@@IAmTheEagleHTM hers and Aurora's. They alternate the two. It's mostly Aurora's though because Aurora has the Aniheim castle and her movie was specifically made to promote a day at Disneyland!
For real like she had a horrible life and was treated like a slave/ a servant her entire life by her mean stepmom and her mean stepsisters. She was basically trapped, but she was able to find her true love by meeting Prince Charming and he was able to save Cinder from her horrible family and her horrible life and was able to make her happy. Cinderella absolutely deserved all the happiness in the world
@@Kings0424 I know that this may be cynical and callous, but as an adult you don’t really want to feel sorry for Cinderella, because she didn’t understand that if your family doesn’t love and respect you, you don’t need to win their love and respect, because they don’t care on you and they might even kill you. She also did not understand that you need to fight back against offenders, and not be submissively silent, and in order to change your life, you need to make efforts, and not wait for it to come to you
@ilonashumiha But sometimes fighting back and get revenge is not only the best answer and besides if she did leave, where the hell is she gonna go or what other family member could she go to
@@Kings0424 She could figure out something, somewhere to go. But you MUST fight back, you must under no circumstances forgive your offenders, and it doesn’t matter who did it, a loved one or a stranger. There's no difference
What I love about Cinderella besides her compassion and kindness is that she wasn't a Disney Princess to run away from home and run away from her troubles She stayed and dealt with the bullshit her stepfamily threw at her because she knows that given the environment, it's just the sometimes the smarter approach
Everyone is doing a re-evaluation of Cinderella where they are all like "I was wrong about Cinderella" because they were brainwashed by the pop feminism criticising her as a meek pushover who just waits for a hot prince to save her being unsubtle in their approach of calling her a gold digger. I was not one of those people. Cinderella perseveres through her hardships and the abuse of her stepfamily in her own home. She maintains hope and optimism that her circumstances will change so she chooses to not give into bitterness and devote kindness to the universe. Cinderella being at the ball is about taking a change of scenery from her and she in awe of her surroundings. If we had more compassionate people in the world just like Cinderella, we could save the world from war, famine, disease and disaster.
I always have loved Cinderella. Yet, sadly as I got older I was led to believe that she was a bad role model because she didn’t leave her stepfamily. But, once I finally learned what abuse meant. I started thinking, “Well, why are people giving Cinderella an awfully hard time then? Sorry, Cinderella.”😢
People take things too literally nowadays. Cinderella getting the prince in the end represents the moral : stay strong, don't grow bitter, don't lose hope, and things will get better. Someone else can explain this idea better, but everyone takes it so literally when the prince just represents the prize for Cinderella gets for being good even through bad times when she had every right to become bitter
She’s always been my favorite. To keep her faith and goodness inside her despite the abuse and odds against her. I love the original animated and the Lily James live action. Animated version simply wanting to escape the horrible situation to have one peaceful night at the ball, or wanting to see Kit in the live action and enjoy a lovely evening with him. She’s a symbol, cliche as it may be: there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. And you can make it through the hardest situations and to keep goodness inside you no matter how dark life can get. And her dress is my favorite Disney Princess! The live action version is so beautiful!
Cinderella is someone I could never be. I also come from an abusive household and I commend her for continuing to be able to keep being kind and true to herself. It's something I'll never have again.
Finally someone who knows the truth ! Cinderella has been my favorite Disney Princess since I was a little kid. She was able to find happiness and stay strong despite living at an abusive place and facing tragedies like the death of her parents at such a young age. No wonder why she was Walt’s favorite character (if I’m not mistaken) too. And if the first movie already shows how she is a great character, in the third one she is a badass. I love Cinderella 3.
She’s a special character indeed. One could say It’s beautifully uplifting to some peeps who’ve been in terrible family situations. The story of hope, not giving it up so easily is a powerful one. It’s not just about the fairytale romance and the adorable talking mice. It’s also about the most powerful feeling in the world: Hope.
I think one major reason that could assert Cinderella having the status of the Best Disney Princess is that she was Walt Disney’s personal favorite princess and the one he related to the most since his life story was almost similar to hers with having to climb his way up from his impoverished background to become the influential animator pioneer and innovator we know him today and persevered really hard to accomplish it despite many obstacles and moments of failure.
Cinderella has courage and kindness. She was raised by her evil stepmother, yet she never let her kind nature get away from her. Cinderella is often considered the "leader" of the Disney Princesses, having often been positioned in the center of publicity photos. There has been some controversy, however, because she is the second Disney Princess, after Snow White. Some feel that Snow White should be the leader, simply because she was the protagonist of Disney's first full-length feature film, and was introduced to the world 13 years before Cinderella, although others feel that Cinderella's assertiveness, even in her first film, and coping with her abusive upbringing, along with her even greater capacity for forgiveness, gave her more potential to be leader. Despite these arguments, both Snow White and Cinderella's films have been credited for saving Walt Disney's company from bankruptcy in the 1930s and 1950s respectively。
Out of the early era princesses, I would agree (although I also really love Aurora despite her not having much dialogue), but I'd still say Belle and Mulan are at the top of the list, based on their personalities and character development.
I’m surprised I never once thought of that despite knowing that Cinderella actually never waited for the prince. The Fairy Godmother did indeed save her! EEP!🤩
When one think about it Aurora does get to have a bit of a personality for us. 1. She is a nature lover and music lover. Totally would be a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff if she went to Hogwarts. 2. She knows how to clean showing to be self-reliance on some level. 3. She knew the fairies were planning something on her birthday but played along showing she is patient and playful. 4. She found a loophole to meet up with Philip again without breaking her "aunts" rule right on the spot. Sure, she didn't know about a "little" secret but considering the fairies seem to be overall lenient with her outside of not going far and not talking to strangers, she figured it was a good compromise. 5. She finds out she's a princess, her "aunts" are really fairies, her parents are alive and she is going to be Queen to a huge kingdom (which doesn't help with the fact that she never been around other people before) all in just few hours. Oh, and the only stranger that she ever knew, she can't meet again since she is betrothed to supposedly someone else. She is so confused and upset. However, what do she do? She still goes back to her birth home out of duty and obedience. She may not knew it yet, but she is actually showing a early example of being a great future ruler by putting others first before herself. 6. She almost actually turned away from the spindle wheel just because she heard Merryweather yelled to not touch anything. Despite everything she still trusts the fairies to the point she was trying to fight back. Considering that this spell was unbreakable and Aurora is a normal naive young girl the fact that she was able to fight back at least a second was completely awesome. She must got more will-power than what many people thinks. 7. When she wakes up she is able to do a ballroom dance and be formal hinting that the fairies secretly were training her during her childhood for this without her knowing. They likely taught her writing, reading, the stars, basic math, nature, dancing and music. They weren't letting her go in blind despite her not realizing it. 8. She forgives her parents for giving her away understanding that they did it out of love and it is clear that they (along with Philip and Hubert) are all on their way to be a very happy family. 9. In a later short, Aurora learns to be a good future leader though her mistakes and wanting to make her family and friends proud of her. Maybe you can do a video about her as well?
I fully agree with the sentiment of how more people should be more like Cinderella, I've been saying for a while that if you can do good things for others, then you have a moral obligation to do those things, I wish more people would live by that sentimant
“Cause that’s an argument you can’t win against me” lol 😂 respect the confidence. P.S. Glad someone else understands how powerful & amazing Cinderella is.
I've grown to like Cinderella. She's sympathetic, relatable, and genuine. So, you want to root for her to get her happy ending. But, there are other Disney Princesses I prefer more; Jasmine for her stronger and fun personality, Elsa for being tragically misunderstood, Belle for her smarts and genuine heart, Tiana for being down to earth and realistic, Anna since I relate to her the most, and Ariel for her active edge (a trait from the character I never saw coming).
Cinderella is not my favorite Disney princess (that title goes to Rapunzel), but I do agree how great of a character she is that the impact she had on society now and back then. Truly, if only people had the same determination and courage to be kind like her...
Before the princesses appeared in 3D animation, my favorites were Cinderella, Tiana and Mulan. Cinderella, because how she in a way remains strong in the face of her stepmother's abuse without it affecting her kind heart, that's why she inspires me. (I'm glad that neither the sequels nor liveaction took away the essence of his character) And yes, I like how you say that sequel 3 added something more: she always helps others, but now she could also go for what she wanted. 5:04 and also like you said, her personality of Cinderella matches the quality of Walt Disney 5:39 and yes, so I think they should rewrite the Disney woman protagonists, in a balanced way
You could argue Cinderella does have magical abilities in a way, though. She can communicate with non-human animals on a level that isn’t possible in real life.
Snow White and Cinderella both had to deal with losing their parents, being abused by those who supposed to be looking out for them and got kicked out of their rightful status. Meanwhile, Aurora had to adapt to a whole new lifestyle and a role that she didn't know she had to played along with getting to know the parents that she never got to grew up with. Prince Florian I believes was giving her a goodbye kiss and is shown to be kind, romantic and a music lover like Snow White. Prince Charming fell in love with Cinderella because she hung out with him without knowing he was the prince. Philip and Aurora's parents were friends with each other meaning the two would had grown up together as children if Aurora wasn't sent away for her safety. Also what is wrong with men and females relying on each other for different things? That how and why we were made for each other. For our different strengths and roles.
Cinderella has always been my favorite Disney princess. Even as a little girl before I started really respecting her for who she is I loved her the most. Cinderella is perfect as an animated character AND as a live action character (which pretty much hasn’t happened since) Cinderella is a beautiful film and a beautiful character. She is someone who is treated terribly by her stepfamily, constantly being abused and mocked. She loses both of her parents before she even leaves her teens. She lives through hell but she still has hope, courage, patience, endurance and kindness. She is beautiful outside but especially on the inside. She treats everyone with kindness and patience whether they treat her well or not. She stays true to herself no matter how hard her life gets. She wants to go to the ball to get away from her abuse not so she can get a prince to save her. Whether with the original cartoon or the live action she genuinely falls in love with the prince and he genuinely falls in love with her especially with the live action remake. They genuinely like each other and bond over the loss of their parents as well as both wanting to be good people in the face of challenges and fear. Cinderella is and probably always will be my favorite Disney princess and maybe even my favorite Disney character ever. She is awesome. I hate that people pick on her for being “weak” when in reality she might be the strongest Disney princess there is 🩵
I like Ariel, Mulan (I don’t like to consider her a Princess that’s just Disney), Tiana, and Rapunzel a lot more, mostly as characters, but I remember as a kid and even now how horrible I felt Cinderella get treated. They really hammered home the terrible situation this character was in and I can imagine for many, it’s a very relatable and grounded basis for the character.
I wouldn't call her the best Disney princess....but I will definitely say she is THE DISNEY PRINCESS, as even Snow White as important as she is, I think Cinderella is when the disney princess formula begins, she is the mould and foundation in which all Disney princess be someway inspired to be as role models and that is why when ever many think in the traditional Disney Princess....I think even before you think Belle or Ariel, your mind always goes to Cinderella and that's why she is THE Princess.
Cinderella is definitely one of my favourites! Many of the feminists who criticise Cinderella for not being a girl boss or strong willed forget that the 1950 film was Female centric! The Protagonist (Cinderella) is Female and the Antagonists (Lady Tremaine and the Stepsisters) are Female! In fact as far as the Males go, for the humans, the King and Duke are portrayed as idiots and the Prince hardly has any lines, in fact the Males with the biggest roles are Jaq and Gus who are Mice! Cinderella, being an abuse victim shows strength through perseverance, which is why she's an amazing character! Also Cinderella never went to the ball for the Prince (as most say she did) she went to the ball for a night off and to have fun.
I feel so bad I've dismissed the vintage disney princesses in the past because they all have underrated strengths- Cinderella in particular. Not everybody could be that kind in those circumstances and the 2015 version in particular does a good job of explaining why she stays and showing a quiet intelligence and awareness of what's going on around her. What one fan said in particular has really stayed with me - that a big reason Cinderella stays is wanting to protect and find a better future for her animal friends who are basically like family, though I think she also hopes her stepfamily will have a wake up call and act more like family to her as well. In one of the sequels, she also shows kindness, generosity and forgiveness to one of the stepsisters, which is huge given how the stepsister once treated her, and the third sequel does a good job of showing a strength that I think was always there, it just took certain circumstances to bring it out ❤
The best princess with no bad media. The original is still iconic, the first sequel is passable and didn’t do any characters wrong, and the second sequel just took off. Plus it has the best live action remake (I liked The Jungle Book and Lady and the Tramp remakes a bit more, but it’s a close tie). Even the chibi tiny tale and “told by emoji” wasn’t bad (the chibi tiny tale of Moana was bad, and the remake and sequel sadly has no promise). Even Once Upon a Studio (which should have been a movie) gave us fun scenes with the characters (the shoe by the stairs and the “don’t eat those”).
I even made a sequel fic for if a fourth had ever been made that reformed Drizella by having Cindy & Christopher's kid do Elf and Shoemaker with a little help from Danny Darling-Slight (because Slightly is who Wendy is presumed to have married ultimately instead of Peter as Peter's more interested in their daughter Jane and vice-versa.) as I headcanon that eventually Wendy grew up to be the Fairygodmother and bring a "slightly more sensible yet somewhat rule-free" alternative to the chaos in Neverland.
I also love Snow White, Moana and Raya! But I’ve been a fan of Cinderella since I was little! She and Snow White are my favorite hand drawn Disney features! The 2015 live action meanwhile is the best of the bunch. Anybody loves a good rags to riches story. But as a 90’s baby, the Cinderella of my generation was when Brandy wore the glass slippers
In the realm of Disney Princesses quite a few stand out as being incredibly special and important. Cinderella is certainly up there, I love her and I easily put her in the top tier, however I think three others overshadow her in my opinion. Belle. If we're going to talk about being in an abusive situation, you can't get much worse than being first stalked by a town tyrant, then kidnapped by an apparent monster. For Belle, being able to make the absolute best out of that situation, she saw what everyone else could not see: the cruelty in the handsome Gaston, and the soul in the eyes of the Beast. That took a great deal of wisdom and kindness and strong character in her part. And unlike most princesses that just fall for a prince on first meeting, Belle wanted a friend and developed a real relationship before falling in love. Plus Beauty and the Beast really kicked off the Disney Renaissance even more than Little Mermaid and was the first time an animated picture was nominated for Best Picture of the Year, long before animation got it's own awards category. Truly helping to cement animation as the visual medium we know today. Tiana. Adversity, following your dreams, being held back by your peers, and by society as a whole. Tiana faced waaay more than most other Disney Princesses. Interestingly, she falls in the category of heroic, (and oddly ethnic) Disney Princesses, right up there with Mulan and Pocahontas, as they all faced real world hatred and systemic opposition. Where Cindy is forced to work by her family, Tiana chooses to work for her dream, and her dream is... more work! A business of her own, not a fancy ball or pretty dress, she's literally working for her future, never losing sight of that goal... until she meets Naveen. Tiana didn't dream of love, she realized she had to give up her dream, for love. Where Cindy was adamant about believing in her dreams, Tiana learned what she needed was something real. If that alone were not enough, Tiana is also the hero, she defeated Dr. Facilier and sent him back to the Other Side! Not too many princesses actually get the chance to defeat the villain. Snow White. Her character is definitely a bit more demure and not nearly as strong as Cindy, but one cannot help but compare the two when it comes to their struggles. Evil stepmother, has to clean everything, met a prince that they can't get back to, stays gentle and kind even in the face of terrible abuse, their stories are practically identical. The big difference here is... Snow White had to DIE to get her happy ending. As bad as Cindy's stepfamily is, they never tried to actually KILL her, and Snow White's stepmother did. And we cannot ignore the simple fact that... Snow White was the first. She was the little princess that started a huge legacy. Hers was the first animated film ever made and it set the precedence for every animated film since, not just Disney but for the entire industry. We would never have had Cindy, or Tiana, or Belle or any of them, if not for Snow White. She will forever be immortalized as "The fairest of them all."
My only beef with the live action was that they didn’t give Cindy her gloves, and even then she looks beautiful. Her dress does look like Bell’s in blue though
@@0deadx21 I get that but I mean, that her outfit looks like Bell’s in blue you know? Then the live action Bell’s dress was kinda boring. Also both of them having gloves goes back to the married into royalty tell tale like Tiana’s outfit. Still though Cinderella looked amazing in the live action. I love both. I also love the Rodger and Hammerstein movie with Brandy and Whitney. It’s a great story
@@ChloeCrismon I've never seen a live-action _Cinderella_ movie where the story is taken seriously until _Cinderella_ (2015) came along. Coincidently it's the only live-action _Cinderella_ film I remember everything about.

What make me shocked is people criticizing a character from a movie for not being “feminist” or a model for young girls, excuse me ? Are you talking about a girl who has talking rats as friends ? A girl who lives in 1870-1880 France, a girl that had a fairy good mother that made her a carriage from a pumpkin, a girl that had a dress made by rats and birds?? Seriously I think who wants to criticize Cinderella to not be adequate for modern concepts needs psychiatric help, that’s beyond disgusting, I watched Cinderella countless times as a child, and she end up marry a prince is absolutely nothing relevant and magical, SHE HAD A DRESS MADE BY ANIMALS, A FAIRY to help her, what kind of race to the bottom we reach, all this criticism is so stupid, is like asking why Goku from Dragon ball Z will make boys tend to use steroids , or saying Naruto will make kids fail in class because he doesn’t like to study, or even blame Ash for pokemon to encourage kids to not grow up since he doesn’t age 🤡🤡🤡
Hard pass as I prefer Anna who actually started as a princess in the first movie and became queen at the end of the second movie. I do love her personality and her sense of fashion with her poofy dresses.
I just hope that in the movie of Shrek 5, once Disney buys DreamWorks, all The Official Disney Princes and all The Official Disney Princesses appear, especially the most important character in the movie of The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea, Melody, The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, with her best friends Zephyr, Tip, Dash, Kiera and Catalina, and besides, they will be the new main characters of the movie of Shrek 5 so that they help Shrek, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Dragon, Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, Perrito, Dulcinea, The Three Diablos, Goldilocks, The Three Bears, Prince Lancelot, Princess Tiffany, King Artie, Princess Guinevere, The Children of Shrek and Princess Fiona: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, The Children of Donkey and Dragon: Bananas, Parfait, Peanut, Tremaine, Captain Hook, Hades, Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Marina del Rey, Ursula, Gaston LeGume, Jafar, John Ratcliffe, Shan Yu, Yzma, Dr. Facilier, Zhan Tiri, Judge Claude Frollo, Mother Gothel, Tamatoa, Drago Bludvist, Grimmel The Grisly, Mor'du, King Runeard, Prince Hans, Pitch Black, Dr. Zara, Queen Nerissa, King Magnifico, Rapunzel (Shrek) and Morgana, and to prevent Rumpelstiltskin, Death, all The Official Villains of Disney and all The Official Villains of DreamWorks from ruling and destroying all The Multiverse Forever, especially The Kingdom of Far Far Away, Shrek along with his wife named Princess Fiona will need help from their new friends which are all The Official Disney Princes and all The Official Disney Princesses, as Prince Florian, Princess Snow White, Prince and Melody, but actually, Melody is The First and Only that she is not a True Official Disney Princess, because Melody made her debut in the movie of The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea and it is also because she is The First and Only Daughter of an Official Disney Princess, but Shrek, Princess Fiona, Donkey, Dragon, Puss in Boots, Kitty Softpaws, Perrito, Dulcinea, The Three Diablos, Goldilocks, The Three Bears, Prince Lancelot, Princess Tiffany, King Artie, Princess Guinevere, The Children of Shrek and Princess Fiona: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, The Children of Donkey and Dragon: Bananas, Parfait, Peanut, Eclair, Coco and Debbie and The Others also need Melody's help to protect and save all The Multiverse, especially Their Kingdom of Far Far Away away from Rumpelstiltskin, Death, all The Official Villains of Disney and all The Official Villains of DreamWorks, because Melody is The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, but also The Death of Queen Lillian, because since her husband named King Harold passed away in the movie of Shrek 3, she has felt heartbroken and that caused her own death in her Kingdom of Far Far Away, and all The Inhabitants of The Kingdom of Far Far Away are saddened by The Death of Queen Lillian, because now she is with her husband named King Harold in heaven, and now they have lost their queen, that means now The Kingdom of Far Far Away needs a new queen and King Artie said that his love interest, girlfriend, fiancée and former classmate from Worcestershire school called Princess Guinevere would be the one to be The New Queen of Far Far Away, so King Artie decided to return to his old school called Worcestershire along with Shrek, with his older cousin Princess Fiona, with Donkey, with Dragon, with Puss in Boots, with Kitty Softpaws, with Perrito, with Dulcinea, with The Three Diablos, with Goldilocks, with The Three Bears, with The Children of Shrek and Princess Fiona: Fergus, Farkle and Felicia, with The Children of Cassandra, The Romance of Starboy and Princess Asha, The Romance of Prince Lancelot and Princess Tiffany and The Romance of King Artie and Princess Guinevere, because I think that Maui will be Queen Moana Waialiki's love interest, boyfriend and fiancé, while Hiccup Haddock will be Princess Merida's love interest and boyfriend, Princess Tiffany will be Prince Lancelot's love interest, girlfriend and fiancée and Princess Guinevere will be King Artie's love interest, girlfriend and fiancée, because Queen Moana Waialiki is going to fall in love with Maui, Princess Merida is going to fall in love Hiccup Haddock, Princess Tiffany is going to fall in love with Prince Lancelot and Princess Guinevere is going to fall in love with King Artie, but they don't know how to tell them their feelings towards them and neither how to win their hearts, because every time Queen Moana Waialiki gets too close to Maui when it comes to true love, she gets very nervous with him, while which in the case of Princess Merida is also the same, because whenever Princess Merida gets too close to Hiccup Haddock when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous with him, in the case of Princess Tiffany it is also the same, because whenever Princess Tiffany gets too close to Prince Lancelot when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, and in the case of Princess Guinevere too, because every time Princess Guinevere gets too close to King Artie when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, but luckily for them, Princess Fiona will help Queen Moana Waialiki to win The Heart of Maui, also Princess Merida to win The Heart of Hiccup Haddock, also Princess Tiffany to win The Heart of Prince Lancelot and also Princess Guinevere to win The Heart of King Artie, and I also want that Jack Frost will be Princess Elsa's love interest and boyfriend and Varian will be Cassandra's love interest and boyfriend, because Jack Frost leaves fall in love with Princess Elsa, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Jack Frost gets too close to Princess Elsa when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, because Varian leaves fall in love with Cassandra, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Varian gets too close to Cassandra when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, but fortunately for they, Shrek will help Jack Frost to win The Heart of Princess Elsa and also Varian to win The Heart of Cassandra, except Melody, The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, because she doesn't need a love interest, but also The Rivalry of King Artie and Queen Anna because they both want to compete in a challenge to see who is The Best Ruler of a Kingdom, because both want to do what is best for Their Own Kingdom, because King Artie wants to do the best for his Kingdom of Far Far Away because now he is The New King of Far Far Away and Queen Anna wants to do the best for her Kingdom of Arendelle because now she is The New Queen of Arendelle, but at the end, King Artie and Queen Anna become best friends in the world, because at the end, they both learned from their mistakes that they have made since their challenge to compete to see who is the best ruler of a Kingdom, and that at the end, King Artie and Princess Guinevere see their first true love kiss and that they become a romantic couple, just like Prince Lancelot and Princess Tiffany, and also that at the end of the movie of Shrek 5, Shrek becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princes and Maui, Hiccup Haddock, Kristoff Bjorgman, Jack Frost, Varian, Jin, Connor, The Baker, Starboy, Mateo, Prince Desmond, Prince James, Prince Hugo, Prince Lancelot and King Artie become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princes, while Princess Fiona becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princesses and Queen Anna, Princess Elsa, Cassandra, Yi, Ruby Gillman, Anastasia Tremaine, Princess Asha, Queen Elena, Princess Amber, Princess Isabel, Princess Sofia, Goldilocks, Namaari, The Other Six Princesses of The Kingdom of Atlantica, Princess Tiffany and Princess Guinevere become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princesses and that one day, Princess Tiffany will be The Wife of Prince Lancelot and that they have a family in the future, and that also Princess Guinevere is The Wife of King Artie, that they also have a family and that she becomes The New Queen of Far Far Away in The Future.
I'm from Germany and I think that's the biggest reason, why I never really liked Disney's Cinderella. Disney's Cinderella is flst and boring, her character is one-dimensional, the Disney story ripped off the most interesting parts of it. The life action movie is better, but still ... just nice, not upstanding. In Germany we prefer another Cinderella, from 1973. She is adventurous, brave, active, her relationship with the prince is more nuanced, she challenged him and he felt in love for her courage, witt - and her great hunting skills. Right-wing men would cry us a river about the "woke propaganda today" 😬 I'm speaking about this: Three Wishes for Cinderella (Czech: Tři oříšky pro Popelku; German: Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel, also called in English Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella or Three Gifts for Cinderella) is a 1973 Czechoslovak-East German film based on the fairy-tale Cinderella. It's still a very popular movie, a lot of families watch it every year during the christmas holidays. Disney's Cinderella couldn't stand with the Czechoslovak version. Disney's Cinderella was in my opinion always the boringst Disney Princess.
Can you do a video of why the trueman show is terrible and anyways illumiantion locked steamboat Willie with a minoin I can’t link it but you look at it on youtube
This is why I will always say Ever After is not the best(not the worst, Amazon fixed that problem) Cinderella adaptation. She has kindness at times, but is more of a rough and tumble feminist so I couldn’t really connect to her as Cinderella. Also the issue with the animals being a major focus in the original, was the same issue with Leonardo de Vinci in that movie.

The initial ten would have ended with Esmeralda to keep the tradition of ending on a vowel sound...so that would be Cinderella-Belle-Snow White-Ariel-Aurora-Jasmine-Pocahontas-Mulan-Tinkerbell-Esmeralda. Today if such a melody were used it would go Cinderella-Belle-Snow White-Ariel-Aurora-Jasmine-Pocahontas-Mulan-Rapunzel-Merida-Raya-Moana-Tiana.
@@tyronewashington7074 still wouldn't have happened without Cinderella and Ariel proving that the type of story and formula could be done. Cinderella is the transition princess between the "amusement park show" of Aurora, and the condensed, but still accurate book adaptation of Snow White by being half-book/half-stage play in it's adaptation. You can see elements of what would lead to Ariel and Belle within Cinderella...such as the big catchy songs, transformations, rescuing herself at the last minute and not even realizing she's with the prince until way later...and she wasn't even looking for love, just a night off and love happened on her night off. Remember while Walt had plans for Ariel, Kuzco, Elsa & Anna and Belle's stories in his day...he never really went anywhere with them outside of a package film narratted by a live action actor telling kids the HCA stories...and Belle's was considered...somewhat bland because how do you make something that is quite literally a Cinderella clone not so much of one? (The original story is pretty much one, but the flip side.) Ariel introduced the idea of active heroines in a Broadway Fairytale Musical and before Paige O'Hara was cast...they were considering having Jodi return as Belle..it was just that when they realized the civillian Belle model looked more like Francis Gumm and their adaptation had some Wizard of Oz elements that they decided to cast Paige O'Hara instead...because "she sounds like Dorothy Gale".

Beautiful ❤😢
Cinderella is not just the best Disney Princess, but she is THE Disney Princess.
Yeah, Belle is my favorite, but I cannot deny the impact of Cinderella on Disney as a whole.
The castle in the background is the Disney castle after all
Yes, she is. I like Belle the most, but Cinder is THE princess
@@IAmTheEagleHTM hers and Aurora's. They alternate the two. It's mostly Aurora's though because Aurora has the Aniheim castle and her movie was specifically made to promote a day at Disneyland!
I really hate how many people write-off Cinderella and misunderstand her character so completely. She is a star!
I prefer the 2015 version as she wears my favorite ballgown in movies
What I love about Cinderella besides her compassion and kindness is that she wasn't a Disney Princess to run away from home and run away from her troubles
She stayed and dealt with the bullshit her stepfamily threw at her because she knows that given the environment, it's just the sometimes the smarter approach
Cinderella was my favorite princess growing up, and she still is to this day. She'll always have a special place in my heart
I started thinking,
“Well, why are people giving Cinderella an awfully hard time then? Sorry, Cinderella.”😢
People take things too literally nowadays. Cinderella getting the prince in the end represents the moral : stay strong, don't grow bitter, don't lose hope, and things will get better. Someone else can explain this idea better, but everyone takes it so literally when the prince just represents the prize for Cinderella gets for being good even through bad times when she had every right to become bitter
Coincidentally, Cinderella (2015) is still the best Disney live action remake to this day!
🙏🏻
Finally someone who knows the truth !
Cinderella has been my favorite Disney Princess since I was a little kid. She was able to find happiness and stay strong despite living at an abusive place and facing tragedies like the death of her parents at such a young age.
No wonder why she was Walt’s favorite character (if I’m not mistaken) too.
And if the first movie already shows how she is a great character, in the third one she is a badass. I love Cinderella 3.
Those mice Jak n gus are goats too 🩵
She’s a special character indeed.
Cinderella is the perfect example of a strong and kind character, and that's why she's my favorite
Snow White, Cinderella and Ariel all did that.
Shes great at animated version AND live action version. THANK GOD.
Definitely hope a future Disney princess emulates her. It'd be perfect for a fairy tale, ie a Swan Lake or Rumplestiltskin adaptation.
Out of the early era princesses, I would agree (although I also really love Aurora despite her not having much dialogue), but I'd still say Belle and Mulan are at the top of the list, based on their personalities and character development.
I completely agree she's by far one of my favorite Disney princesses 💙
_Cinderella_ (2015) has become one of my favorite films. It's a masterpiece.
She's always been my favorite princess!! Also the live action was so good!! THE DRESS a chef's kiss!
Yeah, she's totally the best one!

It’s funny that people say it’s all about a man saving her when she’s actually saved by another woman.
I’m surprised I never once thought of that despite knowing that Cinderella actually never waited for the prince.
The Fairy Godmother did indeed save her! EEP!🤩
@@andreasmeelie1889Oh my God...
You're fuckin' right!
@@andreasmeelie1889 if you think about it though, Cinderella actually saves herself by having the spare.
Cinderella has a special place in my heart. She’s my dad’s favorite princess ! I had it on VSH and oh boy did we watched it !
Finally some Cinderella appreciation
Elsa is just a bad character. There’s no way she’s better than Cindy.
Cinderella is not my favorite Disney princess (that title goes to Rapunzel), but I do agree how great of a character she is that the impact she had on society now and back then. Truly, if only people had the same determination and courage to be kind like her...
Its totally fine if Cinderella is not your fav but at least give her respect to her name
@@CottageDreams23 exactly!!!
Before the princesses appeared in 3D animation, my favorites were Cinderella, Tiana and Mulan. Cinderella, because how she in a way remains strong in the face of her stepmother's abuse without it affecting her kind heart, that's why she inspires me. (I'm glad that neither the sequels nor liveaction took away the essence of his character)
And yes, I like how you say that sequel 3 added something more: she always helps others, but now she could also go for what she wanted.
5:04 and also like you said, her personality of Cinderella matches the quality of Walt Disney
5:39 and yes, so I think they should rewrite the Disney woman protagonists, in a balanced way
You could argue Cinderella does have magical abilities in a way, though. She can communicate with non-human animals on a level that isn’t possible in real life.
I always liked Jasmin the most.
Reasons of why she is my fave!
In one of the sequels, she also shows kindness, generosity and forgiveness to one of the stepsisters, which is huge given how the stepsister once treated her, and the third sequel does a good job of showing a strength that I think was always there, it just took certain circumstances to bring it out ❤
Cinderella is my favorite Disney Princess, Disney Princess movie, and my favorite Disney movie overall.
I also love Snow White, Moana and Raya & The Last Dragon
I mean she's literally going from rags to riches. 😂
Cinderella is my favorite princess. But Rapunzel is really great too.
I grew to love Rapunzel more after the TV show
The best princess with no bad media.

I love Cinderella
My only beef with the live action was that they didn’t give Cindy her gloves, and even then she looks beautiful. Her dress does look like Bell’s in blue though
One of Cinderella's traits is simplicity. She doesn't need gloves and jewelry to stand out. A beautiful hairstyle and dress is all it takes.
@@0deadx21 I get that but I mean, that her outfit looks like Bell’s in blue you know? Then the live action Bell’s dress was kinda boring.

Hiccup Haddock, Princess Tiffany is going to fall in love with Prince Lancelot and Princess Guinevere is going to fall in love with King Artie, but they don't know how to tell them their feelings towards them and neither how to win their hearts, because every time Queen Moana Waialiki gets too close to Maui when it comes to true love, she gets very nervous with him, while which in the case of Princess Merida is also the same, because whenever Princess Merida gets too close to Hiccup Haddock when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous with him, in the case of Princess Tiffany it is also the same, because whenever Princess Tiffany gets too close to Prince Lancelot when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, and in the case of Princess Guinevere too, because every time Princess Guinevere gets too close to King Artie when it comes to true love, she also gets very nervous around him, but luckily for them, Princess Fiona will help Queen Moana Waialiki to win The Heart of Maui, also Princess Merida to win The Heart of Hiccup Haddock, also Princess Tiffany to win The Heart of Prince Lancelot and also Princess Guinevere to win The Heart of King Artie, and I also want that Jack Frost will be Princess Elsa's love interest and boyfriend and Varian will be Cassandra's love interest and boyfriend, because Jack Frost leaves fall in love with Princess Elsa, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Jack Frost gets too close to Princess Elsa when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, because Varian leaves fall in love with Cassandra, but he doesn't know how to tell her his feelings and how to win her heart, because every time Varian gets too close to Cassandra when it comes to true love, he gets very nervous with her, but fortunately for they, Shrek will help Jack Frost to win The Heart of Princess Elsa and also Varian to win The Heart of Cassandra, except Melody, The Daughter of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, because she doesn't need a love interest, but also The Rivalry of King Artie and Queen Anna because they both want to compete in a challenge to see who is The Best Ruler of a Kingdom, because both want to do what is best for Their Own Kingdom, because King Artie wants to do the best for his Kingdom of Far Far Away because now he is The New King of Far Far Away and Queen Anna wants to do the best for her Kingdom of Arendelle because now she is The New Queen of Arendelle, but at the end, King Artie and Queen Anna become best friends in the world, because at the end, they both learned from their mistakes that they have made since their challenge to compete to see who is the best ruler of a Kingdom, and that at the end, King Artie and Princess Guinevere see their first true love kiss and that they become a romantic couple, just like Prince Lancelot and Princess Tiffany, and also that at the end of the movie of Shrek 5, Shrek becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princes and Maui, Hiccup Haddock, Kristoff Bjorgman, Jack Frost, Varian, Jin, Connor, The Baker, Starboy, Mateo, Prince Desmond, Prince James, Prince Hugo, Prince Lancelot and King Artie become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princes, while Princess Fiona becomes The New Leader of The Official Disney Princesses and Queen Anna, Princess Elsa, Cassandra, Yi, Ruby Gillman, Anastasia Tremaine, Princess Asha, Queen Elena, Princess Amber, Princess Isabel, Princess Sofia, Goldilocks, Namaari, The Other Six Princesses of The Kingdom of Atlantica, Princess Tiffany and Princess Guinevere become The New Official Members of The Official Disney Princesses and that one day, Princess Tiffany will be The Wife of Prince Lancelot and that they have a family in the future, and that also Princess Guinevere is The Wife of King Artie, that they also have a family and that she becomes The New Queen of Far Far Away in The Future.
Nice Video, even I believe that Belle is the definitive Disney Princess,Cinderella is a good one as well.
Right-wing men would cry us a river about the "woke propaganda today" 😬
I'm speaking about this:
Three Wishes for Cinderella (Czech: Tři oříšky pro Popelku; German: Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel, also called in English Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella or Three Gifts for Cinderella) is a 1973 Czechoslovak-East German film based on the fairy-tale Cinderella.
What about Why The Good Dinosaur is Awful?
This is why I will always say Ever After is not the best(not the worst, Amazon fixed that problem) Cinderella adaptation. She has kindness at times, but is more of a rough and tumble feminist so I couldn’t really connect to her as Cinderella. Also the issue with the animals being a major focus in the original, was the same issue with Leonardo de Vinci in that movie.
Nah, Belle & Tiana are the best
Ok no one cares
Belle from Beauty And The Beast is the best Disney Princess not Cinderella.
Stay mad 😂
@@CottageDreams23 I'm speaking the truth, Also Belle 📚 🌹 👗💃 is the most attractive Disney Princess 🏰 👸 of them all and she is soooo lovely and dreamy 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💙💙💙💙💙💙💙.
@@tyronewashington7074 you wouldn't have Belle without Cinderella.
It's even mentioned in the earliest of Disney Princess commericals with the melody of how the 4 who made the most impact go.
Cinderella-Belle-Snow White-Ariel. Expand the melody notes in the standard six to be like this Cinderella-Belle-Snow White-Ariel-Aurora-Jasmine...and the Excellent Eight would go like this
Cinderella-Belle-Snow White-Ariel-Aurora-Jasmine-Pocahontas-Mulan.
@@Superlad9494 But Belle 📚 🌹 💙 👗 is just sooooo heroic in her own way.
(The original story is pretty much one, but the flip side.)
Ariel introduced the idea of active heroines in a Broadway Fairytale Musical and before Paige O'Hara was cast...they were considering having Jodi return as Belle..it was just that when they realized the civillian Belle model looked more like Francis Gumm and their adaptation had some Wizard of Oz elements that they decided to cast Paige O'Hara instead...because "she sounds like Dorothy Gale".
You hate Mulan. Racist
Nah. Sorry. Nothing will convince me that Jasmine is not the best.
Boo hoo stay mad 😊😂
