Thanks! It's a fun sound but only thing is the whole exhaust kit I installed. Still have the catalytic converter. It comes with a muffler silencer, which is nice. But take that out and that's when the pops come out.
I believe the 1.7 is stock size (maybe even 1.5) but it was, actually a 3 inch muffler size but actual piping, if I recall, 2.25? But, either way, no power loss that I could feel. If anything, just more free flowing power but not exactly power boost.
Hey how’s this holding up 9 months later? I had a cheap aftermarket OEM style last about 3-4 years in the rust belt.. willing to go even cheaper and more race car to get a few more months out of my rusty civic😅
Ahh sorry to hear that but glad you’re able to make some repairs, my Civic is waaay too far gone with the rust. I still appreciate the info on the exhaust. I think I will give it a go. Nice work in the video, btw👍
@@hartfordlabs7754 You and I have joined the Civic Rust Unanimous Club lol. But thanks for watching and enjoying! Let me know how your exhaust work goes!
Hey man, I went the responsible dad route and bought a Walker (PN 48344) Intermediate pipe w/ resonator that's actually a one piece design like Honda OEM, (unlike the last aftermarket 2-piece I had fail on me). It was surpassingly only $124.21 with hardware/ donut ordering online from the local Advance/ Carquest.. Not as fun as the race car exhaust but I was able to get the project wrapped up next day before a road trip and it should help me sell the Rusty Civic soon with it sounding nice and factory again.. I was lucky my OEM- style muffler that came with the last set I bought is stainless and holding up alright. I also replaced the front pipe (under the engine) a few months ago. I'd still 100% consider the eBay racing exhaust if I get another 8th Gen Civic, especially a manual. Keep up the cool content, brother! @@GTSam
@@hartfordlabs7754 Hey, respectable move on the OEM style! Hope to hear some upgrade on a different Civic someday soon with an exhaust! Thanks for watching too!
So I noticed alot of the exhaust on Ebay specifically say Coupe (2 door). Did you have any issues with this one fitting or did you find one that said sedan?

Nice Video, Just bought a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid Sedan and I need a exhaust System so this seems like a good one! because I need one but I don’t have the money ai decided I’d buy a CherryBomb Turbo a few days ago so hopefully it turns out good!

Did you do anything else to your car to make it make the popping sounds? Or did you just change the exhaust? Sounds great btw 🔥

What is ur stock exhaust pipe is it 1.7 inch pipe? And u changed it to 2inch without losing power?

My exhaust is great but the rest of the car is rusting! 😅
Already had the quarter panel repaired but slowly more is rusting out.

Nice ride bro 🤌🏾👊🏽
Thanks man. She's hanging in there.
How is the Cat-Back Exhaust still holding up?
Loud haha. But still good and not rusting out or anything.
So I noticed alot of the exhaust on Ebay specifically say Coupe (2 door). Did you have any issues with this one fitting or did you find one that said sedan?
This one was no issues. I do believe if they say "coupe", it should work since it's the same frame and engine but I'd always double check.
Where did you buy the whole kit? Measure?
I bought the whole kit off ebay. There should be a link to it in the description. Is it still working?
What’s the full name of the exhaust ? And does it fit 2006 civic lx?
It is a cat back exhaust system, is what it should be called on eBay. Should fit your year and model.
Link on ebay for the exhaust bro?

Mines a 2007 EX. Sadly, no SI.
@@GTSam would that exhaust kit work on a 2015 EX
@@swayzzx3298 sadly, no. It's about 8 years different so it would need a different one.
