I am a little confused about what the scenario is in this video...are we talking about surviving a nuclear apocalypse back when the US and USSR nuclear arsenals were at their maximum? Or are we talking about surviving a full nuke exchange in the present day? Because nowadays, the US has only about 400 land based missiles, and probably only keeps a maximum of 80 missiles at sea on subs at any given time...definitely not 1600 missiles total. And Russia was following treaties up until a short time ago, and they had only about 600 total missiles between all their subs and land based ICBMs...so it seems impossible that they could have as many as 1600 missiles by now.
I am really glad to hear you say that Duck and Cover is not the farce that the vast majority of people have been taught it was, but I could really use some clarification of what kind of armageddon scenario we are looking at here. I apologize if the numbers were more meant to set the scene, and that I should not be looking at them so closely...it is just something I have studied a lot, so the weird numbers jumped out at me.👍😎
