Jamila: We all love your show and you - even guys like me. Can you do some videos on etiquette for men - specifically on dressing, shirts outside the trousers, etc
I love how you say “France”. I also appreciate how you picked examples of both men and women. This is a well done video that I’d not been able to watch before. Glad I saw now! This was actually very useful. I did not know about holding the purse on the left hand. But that makes total sense. I’ll be doing that now. Thank you 🙏
Jamila, please accept my gratitude for this video. Cultural awareness is extremely important and following cultural etiquette is the best way to show respect towards a culture. It's wonderful to see such positive comments on this video. You have done a fantastic job of creating awareness around the importance of etiquette in a time when callous behaviour has been glorified by visual media. I absolutely love the tone of your voice and I look forward to new videos on your channel. Although you have mentioned that you will consider making a video on the topic of etiquette for men, I would like to add to that request and implore that you consider it strongly. It is much needed to counter the effects of toxic masculinity. Thank you once again and I wish you a wonderful day ahead.
If people - in general - accepted that following rules cause no harm, they would realize that, on the contrary, they make any sort of social contact easier and more pleasant. Therefore, the world would certainly be a more agreeable place to live in!! :))
Thank you for providing high quality and educational content for your viewers. I would be interested in a video about etiquette if one is interacting with members of the diplomatic corps or a video on the basics of diplomacy. 😊
Etiquettes are most important part in our life .when we follow it so we gain success .so thanks for this because you provide us ladder of success. Thanks a lot ❤️

Lovely video, Jamila. Thank you very much. As already commented by one of your followers, it was the queen of the Netherlands with the beautiful but unsuitable dress. This is a negligible mistake compared to the loads of invaluable information you share with us in your videos. Greetings from NL
I came for this comment 😅 Thank you for stating it. The first lady at that time was wearing the dark dress in that picture, very appropriate from my understanding ❤️

Was I was the Only One who Likes her Face like That, Like SHOCKED. And I love listening to the facts that she've been sharing, for sure the educational lessons. ❤
Yes, Jamila Musayeva! It is good to learn about this kind of behaviour. Thank you! By the way of pantyhose, in (old) good days it was a requirement to wear it in formal events. More than that, formal events such as weddings or opera concerts imposed long dresses for women, of course. At least this is what I saw in my country.
I would love a video about hats/caps ettiquette. I understand you are to remove them when eating/entering a place? Only wear them on the outside? What about inside a church wedding? I would love to know what would be the correct etiquette. Thank you
Dear Jamila!! I loved the video, very interesting, but I do have to inform you that you mixed up the Argentinean First Lady and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. The queen is the one with the open shoulder dress!
Fun, entertaining, and educational! thank you always for sharing these kinds of videos, Jamila! Keep creating. Your content is always one of the bests out here.
Hello, Ms. Musayeva! Could you please make a video on dress code for workplace? It may change from culture to culture but there would be a general appropriate acceptance of dressing. I would be delighted to watch such a video!
Hi, Jamila! Great video and content, as always! I love your channel and really admire the dedication and attention to detail you put into your videos. By the way, what a lovely dress! =)
This might be slightly off topic, but thank you for touching on the "don't pat royal officials on the back" rule. Where I come from- even though I'm 25 years old- if I am anywhere with my mother and her friends recognize me from my childhood, they will immediately go for hugs/ pats on the back. The amount of times I've ducked out of a hug and went for a handshake instead is higher than I'd care to admit. I couldn't imagine responding to that situation when the cameras were rolling.
I can’t understand why so many people think it’s fine to touch someone in general. The “patting on the back” images made me cringe. I hate it when strangers touch me, ugh.
Insightful and terrific video once again, Jamila! ❤️Could you please make a video about social media etiquette and probably dating apps etiquette? Thank you very much!
Would you consider doing a wedding guest etiquette video? How to behave at the ceremony/reception, what's appropriate to have a conversation about at a wedding, phone etiquette, etc.
A cool video might be an exploration of some of the etiquette rules that have changed during Queen Elizabeth’s reign/ lifetime. Things she would encounter in the 50s/60s vs today.
Good evening. I really enjoy your videos and I'd appreciate some tips about properly sitting at a table, wether it's a black tie event or not. Thanks in advance
I agree, pantyhose are still required for any very formal occasion. I think they are a must formal corporate offices, too, like in government, finance, law, etc.
Queen Rania held her handbag in the other hand so she didn’t barge it into Queen standing next to her. I, myself do not like to hold my handbag on the same side as my friend - more risk of bumping/brushing against each other. I think it’s subconscious thing.😆
Interesting, in my own country ladies will carry their handbags on the left leaving their right hands free to draw a handgun or other weapon from its hiding place 🤔
Lol I can't tell if the comment about drawing the handgun was made in jest or not. But in my case that's definitely true. I concealed carry and draw/shoot right. I definitely carry my handbag on my left side leaving my right side and hand free for an unhindered draw if ever the need arises.
Dear Jamila, I would like to share my point of view about the appearance of the first lady of France in Egypt. Since she visited the country as representative of France and not as a private person I think her outfit was totally appropriate.
Exactly. She visited as a representative of state and not as a private person so hence for a formal occasion had to wear a dress below her knee. Look at how the royal family of England dresses when they visit Muslim states or how Michelle Obama did.
Dear Jamila, you are a wonderful content creator. I think it would be very interesting if you made a video about Jackie Kennedy. I always thought she was a very classy lady.
I think that on the white tie event, the lady with the off the shoulder dress is actually queen Maxima of Holand, who is also an Argentinean, but not the first lady of Argentina.
@@JamilaMusayeva yes, I saw it afterwards. I love your videos, they are a great source of basic and useful information. They way you teach it makes learning easy and very understanble. Thank you for you hard work.
Hello, Jamila! Maybe it's a personal occurrence, but can you please give some tips about how to avoid heated arguments? I feel so bad because i know their opinion can hurt someone who may be listening so, i voiced my opinion and they got mad at me, but they also did when i decided just to no participate in the conversation, so, maybe you have some tips or ways of breaking that circle politely because i know for a fact that they won't change their stand and its really mentally drainging for me.
