Was there to hear this live although now I have very scant recollection of the night. Love how this is improvised and ever version is different. Love them all but this is my favorite. Thanks for posting this.
When you're young there is the tendency to believe these rumored stories of angst and illicitness that go with musicians and their writing...I think he just had a good day of obscure writing...not the animated stuff our younger selves thought of... Image: A foggy. day Berkley back stage this first time. A super fave of mine few know about or had heard...
Bought this cd back in the 90’s at a record fair. Think it was carnage visors/curiosity anomalies, heard this song and was blown away, voice is so pure.
To me the part where you have "I fall for you" sounds like he's singing "all mine". Also interestingly enough this appears to be sped up a half tone, unless they were playing in A# minor (unlikely I'd think, and there are a lot of recordings out there sped up on songs where it can be confirmed better). Even their official chopped release of this song keeps this incorrect speed strangely enough! Bringing it down a half tone makes it A minor, which matches Olympia for example on the chord progression. The sped up version does give it kind of an ethereal quality though, the other example is video of live at pompeii by Pink Floyd was released on dvd at a similar incorrect speed but it gives it a certain something. Edit: then again... so many of these recordings of all mine are in A#m that maybe they did either tune up or use a capo. This version of the whole concert is normally tuned, and drowning man also matches normal tuning here th-cam.com/video/UQ_r3wC2daQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HqATPRvgWm3nxdAd
Yeah, I had the Concert/Curiosity tape back in the day, and it's the same truncated recording as on the Pornography Deluxe Edition. This full recording is taken from the bootleg recording of the entire show, which I first obtained from tape trading bootlegs in the 90s. Here's a picture of part of my collection when I still had it. They're all digital now. x.com/infovoy_v2/status/1391441580641374210 It doesn't look like I've uploaded the full show to TH-cam yet - I might do that later. Will reply here if I do. In the meantime there's this from the same show though - first ever live playing of A Strange Day th-cam.com/video/lXGryjHrCJ4/w-d-xo.html Matt

His normal speaking voice is hard to understand.. grew up with this band.. remember the interview picture disk...4 pack and 12inch.. I had them memorized to the best of knowledge...as a kid... Unless you come from Crowley England.. the accent is difficult at best... He also would make up lyrics live.. ever seen them play a Forest.. live . Cheers from Southern California
Thank you so much for uploading this.

Had this tape. All mine and Forever are so, so amazing x
Yes, it was my introduction to those songs too! They were so mysterious to me at the time, they led to a Cure anomalies obsession!
Always loved this obscure track
Thank you so very much for this...
Growing up, so many fans.. had never heard the song... Cassette only...
Cheers from Southern California...

Thanks for uploading. This is beautiful. Other copies exist, I bought mine on cassette in Austria in the early 90s.

All Mine, All Mine...
Where exactly does this recording come from? The one on Pornography Deluxe and (afaik) Curiosity is less than 3 minutes of the full thing.
