Thank you very much for taking the time to post your video to help others, that is very honourable and kind. My wife pulled into our driveway last night and exactly that happened to our 2003 Toyota Prado. I. called Toyota and that individual part has no part number so you have to buy a complete cable kit so I did the ring around. Finally found what I was looking for in a kit but $44 is an absolute rip off although it is cheaper than buying a new vehicle like my wife decided to do last night. By the way I found some coins that were hidden in lint and dust which was a bonus (LOL)
Thanks for this video and STL! I was about to draw something up but opted to downloaded your STL after watching your video. I printed using Tough PLA and fitted no problem.
Very cool video, very clear and easy to understand. I don't suppose you have one showing how to access/repair the gear shift position switch and neutral/park position switch for this exact model Prado. Mine is dicky, and so sometimes the ignition key solenoid dies not release the key.
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, I don't have anything on the gear shift position, haven't had to do that job yet. I'd be researching Toyota forums etc to see if others had the issue. I find those forums full of good info when I need it.
I haven't done a review on my new printer yet.... But it's a Bambulab P1S with AMS if he wants to check other videos on it. It's absolutely fantastic, well worth the money... And simply works brilliantly.
As total noob, just taking the cover off seemed intimidating, but thanks to this video you have given me so much courage!! Thank you!! 😊
Glad the video helped. :)

I'm glad the video was helpful.... hope the lint covered coins you found helped cover the cost of the wife's new car! :)

Very Cool, You Can make The part Using A 3D Printer. I have been Working On My Wifes Car Lately Also. Turbo Issues. Great Video Mate.
Well, it was either I make my own, otherwise it would actually cost me $65 to have just a little grommet post out to me in 3-4 weeks.
@@jelreviews where could you order it from?
