yes people love them! You can fill them with other thins like granola bars, or chapstick, etc. Whatever the recipient likes that's small enough to fit in the cellophane :)
I'm trying to make a money lei for my grand daughter S high school graduation. Her little sister is graduating from 8th grade. I might make her one of these. Adorable!
Hi Becky! A money lei is awesome! The fan-fold one is the easiest but it is hard to wear on your neck because it is bulky. You can also put other things besides candy in the lei like lipgloss or any of your grand-daughters favorite things that are smaller. :) Id love to see a pic of yours!
Hi Elly, I bought my tubing in Hawaii but yo can use cellophane and make a tube, or I just saw a new product on ebay if you search candy lei tubing. It is clear plastic tubes. Dollar Tree usually has cellophane in different colors too. Hope that helps!
