@No Mistakes comply foam tips conforms to the shape of your ear canal and gives you better seal and isolation. You can do a test with typical silicone eartips, try opening your mouth really big, or try chewing or talking, you can feel that sometimes, silicone tips will break the seal. As for foam tips they will keep on following the shape of your ear canal. Also, comply tips, will also change the signature of the sound a little, for me it makes things a little warmer, so it feels like there is a little more bass resonance. Very awesome.
@No Mistakes i always hear good things about the sound quality of the momentum true wireless, and im sure Sennheiser is famous for that. The Sony sound good, but it sounds very "processed" it sounds like there are a lot of EQs working behind, but then again, they sound good too. If you're looking to an equivalent ANC model, you could check out the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2. Those have ANC and would give the Sony a run for its money. Are you located in Malaysia? Because the Sony is going for super cheap here now 😄
The Sony's simply CRUSHES the AirPods pro. I have them both and musically, build quality, and noise cancellation....it's simply NO competition .....Sony KILLS them. Hands DOWN!
I bought a pair of the original AirPods and they stopped working about a year later. Its hard for me to not consider that when evaluating the new AirPods Pro.
Sony's are simply the best. I have both of them and listening to music on the sony's is such a JOY! It's almost like you are wearing over the ear headphones.
If you are a sport one or working in hot environment and want comfort when you are using your earbuds and want nice sound quality go with AirPod pro and if you are not a gym guy and workin in an office and using the earbud not too much and want a better sound quality than AirPods go with Sony this is my conclusions from all the reviews I watched on TH-cam click like if you agree with me 🥰
1. i think you’re off with the release date of the sonys. 2. the controls on sony cannot be set 'as you wish', they are divided into groups (for example: you can’t set single tap for 'play' and hold for 'lower volume' cause those are in different action groups) 3. the wind noise reduction (just one step above the total reduction) is a very useful and overlooked feature.

For the wind noise reduction, not too much luck for me with that, i sit next to a cooler, and the buffering wind noise is quite apparent to me 😆 overall, still an excellent earbud. Absolutely no one can hear me on the phone through my Sony's, or in meetings. I bought Sony over the ear for music and video listening and air pods pro for the water-resistance plus call quality (don't agree with this video on that assessment. Zoom meetings are also a nightmare if I try to use the Sony's. Everyone complains of a low rumbling sound and scratchy sounds. I just can't use them for that. I've never had that complaint with any Apple headphones. Also, the app for Sony's is great when I'm settling in for a music or movie experience however, I don't want that much set up complexity for a quick phone call or some exercise time. Apple wins for popping them in and just getting going. Sony is the best for music hands down, so they're for my settling in time. Also, Sony lacks any water/sweat resistance and I've heard a few comfort complaints when trying to exercise in them.

WF-1000XM3 are only comfortable for me using foam tips,which are included. When I use ambient aware to hear people talking,when I press and hold the earbud,I can feel it digging into my ear canal. Other than that they are good. Good choice of Sony to include different sizes and types of ear tips.
There is no such thing as perfect earphone.. For me personally, I chose both performance and convenience, everything is with sony...The sound quality especially the music, movies etch can be customized on any you prepared with.. It is like you are in it on sony...100% satisfied here for my music and movies...I had RHA, bose and Airpod... Sony is way better for me..
They are compact and have seamless connectivity around my iPads, MacBook and iPhones. Noise cancelling is magic. Hope it is the same for you too. Glad you love them too :)
I purchased both, Sony for (me) better listening to music/ Apple for Exercise and for running around town because it’s a smaller package to lug around I have used the Sony’s for international flights and they work very well for noise canceling and great sound but after a while say six - 8 hours my ear where become fatigued because of the weight. Lastly , I can fall asleep with the Apple pro as they are very comfortable not obtrusive / they do not fall out on my pillow like the Sony often do. Both sound great , I think it depends on your intended use.

Thanks for this review, been confuse on whicj one to buy. Now I am decided to go with Sony, aside from it's advantages, Sony hardly or no imitation at all, while with airpods pro imitations are everywhere.
For anyone wondering, I def recommend the Apple Pros. I don't get the Sony hype. I bought both to try. The Sonys are not that comfortable and don't sound that great in my opinion. They stick out of your ears. I also don't like how the Sonys voice prompts sound. The Pros are super comfortable and the noise cancelling is amazing. It literally cancels out the noise from my fridge, fan, and A/C. Wow. I wish the Pro's had USB C instead of lighting but I'll just be using my wireless charger anyway. If you like the sound of the Sony's that's cool but what's the point if you can feel them there because they are sticking out of your ears. The Pros make you forget you are wearing them. One of my favorite things about the Pros are being able to lay my head down and still have earbuds in!

Haha after using the pros for a couple of months, its now my daily driver, the noise cancelling works flawlessly too, i noticed this after swapping out to the right eartips and the noise cancelling just shuts out the world. Very awesome. The Sony's are really clunky, not just the earbuds sticking out,but the case is big and difficult to put it in pockets, which is one of the reasons i don't use them too much now. So yea,good observation.
@@adamd7956 well I guess I can give a few, you know like when apple likes to put in wierd glitches and slow down your devices with ios updates, which they once was taken to court for. Oh and how most peoples IPhone 6s needed repairing after a few years because of batter or software.

I love the Sony app. I just really dislike the buds at this point. They’re painful to wear no matter what. I can get a couple of hours out of them and then I can’t wear them for a week because they managed to bruise my ears. Multiple pads, multiple ways of wearing them, doesn’t help. Not for my ears. I’m very much looking into the AirPod Pro’s for work or travel because, even though I VASTLY prefer my over ears, I don’t want to lug my 177X Go’s with me while I’m at work.
I wish the AirPods pro fit like the galaxy buds+ because they sound pretty good and are sooo convenient. Galaxy’s sound absolutely horrible but the fit was amazing smh. AirPods are going back. If the WF-1000xm3’s are as good as the WH-1000xm3’s with the perfect fit then my search for the perfect truly wireless bud will finally be over 🤞🏾
I think the WF1000XM3 is great when u get a good seal on the eartips. It doesn't feel as spatial as the WH1000XM3, but if you get a good seal i think the ANC way surpasses the WH1000XM3. Since you get both the noise isolation and ANC. About the AirPods Pro, now that i got it to fit me properly, its now my favourite go to earbuds, like you've said, its really convenient and small.
@@shyy87 i use Comply memory foam eartips, you squeeze them a little and let it expand into the shape of your ear canals. Essentially giving you a custom seal. Try them, they are awesome. For the Sony, i use Comply TX400 (for more isolation), or you can use Comply Trugrip pro too. For the Airpods Pro, i use some generic memory foam tips, unfortunately, nothing from Comply yet, so I'm still waiting on that haha
@@minttt_ i didn't say the pro sounded better, wf1000xm3. If anything, like the video, the wf1000xm3 sounded miles better than the pros. But ANC, i now much prefer the Pros over the Sony's. Plus its smaller and more convenient to carry around. So the pros don't sound as good as the Sony, but at least im using them more now.

Thanks for review, I have both and they are great. AirPods so convenient, rushing out door or know I need to do mainly calls with some background music while I work it’s AirPods. Want to spend more time getting into your music but still able to make good calls if it isn’t too noisy then Sony’s. The fit in the Sony’s is extremely important like the Sennheisers. Sony should offer master classes it took me over 2 weeks to work out exactly the best way to insert but the anc and sound then is superb.
The flow of the review was a pleasant experience, details addressed👌 But it would have be much better if you could be more natural on your voices instead of raising your tune purposely at the end of every sentence spoken. 👍👍
Hi there. Not sure if you could stretch ur budget a little and if you can. Get the Bose QC earbuds. But if you're between these 2, then a few things to consider. If you're in the ios ecosystem already then the Airpods Pro is great, with the new update with spatial audio, honestly I don't use any app that supports that, but sound quality is still the same. High quality but lack abit of bass. If you need something full bodied. You still can't go wrong with the Sony. But for me personally, Sony gives me major ear fatigue. 😁 hope that helps
I have both earbuds and i am a android user for the last 10 years. Sony are good for about a hour and then start hurting my ear, on the other hand apple can be worn all day long-term (all day long without any discomfort) they feel f#### awesome. This is a no brainer (air-PRO all the way).
I’ve owned the Sony’s for a little over a year now and just now switched to the air pod pro’s, definitely the best thing I ever did. Yes the Sony’s are great headphones but they have given me so many problems since I’ve had them, I should also mention that I even bought a new pair thinking I possibly bought a lemon the first time but still continued to have problems, I would definitely recommend spending the extra money on the airpod pro’s!

Hey there, that's the problem i faced too. Ear fatigue. I'm currently using "Comply TX400" memory foam tips. Isolation is amazing and super comfortable. It still fits in the case, but you just need to press gently so it sits nicely inside. I'll link you to them.
Wow you have a fast response! I already bought the 1 x TrueGrip™ Pro. There is no store in Europe sadly... so I payed 25 dollars including sending costs. Hopefully these will fit well. If not, I will try your picks!
got the Sony WF-SP800N's and had to return them because they where just so uncomfortable, didn't fit in the ear at all. decided to go back and try the AirPods Pro and honestly what you sacrifice on sound Is more than made up for with comfortability. sound is important, but in my opinion how they actually fit in your ear is much more important.
Nice video. I owned an airpod pro but I forgot to take it out from my pants and ended up washing it in the washing machine lol. It still works but sometimes, I hear static noises from my right earbud. I’m scared of it will dmg my ear and just leave it on my shelf. Right now, idk if I should get sony or another airpod pro again. The sound for airpod pro is very “meh”. Its like non in ear earbuds. The bass is barely there. So, I want to know how’s sony’s earbuds? Do you get any recent problems with it? People said that theres an “air” sound whenever you use anc on sony. I just came from that video lol. It was hard to watch. The guy legit said the app was too complicated for him to understand so it’s not worth mentioning. That’s like where the magic is for the Sony.
The airpods pro's lifespan is more or less 3years then you'd need to replace while Sony uses a replaceable ion battery so when the time comes the battery dies, you could just replace it. That enough is a huge facyor to go with Sony
Personally, now i am using the airpods pro as my daily driver, its so much more comfortable. The Sony gave me a lot of ear fatigue because of its design. Yes, the bass may not be as strong as the Sony, but overall, I'm favouring more the Airpods Pro in the long run.
Hey there, I use a comply tip with my Sony and it actually isolates noise even more. Practically shuts everything off. Comfort with the Comply foam tips are great but not for everyone. Because it goes quite deep in the ear canals. 😄 so if you enjoy in ears, those tips will be great.

@@Frisby412 the Sony is mostly staying in your ears using the eartips and a small ledge at the side of the eartips. It stays on ok, but with rigorous exercise, i don't think it'll hold as good as the apple.
@@Frisby412 comply recently just announced their foam tips for the Airpods pro. Its very good on its own already, i believe with the foam tips, it'll probably shut 90% of noises out haha 😄
Hey there, if you put it in, with noise cancellation and audio going, you practically can't hear anything. However, with most ANC earbuds, they do best when its a constant humming sound. If its sudden noises and or people talking, the volume of their conversation is reduced but doesn't fully go away. Once you have music playing, everything disappears. Hope i explain it well haha 😄
Hey Mario, i think in many ways the Sony's are much better compared to the Airpods Pro in terms of sound quality, app, controls..etc. But after using the airpods pro for a while now, its my daily driver, simply because, its smaller and way more convenient than the Sony's. Yea it lacks a little bass, but it's so easy for me to bring it around 😄
Hey there. The Sony in this case has a little wider range sound signature, the lows are deeper an the clears are crisper. However it has a feel that its electronically "enhanced", with EQs and all. The Airpods sound very organic, very balanced and very natural, bass is just sufficient. So for my pick now after using them for a while, I'll go with the Airpods Pro. 😄
The general opinion seems to be these earbuds from Sony offer the best sound of any wireless earbuds. Although I think recentely Sennheiser released a pair that sounds a bit better and beats it in most ways... but you can get Sony's for $150-$200 these days and Sennheiser's are $300 or so.

Don't agree re the mic! The voice using Apple AirPods sounds nicer, whereas with Sony it is more electrical in a way.

Haha after using the pros for a couple of months, its now my daily driver, the noise cancelling works flawlessly too, i noticed this after swapping out to the right eartips and the noise cancelling just shuts out the world. Very awesome. The Sony's are really clunky, not just the earbuds sticking out,but the case is big and difficult to put it in pockets, which is one of the reasons i don't use them too much now. So yea,good observation.

@@adamd7956 well I guess I can give a few, you know like when apple likes to put in wierd glitches and slow down your devices with ios updates, which they once was taken to court for. Oh and how most peoples IPhone 6s needed repairing after a few years because of batter or software.
@@adamd7956 but don't get me wrong, apple does some pretty descent and good quality products which I would personally own but value for money and just for certain other factors I prefer android and Sony products.
I love the Sony app. I just really dislike the buds at this point. They’re painful to wear no matter what. I can get a couple of hours out of them and then I can’t wear them for a week because they managed to bruise my ears. Multiple pads, multiple ways of wearing them, doesn’t help. Not for my ears. I’m very much looking into the AirPod Pro’s for work or travel because, even though I VASTLY prefer my over ears, I don’t want to lug my 177X Go’s with me while I’m at work.

I wish the AirPods pro fit like the galaxy buds+ because they sound pretty good and are sooo convenient. Galaxy’s sound absolutely horrible but the fit was amazing smh. AirPods are going back. If the WF-1000xm3’s are as good as the WH-1000xm3’s with the perfect fit then my search for the perfect truly wireless bud will finally be over 🤞🏾
I think the WF1000XM3 is great when u get a good seal on the eartips. It doesn't feel as spatial as the WH1000XM3, but if you get a good seal i think the ANC way surpasses the WH1000XM3. Since you get both the noise isolation and ANC.
About the AirPods Pro, now that i got it to fit me properly, its now my favourite go to earbuds, like you've said, its really convenient and small.

@@shyy87 i use Comply memory foam eartips, you squeeze them a little and let it expand into the shape of your ear canals. Essentially giving you a custom seal. Try them, they are awesome. For the Sony, i use Comply TX400 (for more isolation), or you can use Comply Trugrip pro too.
For the Airpods Pro, i use some generic memory foam tips, unfortunately, nothing from Comply yet, so I'm still waiting on that haha
@@minttt_ i didn't say the pro sounded better, wf1000xm3. If anything, like the video, the wf1000xm3 sounded miles better than the pros. But ANC, i now much prefer the Pros over the Sony's. Plus its smaller and more convenient to carry around. So the pros don't sound as good as the Sony, but at least im using them more now.

Thanks for review, I have both and they are great. AirPods so convenient, rushing out door or know I need to do mainly calls with some background music while I work it’s AirPods. Want to spend more time getting into your music but still able to make good calls if it isn’t too noisy then Sony’s. The fit in the Sony’s is extremely important like the Sennheisers. Sony should offer master classes it took me over 2 weeks to work out exactly the best way to insert but the anc and sound then is superb.

Hi there. Not sure if you could stretch ur budget a little and if you can. Get the Bose QC earbuds. But if you're between these 2, then a few things to consider. If you're in the ios ecosystem already then the Airpods Pro is great, with the new update with spatial audio, honestly I don't use any app that supports that, but sound quality is still the same. High quality but lack abit of bass. If you need something full bodied. You still can't go wrong with the Sony. But for me personally, Sony gives me major ear fatigue. 😁 hope that helps
I have both earbuds and i am a android user for the last 10 years. Sony are good for about a hour and then start hurting my ear, on the other hand apple can be worn all day long-term (all day long without any discomfort) they feel f#### awesome. This is a no brainer (air-PRO all the way).
I could attest to the ear fatigue man. Same for me. I rock the airpods pro simply for this reason. 😄

I’ve owned the Sony’s for a little over a year now and just now switched to the air pod pro’s, definitely the best thing I ever did. Yes the Sony’s are great headphones but they have given me so many problems since I’ve had them, I should also mention that I even bought a new pair thinking I possibly bought a lemon the first time but still continued to have problems, I would definitely recommend spending the extra money on the airpod pro’s!

Hey there, that's the problem i faced too. Ear fatigue. I'm currently using "Comply TX400" memory foam tips. Isolation is amazing and super comfortable. It still fits in the case, but you just need to press gently so it sits nicely inside. I'll link you to them.

got the Sony WF-SP800N's and had to return them because they where just so uncomfortable, didn't fit in the ear at all. decided to go back and try the AirPods Pro and honestly what you sacrifice on sound Is more than made up for with comfortability. sound is important, but in my opinion how they actually fit in your ear is much more important.
Nice video. I owned an airpod pro but I forgot to take it out from my pants and ended up washing it in the washing machine lol. It still works but sometimes, I hear static noises from my right earbud. I’m scared of it will dmg my ear and just leave it on my shelf. Right now, idk if I should get sony or another airpod pro again. The sound for airpod pro is very “meh”. Its like non in ear earbuds. The bass is barely there. So, I want to know how’s sony’s earbuds? Do you get any recent problems with it? People said that theres an “air” sound whenever you use anc on sony. Plus, how does it feel when you lean on your side on your pillow while wearing those earbuds? If it’s uncomfortable, I should’ve just use my over ear headphones instead

I just came from that video lol. It was hard to watch. The guy legit said the app was too complicated for him to understand so it’s not worth mentioning. That’s like where the magic is for the Sony.
The airpods pro's lifespan is more or less 3years then you'd need to replace while Sony uses a replaceable ion battery so when the time comes the battery dies, you could just replace it. That enough is a huge facyor to go with Sony

Yep I just replaced mine it's very easy snap off cap, remove 2 screws and your set to replace. OEM varta cells are about 5 - 7 bucks each

Personally, now i am using the airpods pro as my daily driver, its so much more comfortable. The Sony gave me a lot of ear fatigue because of its design. Yes, the bass may not be as strong as the Sony, but overall, I'm favouring more the Airpods Pro in the long run.

Hey there, I use a comply tip with my Sony and it actually isolates noise even more. Practically shuts everything off. Comfort with the Comply foam tips are great but not for everyone. Because it goes quite deep in the ear canals. 😄 so if you enjoy in ears, those tips will be great.

@@Frisby412 the Sony is mostly staying in your ears using the eartips and a small ledge at the side of the eartips. It stays on ok, but with rigorous exercise, i don't think it'll hold as good as the apple.
@@Frisby412 comply recently just announced their foam tips for the Airpods pro. Its very good on its own already, i believe with the foam tips, it'll probably shut 90% of noises out haha 😄

Hey there, if you put it in, with noise cancellation and audio going, you practically can't hear anything. However, with most ANC earbuds, they do best when its a constant humming sound. If its sudden noises and or people talking, the volume of their conversation is reduced but doesn't fully go away. Once you have music playing, everything disappears. Hope i explain it well haha 😄

Hey Mario, i think in many ways the Sony's are much better compared to the Airpods Pro in terms of sound quality, app, controls..etc. But after using the airpods pro for a while now, its my daily driver, simply because, its smaller and way more convenient than the Sony's. Yea it lacks a little bass, but it's so easy for me to bring it around 😄

Hey there. The Sony in this case has a little wider range sound signature, the lows are deeper an the clears are crisper. However it has a feel that its electronically "enhanced", with EQs and all. The Airpods sound very organic, very balanced and very natural, bass is just sufficient. So for my pick now after using them for a while, I'll go with the Airpods Pro. 😄
The general opinion seems to be these earbuds from Sony offer the best sound of any wireless earbuds. Although I think recentely Sennheiser released a pair that sounds a bit better and beats it in most ways... but you can get Sony's for $150-$200 these days and Sennheiser's are $300 or so.
