Complex's are great but it is pure heaven putting that bar down.

Thanks for the info Dan! How would you program them? After strength work? As strength work? 3-4 times/week?

They can be part of the strength session, but I often use them for warm up daily.

Totally know where you're coming from regarding needing it written down to read somewhere in front of you. Otherwise when you're too in the zone you can just forget.

Dan, I have been doing the ABC complex regularly and is quite happy with the results. 25 sets with thr doubel 20's and 15 sets with the double 28's. Just want to know your opinion on throwing in some straight sets in a week, like 75 front squats 50 cleans and 25 presses as straight sets. Going to do one and see how it goes. Will be nice to hear your take on this

You have to do the math...weekly that's a LOT of squats. It might be fine, but I push the press on those "other days" as their numbers are lagging behind the squat. So, yes...but think it through.

@@DanJohnStrengthCoach yes coach.. what I'm planning is to substitute one session of 25 sets with the straight sets and see the difference. So basically its the same volume. I will update you on that, once I do it..meanwhile ABC is again and again proving to be the perfect KB complex ever designed. I will never ever change anything about it... So much appreciated. I'm doing ABC complex twice on one week and once the next week.. alternating between the 20's and 28's.
