I still remember when the PainKiller album came out in 1990 , and it's really awesome that a newer generation is playing it.
Absolutely one of Priest’s best songs covered by one of the most talented drummers I’ve ever seen. She is incredible. Well done. 👏🏼

@@madmikefoetwenny55 i know absolutely nothing about music, heard the band she was in, and instantly recognized how much her drumming just completely took over and was the main attraction to it. Her band was great dont get me wrong, but shes so insane that me, someone who know jack all about drums, knew how insane she was instantly. Like trident 100% were building around her, and even the mixing played into to it as well. I’ve never seen a drummer kick ass like that before that they completely make everyone else around them have to follow them

I honestly can't stop watching this young lady play. Without the showmanship she's a monster with her playing and technique. Add the showmanship and it's absolutely AMAZING! Next level.

Just discovered Junna 2 days ago and she is officially my favorite female drummer. Love her enthusiasm and killer expressions when she's tearing up the drums.

If I said of a guy playing drums that he is my favorite male drummer, would I be segregating him because he is male and not female? Maybe if I had said Junna was just my 2nd/3rd/4th favorite drummer, you wouldn't have replied. I know women can be better than men at ALOT of things.

Now and then I come back to watch and enjoy Junnas cover videos - and I'm really grateful that I had the opportunity to meet her in person on Fate Gears European tour where she plays as a guest drummer. She is such a humble and friendly person! And nobody would imagine just by meeting her and have some short conversation, that she is such an immensely talented world class heavy metal drummer! Absolutely fantastic. Love the fact that it isn't a one to one cover. Plenty of personality and style in it. Sounds fantastic. Takes a tremendous amount of skill to play so fantastically while looking so wildly frantic. Love watching a drummer just go nuts behind a kit and truly enjoy what they're doing.

Everyone has the skills to play the drums to a greater or lesser extent....it takes intense practise and the love of playing the instrument...you can do it m8 you just have to have the desire to succeed

There are many drummer as good as her who just play and have an look on their face like someone just throw dirt in their morning coffee, while you can see how much junna loves to play drums
Part of it is just getting through a gig/set. While technically possible, playing like this live requires a ton of stamina. Part of the reason why a lot of the times you see drummers eat a lot, all that energy needs to come from *somewhere*. Still impressive nonetheless.
Never cease to smile when I see one of your videos Junna. I have played with some pretty good drummers over the years but no one who has your energy. I don't know where you manage to find the strength to put these videos together. Any always a fan and I hope you will continue amazing us for many more years to come. Stay safe.

Junna makes me enjoy the songs again. She is amazing, I can not understand why she has few subscribers in comparison with other female drummers on TH-cam.

Dragon Force Through The Fire and Flames was my absolute favorite. OMG... This was exceptionally awesome. Technique, again is first rate. Junna shows why she's the most listened to TH-cam drummer.

Still, I think you are still probably right and, Junna is one of the top drummers, nevermind male or female. Not sure why we always have to categorize. She's amazing!!

The song is from 1990… her parents would have had to have been 10 or so when she was born for your statement to hold true. It’s true that Judas Priest started in the early 70s but Painkiller is from 1990.

Throw up a Junna video on a loop. A month later, still not tired of it. Wake up hungry in the morning, put on some Junna, suddenly, food doesn't seem to matter so much anymore. Just got back from the Weed store, put on some Junna, suddenly, do I really need to smoke this stuff? The list goes on and on. :)
That nod at the end is what does it for me.
Junna ist definitely unique! She is like Japan itself: Calm in the beginning like a zen-garden, and then she starts like a roaring thunderstorm, an angry earthquake, an outburst of a large volcano, a tsunami hitting the coast, a bad taifun devastating the land .... and then afterwards turning back to this calm little creature. Absolutely amazing! If you haven't yet: watch her cover of through the fire and the flames and pay attention how she put her drumsticks with utmost care back on the snare after she finished nailing the song. I really love watching Junna every time!!!
