end! I also recommend Weird Al's Eat It video. All that shit from back then was corny, but funny, even entertaining usually!
+Kappa, King of Memes. Wasted Opportunity? Yes. Sub-par graphics? God no. Destiny became a decent distraction over time, but never delivered the depth that was promised.
I know it was released in 2012 but Angry Joe we do have a Michael Jackson The Experience where you can dance only. It's called the PS3/Wii version but you were stuck with 360 at the time.
I never watched angry joe for the longest time because i thought he just ripped apart games but when i realized who he was he is my absolute favourite reviewer. i find the guy hilarious and i love his attitude and commentary.
And with Dead Island let's not forgot that you CAN'T QUIT THE MISSIONS! Stuck on that jungle mission where that warrior character (don't know his name and I don't care) keeps getting in the way causing you to constantly fail or die because you can't just quit the mission and gear up with better weapons? Well fuck you! I broke my copy of the game out of anger because of this! Fuck you Dead Island. I put over a week of time into the game and was really enjoying it. Than I got to the jungle and that's where the game becomes anger inducing.
You're right. ID only tried "scary" once with DOOM 3, and it failed hard. Not in the sense of the game itself, It was decent, but it was monster closet and jump scares: the game. They really shine with action and Quake/Quake 3 remain to be 2 of the best FPS games ever made, along with DOOM 1/2, and from other developers, Unreal Tournament, Counterstrike and Tribes.
I like to come back to these old videos because the microtransactions weren't present, now days whenever a game comes out you'll be surprised if it doesn't have microtransactions. I hope that in a few years someone will respond to this comment saying " ahh...microtransactions, glad that time passed.
I'm still salty over Saints Row. Can't believe how fucking bad Volition ruined the series. Had the potential to be a serious contender to GTA, but they had to fuck it all up.
Phspaulo22 Just by clicking in his video and watching the ad gets him revenue, so I don't see why he can't add the whole list in the description. It's faster and more practical if he lets us know at what minute appears each game.
You missed nfs the run... HUGE disappointment after the fantastic game that hot pursuit was and the hype for the "cinematic" experience that we never got with the run
Juaneloo27 compare it with the GTA games. it looks and plays the same. and i like what they did with saints row IV even even though the features arent original. they still tried to make it different.
***** Saints row IV is just same as dlc for saints row the third where you have got special powers too... they are just lazy to make it different from dlc and other episodes
Saints Row The Third maybe forcing play side activieties but only on easy dificulty and remember one fact which was ANOYING in Saints Row 2 is that you need earn respect to play story and what you do to get respect? DING DING DING DING you play side actirvieties so whose forcing you do side actievieties think really think about that The Third is even better in some thimgs than that overrated Saints Row 2 and I dont F***ING care that everybody thinks that SR2 is awensome and SR3 is garbage for me SR3 is awensome and SR2 is total garbage.
***** You were lucky consider yourself LUCKY because for me after each mission needed play like 2-3 side activities because of gliches and bugs for some reason after story mission I always get 0 respect.
SR3 wasn't BAD (wanted to put in bold to show emphasis instead of extreme emotion) it simply focused WAY too much on comedy. Remember SR2 when *SPOILERS* Carlos *SPOILER* died? That was actually sad. SR3 you care about.... well anyone.
I really really liked Dead Island on my first playthrough, but unfortunatly I have to agree with Joe, after the first play through it gets boring. I managed to get 2 play throughs and I only made it through the second one because I was doing co-op with friends. I just don't think it had enough to justify more than one play through, because there were no game mechanics like decision making that changes the outcome of the game. I enjoyed the first play through and I like the game but yeah, needed a bit more meat on the bones to add replayability imo.
i wouldn't play it again, but i thought its length justified that. i wouldn't play 90 % of games a second time round, but thats probably because i don't have the time.
And now that amazing and emotional Dead Island Trailler is dead forever by the lastest cartoony shitty game they releashed and the controversies bullshit about the sequel. and wow, Joe, I never thought of you as someone who could play Sowrd of the Star games O_o. That game is some hardcore 4x shit that you need to be beyond normal nerd to play.
***** Not escape Dead Island. Dying Light was supposed to be Dead Island 2, but something happenned and the developpers left. They used what they developped for Dead Island 2 so far to make a zombie game of their own (Dying Light). While the company that made them is going to make Dead Island 2 still.
Omg. Couldn't agree more with Saints Row the Third. I have extremely fond memories of Saints Row 2's co-op mode with all the deep customization, freedom, fun story, and wacky side missions. Saints Row the Third felt very stripped down from Saints Row 2.
Just like Joe i thought Saints row 2 was 100 times better than 3. But i never thought 3 was bad. On the contrary, i thought it was hella fun, just not as good as 2 :c
Does RAGE get better? I found myself playing it in spurts then always picking other games after i started to feel bored with it. Im only on disk one though, how much better does it get?
I'm not a "crazy fanboy" I'm just pissed how lazy Volition has been. I can't believe your blindness to every thats SR3. Did you even hear what Joe had to say about this game? Have you even played the first two games? You new fans don't know what your missing!
10. 1:05 Homefront 9. 3:12 Jurassic Park 8. 5:23 XMen Destiny 7. 7:48 Lord of the Rings 6. 9:05 Rage 5. 10:42 Michael Jackson Experience 4. 14:00 Dead Island 3. 15:23 Sword of the Stars 2. 18:26 Dragon Age II 1. 21:12 Saints Row: The 3rd You're welcome.
Just finished Jurassic Park The Game and while I thought it tied well to the film canon and the original story was pretty good, I thought the characters were bland and forgettable with stiff graphics and a few glitches in the animation. So I probably wont be going back to it anytime soon, but it was a nice treat to try - 6.5 out of 10, okay, but forgettable.
The story was awesome. It was full of memorable moments. In what other game you can jump from a plane, kill a bunch of dudes, enter a tank in midair, kill other dudes,as your tank explodes jump in another tank still in midair, kill a bunch of other dudes, then land with zombies raining around you? This isn't a game that takes itself seriously,it's meant for pure fun. That's what you didn't understand.N00b.
Are there any good Jurassic park games? All those I played (including older ones as a kid) were a huge letdown (how do you make dinosaurs boring, and games about them where the dinosaurs are often only a tiny component, rather than the focus!)
21:32 I can just imagine the conversation you had with your accountant when that receipt came up during tax season. "Fuck you, Ira, it's a business expense!"
Angry Joe's opinion is just that. An opinion. I personally loved every single moment of SR3. I liked it even more than SR2 - however I do miss the grittier story and old Shaundi
***** yeah the graphics are great but that doesn't mean it was a good game. it was more of a bunch of mini games in one game. the game was just confusing and boring at the same time.
***** I just finished Rage yesterday, generally I enjoyed it but I am still very pissed off at the ending. For that alone I have to score it 6/10. Id fucked it by rushing the ending with no boss battle and enemies killed easily with one wingstick. Even the last minute BFG was no match for the shitsticks. I was so disappointed😧
***** Rage wasn't that bad in my opinion, but it wasn't as good when compared to things in same genre like Borderlands and Fallout. It's good and fun, but unlike Fallout which goes all dark, and serious, and Borderlands which goes all fun, whacky, and explosive, Rage is stuck in the middle. It's action oriented, but you feel so really alone in its large world. Borderland fixed that by making their game co-op, while Fallout is RPG so you don't realyl feel alone. What that guy said, I also agree with him. You don't really know what are you going to do in the world of Rage. There's no guide, no direction, no superior to tell you waht to do, YET, you are not free to travel and do everythings like in Fallout either. That's what he means by confusion. About the minigames part, oh they are fun alright. I remember spending hours to playing card games and gamble BUT it feels pointless and kinda feel like you wasted your life away! Why sit there and grind money or play card game instead of what you are supposed to do! And you don't even know what you are supposed to do! And no, I'm not hating on mini game. There are many game with minigames out there that feels fun and relevant, but Rage mini game are pointless and too grindy. I mean, even Mars War Logs feels more fun than this game (when you worked through all the glitch and fucked up difficulty) because it got clear directive and engaging story, but Rage story is jsut meh, and very loosely meh too, while you can't do much in its world and can't have friends to play with you. It's like Fallout : Fun on its own. Life drainer, it is. Borderlands : Occasional funness when you invited friends to play with you and do whacky shits. Mars Wa Logs: Fun because story alone and because you know what to do Rage: Well, it's better than CoD alright, but.... feel depressing rather than fun.
***** Do not mistaken though, it is a really well crafted game, from a ,no doubt, professional and experienced developpers, but it's just not fun to play as. It feels like a wasteland simulator game without the selling point, man.
***** No shit? Who said it's your opinion ? I'm backing up the OP opinion here and stating my opinion too, just like you. Are you new to the internet or something ?
6:26
"Destiny feels like a wasted opportunity for something that could have been so much more" Haha foreshadowing much?
He is jesus :D
exactly my thoughts as I heard it
Nice one
+DeckThe Lols Joe knew it all along!!!

6:29 hmm... I wonder what other game with "destiny" in its name this statement could also apply to.
Hmmmmmmmmm
LOL I thougth the same
Mournforthelost96 Same score too
Mournforthelost96 haha yup
saints row 2 was the best in the series
Saints row 2 was more like an Expansion pack of the first.
Saints Row 3 is easily the best. Also IV sucks.
binarystar21 Saints row 3 was the worst not the best IV is a big improvment.
Andrej Serababa LOL no. It's a $60 DLC, they didn't even change the locale AT ALL.

Saints row is a duology and saints row 3 got cancelled in 09 you can read bout it
Bioware used to have a perfect track record. It's depressing what EA has done to them.
Bioware's only recent misstep was DA2. ME3 was amazing on every level (if you downloaded the ending patch, that is).
vinchisters
I don't really agree. I believe ME2 and ME3 were wonderful games on a technical level, but were betrayals to the fans of the first. EA is a disease. It made the abomination that is Fifa.
In regards to X-Men Destiny, that game is now hard to find due to a lawsuit between Epic Games and Silicon Knights.
6:23 "With repetitive enemies, a generic soundtrack, and subpar graphics, Destiny feels like a wasted opportunity for that could have been so much more."
Sound familiar Microsoft?
+ghost245353 Except destiny has a decent soundtrack and has nice graphics
TheKSH991 destiny soundtrack was fucking epic
6:29 You can say that again
Ha! Nice.
fuck you that is my line
Justin Woodall haha yup Joe Predicting the future.
Is it just me, or are you saying "expecially' instead of "especially"?
***** it's just his dumbass
***** i know that. But don't tell me you can't put tiny effort into changing a small thing like that. It's not even that big of a mispronouncement
4elFROMEKB Dude, why you gettin' all angry about it? Chill
Саиб Гасанов LOL I only get frustrated with mispronouncing when some Americans mispronounces Japanese names. Take "Naruto" for instance. It's "NArutO", not "naRUtoe" or "naROHtoe" but I get where you're coming from!
legend has it, Angry Joes' first word was "fuck".
I thought it was "4 HOOUURRS!"
Derp, no, it was, “You Done Fucked It Up!”
"The game can be summed up with 'There you go ,back to Where you belong. Now i can close that gate' "
Brilliant!
I actually liked Rage, sure the ending sucked and the story wasn't one to remember but the gun play was awesome. It has one of mt favorite shotguns in all gaming plus wingsticks kicked ass. Felix Kütt I looked Rage!
Dont forget the saving system in Dead Island.
I really liked rage, more than dead island at least.
The intro of Dead island was promising... But atleast we get to hear Who do you Voodoo from Sam B
6:28 - 6:33 Angry Joe predicting the future again I see
6:23 Who knew that Angry Joe was predicting the future and would talk about how disappointing Destiny from Bungie would be ha!
I just find it funny that 4 was one of his favourites, despite it being pretty much the same as 3.
3 got cancelled in 09

silverblade357 Obviously I wasn't talking about the graphics.
I'm beginning to think Jurassic Park The Game is one of the most bloodiless violent games I've ever seen.
Number 8 he was talking down to destiney before it even came out lol
i completed all of saints row 3 (when i mean all, i mean, ALL) and i didnt have regret for doing so...
... anyone anywhere out there was disappointed by Jurassic Park: The Game being bad?
I know it was released in 2012 but Angry Joe we do have a Michael Jackson The Experience where you can dance only. It's called the PS3/Wii version but you were stuck with 360 at the time.
I never watched angry joe for the longest time because i thought he just ripped apart games but when i realized who he was he is my absolute favourite reviewer. i find the guy hilarious and i love his attitude and commentary.
Hey, Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis was good!
That number 1 on the list... are you fucking serious?
TheEngiGuy Nope.
I no write
Play the saints row 2 and you'll see why its up there
And with Dead Island let's not forgot that you CAN'T QUIT THE MISSIONS! I absolutely love Dead Island. Played the shit out of it. Bought the Definitive edition for Xbox One too
I don't think rage is supposed to be scary. Id software's first person shooters were about action.
+Nightcaster460 i thought rage was about rage-ing....like a bullet storm/hell
***** XD

Where is command and conquer 4? WHY DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW ABOUT THE COMMAND AND CONQUER SERIES?!??!?!
Dead Island should be first. After 20 minuted of playing I stopped because it is boring as hell. And I actually liked SR3 :(
I actually listen to the dead island theme when I am sad... :P
I'm still salty over Saints Row. Can't believe how fucking bad Volition ruined the series. Had the potential to be a serious contender to GTA, but they had to fuck it all up.
Rage is good.I don't agree with you
I know this is old but dude this game sucked
fuck dude. did you read the title or what he said at the beginning
"These are MY top 10 dissapointing games of 2011"
islayzombie100 Will check it out. Thank you for response :)
What are you talking about...? I was quoting what Joe said.
I have to disagree with War int he north. the graphics are pretty good on pc, and the gameplay is fun.
I actually liked the War in the North game.
He didn't say they were bad games, just disappointing, like dead island it was solid but it wasn't the game that they promised
That sounds awesome. The designers forgot that SR had dark moments. It was just as dramatic as it was silly.
Would it have been THAT hard to put the whole list in the description to save us time?
then he wouldn't get the views really...
just watch the video, it's not like you have anything better to do for the next 24 minutes anyway.
Well, I'd like to have an explanation as to why the games are disappointing.
dirtymurphy24 didnt he say for each enumerated game the reasons for each? bro?
Phspaulo22 ...yes. that's what i was saying.
Phspaulo22

Dead Island, I am afraid, you are very very wrong.
at least he didnt say it was awful
epictrollface23 it was though
dead island wasn't awful it wasn't great but its fun and addictive I didn't care much for it but its not that bad
Blake Mckendrey
Dead Island was just amazing :)
He didn't the game as bad or awful, just disappointing
Signs of an old Angry Joe video:
-Loud obnoxious music that goes on forever
-Mic clipping
-Joe is thin
-"Expecially"
-360p

I miss saints row :(
dead Island wasnt bad in my opinion
It was dissapointing not bad.
oh yes, it was instead terrible and repetitive.
Yeah, I agree. Sure, the trailer was misleading, but it's still one of the best trailers I've ever seen for a video game. I still loved the game.
Lee: Hou just said you got it for free. There you go. While most of us spent 60 dollars on a disapointing yet cool game.
where is brink?
check the worst of list
Consider the fact that "Drop That Dookie" has been listened to more than most singles from a lot of actual aspiring hip hop artists
OK saints row the third is not that bad
but the two was 1000 times better

But in SR2, you had a choice in which activities you play to earn respect, The Third forced each on you.
TechnAmateur
Well fair point, and I know most SR2 fans played it on console while me played on PC and we all know how PC port was carbage.
homefronts multiplayer was sick. way better than call of duty but a bit too resemblent of battlefield
***** i dont remember how sniping was in that game, i just remember fucin shit up.

+Runar Baldursson HA!!! Good one, that made me laugh out loud!!
Dragon Age 2 is not bad IT IS AWSOME!!!!!!! Its One of my all time fav Games
Deald island and saints row 3 were good but joe just shows no respect for them at all.
O_O wow you must've had some type of fucked up life then
What my picture?
They're good , just that they didn't live up to what everyone expected them to be , they're > dissapointing < .
Check a dictionary for the word.
I enjoyed SR3, but Dead Island? Really?
Yes I loved it.
SR3 wasn't BAD (wanted to put in bold to show emphasis instead of extreme emotion) it simply focused WAY too much on comedy. Remember SR2 when *SPOILERS* Carlos *SPOILER* died? That was actually sad. SR3 you care about.... well anyone.

i wouldn't play it again, but i thought its length justified that. i wouldn't play 90 % of games a second time round, but thats probably because i don't have the time.
*****
Not escape Dead Island.
Dying Light was supposed to be Dead Island 2, but something happenned and the developpers left. They used what they developped for Dead Island 2 so far to make a zombie game of their own (Dying Light). While the company that made them is going to make Dead Island 2 still.
rusty banana I was right, you stupid fuck.
Saints row the third was awesome
Disappointing =/= Bad
There's a difference. Not a small one at that.
Omg. Couldn't agree more with Saints Row the Third. I have extremely fond memories of Saints Row 2's co-op mode with all the deep customization, freedom, fun story, and wacky side missions. Saints Row the Third felt very stripped down from Saints Row 2.
but.. I love saints row 3...
Just like Joe i thought Saints row 2 was 100 times better than 3. But i never thought 3 was bad. On the contrary, i thought it was hella fun, just not as good as 2 :c
Saints row 3 isn't bad, but disappointing because of how good SR 2 is, therefore it's in the top 10 most disappointing games, not worst games.
7:25 Looks like it's safe to say that Angry Joe didn't "feel so good"
Why isn't Skyrim on this?
***** I liked Skyrim the first time I played through it, but after that it became repetitive and boring.
***** Some games have good replay value though, which is what I was getting at. Skyrim does not have that.
Why the fuck would you need to replay a game that gives you over a hundred hours of gameplay in the first play through? Stupid much
TheMrmatthewparker Hellooo, What if I wanted to see if the game played differently as a Stormcloak versus an Imperial?
***** I just found it boring after the first playthrough. And I've also never played Assassin's Creed or Far Cry.
where'd u get the 999,689 from?
whats the music at 2:42
Having played Destiny, I can truly say it was the most over-hyped game of the year. It was bundled with my PS4 White model.
Rage is on here WHAT! how can you put rage on here it's pretty fun I don't understand
I think its insane how everyone loves SR3 more than 2! What the fuck is wrong with people!?!
I need to play Saint's Row 2, because Saint's Row 3 is the only one I've played and I think it's pretty good.
Have you played saints row 2 yet
@@AliBazz no :(
@@valleybiitch oh well till you do just keep in mind saints row is a duology and saints row 3 got cancelled in 09 you can read bout it

1. 21:12 Saints Row: The 3rd
You're welcome.
Please explain your opinion on sr3 in more detail
10:27 - OMG Angry Joe and Michael Jackson! In the SAME VIDEO!!!
I am new to the Saint Row franchise but a big fan of GTA games, so should I buy the second one instead of the third, how good is the first one?
Wow youtube murdered the audio of this video.
I love how Joe put SR3 as the most disappointing game of the year and then put SR4 as 3rd best game of the year...
That's what you didn't understand.N00b.
at least the last of us gave us what we wanted from dead island
Are there any good Jurassic park games? All those I played (including older ones as a kid) were a huge letdown (how do you make dinosaurs boring, and games about them where the dinosaurs are often only a tiny component, rather than the focus!)
Someone has to count how many times Joe said "4 HOOURS!".
Meh. I enjoyed Dragon Age 2 more than a lot of other games, even with its much smaller scale story and setting.
17:25-17:35 That is still happening nowadays with Anthem, Fallout 76 and others..Yeah its the new gaming trend..
the intro isnt angry enough >.
I liked it because it let me do a lot of the stuff I wanted to see in GTA IV
My only real complaint about Rage was it's length, I felt I was maybe a third into it, only to go ''What? This is it? Game complete? Seriously?!?''
This was the first video I watched thanks for all the great memories
That's really cool
did you play the first one?
Rage definitely was the worst game i ever played. I even gave up on gaming for a good while because of it.

Rage wasn't that bad in my opinion, but it wasn't as good when compared to things in same genre like Borderlands and Fallout.
It's like
Fallout : Fun on its own. Life drainer, it is.
Borderlands : Occasional funness when you invited friends to play with you and do whacky shits.
Mars Wa Logs: Fun because story alone and because you know what to do
Rage: Well, it's better than CoD alright, but.... feel depressing rather than fun.
*****
Do not mistaken though, it is a really well crafted game, from a ,no doubt, professional and experienced developpers, but it's just not fun to play as.
It feels like a wasteland simulator game without the selling point, man.

No shit? Who said it's your opinion ?
I'm backing up the OP opinion here and stating my opinion too, just like you.
Are you new to the internet or something ?
I love that the bleeps when they are doing mayhem at 22:00 don't even cover the word
