    * Antoine Tisné (1932 - 1998) was a French composer. He entered the Conservatoire de Paris in 1952 in a music writing class, harmony, fugue and counterpoint, and had Darius Milhaud and André Jolivet as his teachers. He won a Second Grand Prix de Rome in 1962. Antoine Tisné composed more than three hundred works ranging from pieces for solo instrument to the symphony orchestra. In addition he was the principal music inspector at the Ministry of Cultural Affairs between 1967 and 1992, then music inspector in charge of the municipal conservatories of the City of Paris. Antoine Tisné won numerous awards in composition besides an Officer of the National Order of Merit, an Officer of the 'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres' and was decorated with the ‘Ordre des Palmes académiques’.
    ** At 10 years old, Marie-Claire Laroche entered the ‘Conservatoire de Paris’ and obtained ‘1ers Prix d’écriture’ in Harmony, Fugue and Contrepoint. Then she obtained ‘1er Prix’ of Piano in the class of Joseph Benvenuti and another one in Chamber Music. In order to present herself at the Marguerite Long International Competition, she had to enter the class of Jacques Février and public classes of Marguerite Long at her school in rue Molitor, Paris. A happy encounter with the great virtuoso Aldo Ciccolini allowed her to reach the highest level of artistic musicality.
    She won several international awards and was appointed assistant of the class of Aldo Cicollini at the Conservatoire de Paris. With the great conductor Louis de Froment and the RTL Orchestra, she has recoding of Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto and Richard Strauss’s Burleske for Piano and Orchestra in D minor. Other recordings include Mozart’s Piano Concerto No 9 in D minor and works of Enrique Granados, Albert Roussel, Jacques Charpentier, Antoine Tisné……
