I have a S250 military communication shelter converted camper and needed heat so looked at the propex. It looks like the most high quality option but the cost was hard to justify for the number of times we go out in the winter. Ended up with a Sunster diesel heater in a box all outside of the camper. Should be testing in a week or so. As backup also ordered a 12v lay on electric blanket since we have two 200aH batteries and 300 w solar on the roof. One way or another I should not have ice inside the camper like I did on the first trip at 10 degrees.

To turn the deflation on do I have to put the nozzle on the other extreme ?

this trailer looks awesome, but the vinyl wrap designs are such an eyesore. Wish they just had a few simple colors options. A lot of outdoorsy folk don’t want such a flashy look.

In my opinion 1. Tape off cutting area, mark it. Easier to see 2. Cut inside lines. 3. Test fit 4. Adjust carefully with a file. 5. Test fit and adjust again until good. 6. Clip in. Do not glue.

Could you use another one of those temperature controls to control the fans instead of needing switches? Put the temp probe behind the fridge, and then when it gets over X degrees, the fans (the external one, and the internal one) would fire up at the same time, and control themselves?

Only in this 1st 5min .lol. camper camping with a Nissan truck no matter what the size ... even a picture of a camper is to heavy..good luck. Two person tent!

Any idea how I’d disable battery charging altogether? I’m going to power the trailer via power station (goal zero) and don’t want the battery to receive any charge from the converter. Yes, I could disconnect the battery pack every time I connect to shore power, but I’d rather nip it at the source to avoid mistakes.

When I installed a small ac fridge into our trailer, it rocked like that. It was the flooring inside the fridge cubby. The oem fridge sat closer to the perimeter of the cubby than the new one. I cut and screwed down a plate of steel, and also made an L bracket at the top - construction adhesive to the fridge top, and screwed into the wood at the top face of the opening.

I have that All Top compressor. Works well but gets pretty hot.

I just installed mine on a 2010 Xterra, easy setup. Thankfully I didn’t run into any of the issues you experienced. The real challenge has been cutting the plastic bumper and grill. I agree about the paint, I should have had it powder coated.

At the very least I'd add some covers to the positive terminals on those batteries. I off road my trailer and if it's not secure it can bounce and slide just about anywhere.

Well, I just drilled a hole where you drilled yours and a gas escaping noise started. I hope it isn't my refrigerant. I am going to plug it up and see if its still working.I hope I didn't drill into refrigerant...It is my refrigerant. I cant see where I hit a line but apparently I did. When I put power on it, gas shoots out of the hole I drilled.

Late to the party lol 😂 but I am researching campers and just want to say honesty is good I’m sorry you stressed so much! Your opinions are your own you never said hey this is the worst and no one buy it lol. I appreciate your honesty and I can use my own judgements , I am still looking into this camper for me but if the same thing works for everyone we’d not need all the options lol. This obviously was not right for your needs. I’ve noticed some campers have very strong opinions about how to do it lol.

as a general rule I try not to take to seriously anybody who uses slip joint tools in anything other than an emergency.... How long would it have taken to find the correct size wrench given the amount of time you put into setting up the camera as a comparison? c'mon man?!

Thanks for the video. Got directed here from Forest River site. My fridge has been working great for a year and then mid trip started having issues with the freezer holding temp but not the fridge. Going to pull the thermostat when I get home to see if the factory screw went out of adjustment and loosened up over time with rotating the dial. Or I’ll adjust to try and get it back where it should be! Sad these units don’t have factory offered parts.

I decided to install the shower cabin in my trailer. Cool idea to use TV holder to assembly the shower cabin.

Have these arms on my 23 pro4x best upgrade ever a must for any lift in these trucks!

My husband said you used to be able to buy LP regulators. A regulator can get higher pressure the tighter you screw it down. I hope they still sell them so you can cook outside your rig too.
