+bladske i can see what you mean with 2013 and 2014, sure they had some good ass games here and there (bayonetta 2, shovel knight, dragon age inquisition, bioshock infinite, tomb raider, metro last light, the last of us etc) but SO MUCH crap was stuffed between these great games that it was almost not worth it. 2012 however was actually very good IMO, with borderlands 2, max payne 3, the walking dead, darksiders 2, far cry 3, journey, hitman absolution, dishonored, mass effect 3 and CS:GO. Even then, i gotta agree that 2011 and 2015 were two amazing gaming years.

2011 had so many awesome games that I continue to play to this day! Games like Batman Arkham City, Dark Souls, Battlefield 3, Mortal Kombat 9, and easily Skyrim are considered some of my personal favorite games of all time! It is honestly unbelievable that these games are still so fresh and organic so many years later but they truly are!

10. Saints Row 3: 7/10 Not what I hoped for at all, a bit bland at times but fucking fun and has an amazing first 5 hours but still a bit disappointing 9. Portal 2: 8/10 Yes its only no.9 only because of the ending, it left me on a massive cliff hanger which I don't really like and valve can't count past 2 so i'm stuck with that. Still a brilliant puzzle game that never gets old. 8. LA Noire: 8/10 Stunning visuals interesting concept and I got it for a measly £5(shout out to GAME for second hand games) a real shame that team bondi went bankrupt, they went out with a bang 7. Mortal Kombat 8: 9/10 Fighting game of the year and one of the best of the console generation, very gruesome game that I loved. 6. Uncharted 3: 8/10 Step down from Uncharted 2 but incredible graphics and challenging gameplay kept me the edge of my seat and a very good game. 5. Batman Arkham City 10/10 This game is brilliant, fluid combat, a twist end it would be no.1 if it wasn't so easy. 4. Battlefield 3 9/10 King of shooters, incredible realistic and it made me love modern military shooters such as spec ops the line. Beautiful graphics and addicting gameplay makes it in my top 5 3. It's 2016 and Skyrim still makes me wet. Its the sign of a truly great game when players are still excited to play it 5 years after its release. Also, that 331 Erock guy is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend to anyone that they check out his metal covers :D
skyrim is fun and all but for a truly great RPG experience that came out of the elder scrolls franchise is Morrowind. If you love skyrim you'll love Morrowind even more.
dark souls is atleast top 2 with either portal 2 or the lame ass skyrim sorry i just cant forgive Bethesda for what they did to the ES franchise , its just another dubbed down casual game that any amateur gamer can beat with no challenge whatsoever , Morrowind and oblivion were actually rewarding to play .
Deus Ex: Human Revolution should be praised for having to revive and franchise that was once good, then completely slaughtered. It had to reanimate the series, to be the outstanding sequel to one of the BEST PC games of all time, and it did... unlike Deus Ex: Invisible War which sucked
Regarding #3... Superman will NEVER get a good game. NEVER. Every game he has had ended in disaster. Superman 64 is the absolute worst and it shows that the Man of Steel doesn't have what it takes.
2011 was an incredible year for Gaming! Skyrim was and is a masterpiece and my favourite of all time. Portal 2 is amazing. Uncharted 3, Skyward Sword, Batman, L.a Noire, BF3, Deus ex are great as well!
Did Joe not play Portal 2- I think it's really worthy of being one of the best if not the best game of 2011. Originality and character is what the game was, as well as some really neat puzzles that weren't too easy but neither too difficult either. Come to think about it, for me it is the best game of the year. Many would say no Skyrim is best, which is respectable.. But to me, Skyrim's okay but mediocre in many parts, plus it's mainly a dumbed down version of Oblivion, nothing extremely original. Portal 2 had some of the most insane backstories and puzzles that haven't even been solved today, not to mention more references to the Half-Life universe. I found every single easter egg that's known so far, and I have my own theory on ratman, chell, and so forth. That game has so many small details that if you look change your whole opinion of the game's story. A few I still remember are Chell and the science fair project meaning that she's a daughter of one of the employees, the painting of GlaDos and the founder who strangely look like Chell and it's possible they're her parents, (Glados hinted she's an orphan, this could either support or deny that) the ratman's many dens and how in one he has set up orchestrated turrets which in the credits play so it's possible there's a connection of him escaping as well, his decoded SSTV messages which I'm still not sure about, the message he plays where he addressed 'it' 'johnson' and 'chell' this is obviously long after johnson's death since he knows about chell, the 'it' is more than likely the borealis (Direct reference from HL2 EP2) and there's still so many more! Amazing game, the best part is the secrets

This may be one of the greatest years in gaming history ... I mean Skyrim and Dark souls AND battlefield 3 and uncharted 3 ( the best uncharted game ) that’s a great set of games you got two insane and incredibly addictive deep RPGs in Skyrim and dark souls you got a damn great linear single player game in Uncharted and you got one of the best multiplayer shooters in history in Battlefield

Its my most played game, played though the storyline like 6 or 7 times with different caracters and now and then i still go play it for an hour or so just messing around, killing bandits or getting a whole City angry at me by killing a chicken :P!
Angry Joe is a great host for a TH-cam show like this. He puts his heart into it, dresses in costumes and tries to hold your interest. Even if I don't like a couple of the games, it's fun to watch this guy, Angry Joe. Oh, and the worst game I ever played was Mortal Combat, it's like the old video games of the 80's that looked really stupid. Probably because I was doing real karate at the time.

Has Joe realized yet that he praised Skyrim too much? I mean it's a good game, but not a good RPG. Not to mention it was watered down like a bitch, it got so boring so quickly and the quests suck man. The map is all copy and paste and every single armor in the vanilla game looks awful, really ugly and bland. Man, Dark Souls immersed me more than Skyrim ever could. For me, Dark Souls is possibly the best game I've ever played and although I wasn't surprised to see it on here, I was slightly hoping it was going to be. Anyway out of all the games on here, The Witcher 2 is the best in my opinion.
you do realize that that's your opinion yo, cuz i do like skyrim armor and i have to say that the dungeons assets are copied but you cannot avoid that in such a big world, and i didn't get bored, ive played over 150 hours in skyrim and still not bored. i've bought all 3 DLC's which added a whole new story. im not done with skyrim yet.
As someone who played morrowind oblivion and skyrim, skyrim is still pretty good when you compare, no the best, but still pretty good, but after a while it did get a little boring, that is until dawnguard came out

personal number 1 of 2011: dark souls ...which replaced "Suikoden 2" and "Zelda: A link to the past" as my personal favourite games of all time since it's release dark fantasy is, no doubt about it, my favourite style/leit motive for a game..but i don't really like first person point of view (such as skyrim, which is really crap to play in third person) therefore dark souls felt like it was made just for me i finished it somethin like 15 times only in 2011, and since then i still do a full playthrough every month (which at this point i can easily go through the whole game in less than 2 hours)
Skyrim's third person view (believe or not) was amazing. Why? Cause if you played Oblivion you would know that Skyrim's third person view is something that made the game a LITTLE BIT better (cause I personally enjoy first person view and Skyrim is huge so it didn't matter to me)
Mr. Spicer i played all the "elder scrolls" games except "elder scrolls online" and the one for Nokia N-Gage (yes..i played even Arena ,Daggerfall and Redguard) i've spent hundreads hours in Oblivion (it's my favourite chapter in the serie with Morrowind Overhauled) and for me 3rd person view was non existent there. Tried for 2 minutes and never ever used it again. With Skyrim it was a bit better, but just a bit...if in Oblivion was Complete shit in Skyrim i saw it as simply shit. I played more 3rd person in Morrowind believe it or not, because it was not so focused on "real time combat" (meaning that there was a "probability" system) but again..even there it was terrible
Well for me it was an amazing improvement cause it made the crappy oblivion third person mode into something that was actually playable so what you said about oblivion's third person view being complete shit and skyrim's third person view to be simply shit is pretty accurate (I played all Elder Scrolls games beside Online as well)

Also every time you play it you learn something new about the gameplay and story. It came out a couple years ago and people still play it. Apparently, Joe didn't finish Dark Souls 1, 2 or even Bloodborne due to lack of story for him to wanna continue, but at least Bloodborne still made it, on his best of 2015 list.

I really don´t think that Dark Souls is better than Skyrim, but it DEFINITELY should have been a close second place...these are both superlative games (both of them I still play today), but while DkS is atmospherical, spooky, addictive and really challenging, the level of detail in Skyrim makes the game a technical marvel (buggy has f*ck though) and it offers a really addictive experience and a level of immertion never seen before in videogames. I really think that DkS should have gotten really more attention; Skyrim just stole its thunder in my opinion, which is sad cus a lot of people didn't catch on one of the greatest games of our generation. And, to all the haters: PRAISE THE SUN, BITCHES!!!

skyrim is fun and all but for a truly great RPG experience that came out of the elder scrolls franchise is Morrowind. If you love skyrim you'll love Morrowind even more.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution should be praised for having to revive and franchise that was once good, then completely slaughtered. It had to reanimate the series, to be the outstanding sequel to one of the BEST PC games of all time, and it did... unlike Deus Ex: Invisible War which sucked

Skyrim was and is a masterpiece and my favourite of all time. Portal 2 is amazing. Uncharted 3, Skyward Sword, Batman, L.a Noire, BF3, Deus ex are great as well!

Did Joe not play Portal 2- I think it's really worthy of being one of the best if not the best game of 2011. Originality and character is what the game was, as well as some really neat puzzles that weren't too easy but neither too difficult either.
Come to think about it, for me it is the best game of the year. Many would say no Skyrim is best, which is respectable.. But to me, Skyrim's okay but mediocre in many parts, plus it's mainly a dumbed down version of Oblivion, nothing extremely original. Portal 2 had some of the most insane backstories and puzzles that haven't even been solved today, not to mention more references to the Half-Life universe. I found every single easter egg that's known so far, and I have my own theory on ratman, chell, and so forth. That game has so many small details that if you look change your whole opinion of the game's story.
A few I still remember are Chell and the science fair project meaning that she's a daughter of one of the employees, the painting of GlaDos and the founder who strangely look like Chell and it's possible they're her parents, (Glados hinted she's an orphan, this could either support or deny that) the ratman's many dens and how in one he has set up orchestrated turrets which in the credits play so it's possible there's a connection of him escaping as well, his decoded SSTV messages which I'm still not sure about, the message he plays where he addressed 'it' 'johnson' and 'chell' this is obviously long after johnson's death since he knows about chell, the 'it' is more than likely the borealis (Direct reference from HL2 EP2) and there's still so many more! Amazing game, the best part is the secrets

I wouldn't give him too much shit for that. Dark souls is not only difficult, it's a very unique type of difficult. It took me a while to get in to it and with him trying to juggle a lot of games, I don't blame him.
This may be one of the greatest years in gaming history ... I mean Skyrim and Dark souls AND battlefield 3 and uncharted 3 ( the best uncharted game ) that’s a great set of games you got two insane and incredibly addictive deep RPGs in Skyrim and dark souls you got a damn great linear single player game in Uncharted and you got one of the best multiplayer shooters in history in Battlefield

Guessing he missed Dark Souls when it came out. I did too. All 2011 I was playing Skyrim thinking it was the best RPG ever and the whole time, the Chosen Undead was waiting in the Asylum to break free.

After watching this I’ve realized I’ve been watching Angry Joe for almost 10 years now, thank you for 10 years of entertainment.

Angry Joe is a great host for a TH-cam show like this. He puts his heart into it, dresses in costumes and tries to hold your interest. Even if I don't like a couple of the games, it's fun to watch this guy, Angry Joe. Oh, and the worst game I ever played was Mortal Combat, it's like the old video games of the 80's that looked really stupid. Probably because I was doing real karate at the time.
I honestly agree with 70% of this list, but Mount and Blade Warband is one of the greatest and underrated and unheard of games i have ever seen.

Has Joe realized yet that he praised Skyrim too much? I mean it's a good game, but not a good RPG. Not to mention it was watered down like a bitch, it got so boring so quickly and the quests suck man. The map is all copy and paste and every single armor in the vanilla game looks awful, really ugly and bland. Man, Dark Souls immersed me more than Skyrim ever could. For me, Dark Souls is possibly the best game I've ever played and although I wasn't surprised to see it on here, I was slightly hoping it was going to be. Anyway out of all the games on here, The Witcher 2 is the best in my opinion.
you do realize that that's your opinion yo, cuz i do like skyrim armor and i have to say that the dungeons assets are copied but you cannot avoid that in such a big world, and i didn't get bored, ive played over 150 hours in skyrim and still not bored. i've bought all 3 DLC's which added a whole new story. im not done with skyrim yet.

...which replaced "Suikoden 2" and "Zelda: A link to the past" as my personal favourite games of all time since it's release
dark fantasy is, no doubt about it, my favourite style/leit motive for a game..but i don't really like first person point of view (such as skyrim, which is really crap to play in third person) therefore dark souls felt like it was made just for me
i finished it somethin like 15 times only in 2011, and since then i still do a full playthrough every month (which at this point i can easily go through the whole game in less than 2 hours)

Skyrim's third person view (believe or not) was amazing. Why? Cause if you played Oblivion you would know that Skyrim's third person view is something that made the game a LITTLE BIT better (cause I personally enjoy first person view and Skyrim is huge so it didn't matter to me)
Mr. Spicer i played all the "elder scrolls" games except "elder scrolls online" and the one for Nokia N-Gage (yes..i played even Arena ,Daggerfall and Redguard)
i've spent hundreads hours in Oblivion (it's my favourite chapter in the serie with Morrowind Overhauled) and for me 3rd person view was non existent there. Tried for 2 minutes and never ever used it again.
With Skyrim it was a bit better, but just a bit...if in Oblivion was Complete shit in Skyrim i saw it as simply shit.
I played more 3rd person in Morrowind believe it or not, because it was not so focused on "real time combat" (meaning that there was a "probability" system) but again..even there it was terrible
Well for me it was an amazing improvement cause it made the crappy oblivion third person mode into something that was actually playable so what you said about oblivion's third person view being complete shit and skyrim's third person view to be simply shit is pretty accurate (I played all Elder Scrolls games beside Online as well)

It is extremely hard and it forces you to learn. But when how to do something you can have fun experimenting with difrent builds and it never gets boring. Also every time you play it you learn something new about the gameplay and story. It came out a couple years ago and people still play it.

Apparently, Joe didn't finish Dark Souls 1, 2 or even Bloodborne due to lack of story for him to wanna continue, but at least Bloodborne still made it, on his best of 2015 list.

I really don´t think that Dark Souls is better than Skyrim, but it DEFINITELY should have been a close second place...these are both superlative games (both of them I still play today), but while DkS is atmospherical, spooky, addictive and really challenging, the level of detail in Skyrim makes the game a technical marvel (buggy has f*ck though) and it offers a really addictive experience and a level of immertion never seen before in videogames.
I really think that DkS should have gotten really more attention; Skyrim just stole its thunder in my opinion, which is sad cus a lot of people didn't catch on one of the greatest games of our generation.
And, to all the haters: PRAISE THE SUN, BITCHES!!!
