They're not cheap, but a LOT better than the stock reflector headlights that my 2011 PRO-4X Frontier came with, where the highbeams were just about useless (even with LED bulbs).
I installed my set and they work as advertised. I do believe the mods or relays sense amps to control dimming the DRLs to half power when heads lights are on. If you bypass them that function will not work. Anyway, they do look and work good definitely worth it. I have a 2014 frontier and they made it look much newer.
Do you have any blind spot? Seems like your light throw os different from mine. Not sure if I installed them incorrectly. Only screw adjustment is up and down.
@@ProjectBasecampwhat if one goes out? Doesn't really seem worth it. Even if it lasts you 3 years. Who wants to buy 850$ headlights again if one goes out?
Should have seen the original relays on the first run of headlamps, unsealed and they become buckets that hold water when hanging loose, need to zip tie them upright or they'll rust out and stop working. Then they started bolting them to the back of the light so they'd stay upright, glad to see they're using sealed relays now. Hopefuly they start attaching them to the back of the lights too. You mentioned in a reply to someone not wanting to deal with resistors for an LED turn signal, I'm using the LASFIT 7440 LED Bulb Amber 7440NA WY21W. They are super super bright, too bright really. But they are only on when the turn signal is on, they don't stay on while driving which is nice. You can get the 7443 in either white or amber always on with amber turn for stock style.
I've been watching these lights for a few years waiting for the price to come down. The price hasn't changed and I don't think they will. Just can't justify paying that price. The lights have their issues as mentioned in this video. For the price I'd expect a perfect headlight assembly and these are not.
The screw driver turns them from the top grabbing the teeth of the adjuster. If you turned the nut itself it may have loosened . Mine work fine...good luck.
The video doesn't do the output justice. They are bright and the projector highbeams light up the road a LOT better than the stock Frontier, reflector style headlights that seemed to throw light everywhere except down the road where they're really needed
These headlights are gorgeous. Can't justify getting them until the rest of the truck is how I want it, but it's on the wishlist for sure
You’ll love em! Good luck with the rest of the mods!
Glad to see these out on the market finally. Likely put these on my frontier next year
Good choice!

The dimming still works without the relays, the relays are just there to lock out the headlights if the key is not turned on.
@@ProjectBasecamp Good to know...
@@ProjectBasecamp I agree that they should have mounted them though. I used double sided 3m adhesive to hold mine in place.

How much of the front bumper did you have to remove to install these?
I had to remove the grille, inner fender liner, and basically drop the top of the bumper down. I didn’t have to completely remove it.
Can you take out low and high beam bulbs if you want to replace with stronger leds?
No, these are sealed headlights.

LED should last much longer than 3 years. I don’t know any newly built vehicle that has LEDs that can be replaced.
Hello Greetings from Rome. Are these headlights suitable for the 2005 Pathfinder R51? thank you
No, I believe the grille is different.
Fyi, you can swap the incandescent turn signal bulb out for an LED one if you wanted.
Yeah, I may get a switchback from diode dynamics but not sure I wanna deal with resistors

are they user serviceable ? As in can I replace the headlight bulb or are they sealed ?
These lights are sealed.
Hello, very nice. What is the cost and where to purchase?
Over 900!!!
Cómo puedo adquirir un par de faros soy de chile
Estos son para la especificación de EE. UU. Nissan. No creo que hagan nada por el Navara (Lo siento, estoy usando el traductor de Google jaja)
looks like you still have the OEM battery, which leaks acid all over the place....i had to replace mine ....same story.
Get a gel battery no.more acid leaks
Yes sir!, I got an AGM in my Frontier. Worth every penny.
Once this battery is dead, I'll be getting a new one

There is a sale once in a while. I think they are worth it for me just for the aesthetic upgrade.
I have the same headlights, trying to adjust the headlights, twisting the knob but the lights won’t budge any.
Odd, mine move just fine…if you can email me a vid or something maybe I can help?

Good looking lights but not enough light output for me. I’ll stick with my HID kit
