The clarity of Lea's voice and diction is exceptional. You can even right down the lyrics of the song by just listening to her singing. She's a fantastic performer. There's a lot in the Philippines like her. I hope they'll get a chance to prove their worth too. Hollywood, is now start noticing the caliber of the Filipino talents. Look at Chrice Pempengco and Arnel Pineda, They are doing great in the US music scene. Mabuhay Filipinos!
I'm gonna have to agree that "antipatika sya sa personal". I saw her in person at Philippine Idol backstage. I was the only one waiting for her to get her autograph and she couldn't even spare like 2 seconds to sign her name..and I was already right in front of her! But, Lea will still always be my favorite singer.

She may not be the greatest singer for others but to us she is.ALL I can say is that whenever she performs,its effortless and with no pretense.Her syle may not be birit ng birit but thats why i love her voice,its clarity its youthfulness is what makes it special.I am proud as a FIlipino to have one of our kababayan sing in that arena. Those complicated live stadium events are 'lip-synched.' #1 - It makes for an error-free performance. #2 - Sometimes there is wind up there or the mikes could go dead. #3 - The performer in those OPEN arenas sometimes cannot see the conductor or hear the orchestra very well. Believe me, I know. I have worked in 2 of the Olympic Ceremonies.
