I have one. 2013 hatch in white. Completely stock and when I put my foot in it, it makes lots of nice engine noise. Very good in snow. I too, love the styling and practicality of the hatchback.
I do not understand how your channel hasn't blown up yet. It's such a good mix of humor, cinematography and quality reviews that is refreshing. Keep on creating!
This is a little late response but I just bought a satin white pearl 2013 subaru wrx limited hatchback with 184000 miles and its only a one owner. It's my first car
@@rykernelson7428 congrats man! amazing cars. and i just bought my 3rd wrx, i sold this black one and bought a blue 2014 wrx hatch with a full sti swap, built motor and big turbo setup.
Fun watch..I agree and still own my 2014 last model year wrx hatch. Totally stock but COBB tuned for more power and fixes some drive ability annoyances.
I love these things. For some reason, I love the tailights of these generation of impreza. There's one for sale near me, looks to be mostly stock but has a fugly shifter, lol
@@Texas_Cruiser Ive put 11,000 miles on it and moved it from MD to OR. No issues at all. I was super lucky the one i picked up had only one owner and 50K miles. But so far so good i literally have not had a single problem with it. Its fully bone stock and still super fun to drive. As long as i keep it this way i think its going to have a long life.
Man, great content, great video. Great tribute to this wonderfull platform making a great winter missile in the upcoming years :D However, you compare the EVO to the WRX and make some comments that I need to address in all respect of your awesome work on this vid ! The real comparison would be EVO vs STi and here's why : STi has LSDs front and rear (WRX doesnt) STi has the DCCD control a bit like the evo does too (WRX doesnt) STi has the shorter steering ratio as the EVO does (WRX doesnt) STi has brembo brakes like the Evo does (WRX doesnt) STi has firmer suspension like the EVO does (WRX aren't bad but pretty soft in comparison) STi has better sway bars comparable to an evo. WRX has soft ones (better traction in snow for the WRX tho !) STi has a 6 speed transmission since 2004 in North america (WRX has a flimsy 5 speeds up to 2015) In the video you claim that your car has the Driver Controlled Center Differential. Your WRX doesn't have the DCCD (Driver Controlled Center Differiential). Only the STi does and it makes a HUGE difference. Your WRX has the 50/50 locked ratio viscous coupling center differential I'm so sorry hahaha. I happen to have owned north of 15 WRX or STi in my life and there's is a huge gap between the two, mainly in winter performance/driveability as the STi is rotating/acting way different than the WRX due to the brembos, center diff control (DCCD) and LSD axle differentials. WRX's open diffs makes it a trickier vehicle to menoeuvre in slippery conditions as understeering is a bigger concern! However, BUY THEM ALL before they are gone haha. Hatch WRXs and STIs are the best. Practical, look cool, less weight in the back than a sedan so rotates way better... I love em ! Cheers !
How good are these wrx in about 2-3 feet of snow ? I’m from the west coast we don’t get much snow like other places. But about 2 months ago got stuck in a storm and trying avoid that this up coming session .
Picked up my ordered 2013 the day after Christmas 2012. Being from Spokane and living in Seattle, I put on Michelin snow tires. Great tires for West Coast weather and the many drives to the mountains to ski. Performed very well in snow. Spring time was time for Michelin pilot super sport. Great for the summer. Nice to have some choices. At present I have 10500 fun miles in all sorts of weather.
hey super late reply but i was replying yo someone else. i actually bought this car. and other than a small bit of surface rust on the rear inner fender that i sanded and coated. there was no rust or rot on the car

😂 makes sense why!

im sorry, you cant say the subaru is the ultimate snow rocket without driving the Evo
I definitely do not disagree with that! I’ve had quite some time in Evo’s, just didn’t get the chance to film them 😪

The owner of the car really needs to take more care of the car. A 2013 with already that much corrosion? Maine salt is brutal.

Nope, the intercooler is right under there taking the air going through the scoop ;)
