- Ugly or pretty, one of the most 'complete'versions of All Mine, and a fave. This particular version is sometimes known as "All I Have To Do Is Kill Her" (due to the pre Curiosity-release bootleggers not knowing its name, so using a line from the song).
From Paris 7th June 1982. this is the partly improvised song All Mine, which was only played in 1982, being a reworking of the more usual partly improvised track Forever played in 1980, 1981, and from 1983 onwards.

Very long time Cure fan. No blame on the bootleggers who gave us this gem! There are several versions of "All Mine" floating around the cables. Although it is very much a work on All Mine...this version of the song will always be "All I want to do is kill her" to me. It stands as one of my favorite Cure tracks ever.

There are like 7 different damn versions and I can’t set them straight, I’ve only figured out that the version titled all mine live at the hammersmith Odeon I believe is cut short on the official pornography bonus record but you can find the full version on here.

I’ve noticed all of the videos of this performance have the song in a different key than it’s original. Because in the full Paris remastered concert this is clearly A Minor, and in every other video where it’s just this song itself the key is B-flat Minor (one key higher).
Ironically enough, all of the songs in that same remastered concert are slightly pitched down then normal; They’re still in their original keys, but if you listen very closely the pitch isn’t the exact same as the studio recordings.
I surmise all of this might just have to do with how the concert was recorded, and how that remaster was put together.
Yeah, there's multiple recordings, pressings and remasters of this show as shown at the bottom of this page on the show - www.cure-concerts.de/concerts/1982-06-07.php - and some were at slightly different speeds. And nowadays with people pitch/speed shifting them to correct there's probably even more variation...
So different from the Track on Concert. Almost a different song altogether ? Love the version on Concert
Yes, it was a part-improvised song that while the chord progression remained the same (usually) the structure and lyrics differed somewhat every time.
It was only played in 1982, replacing Forever (which it's probably based on and is also part improvised, itself being a version of Three). Here's my playlist of every extant versions. just for true obsessives like me!

Wrong title. This is "All I Had to do is Kill Her"
As I say in the description "this particular version is sometimes known as "All I Have To Do Is Kill Her" (due to the bootleggers not knowing its name so using a line from the song)".
In other words the name you say is on some unofficial bootlegs. But the song in all its versions got the official name "All Mine" when one of those versions was released on the "Curiosity" album.
It's technically one of the "Forever's," but "All Mine Forever" is a totally different version. I don't care what (other) bootleggers are doing. Just get it straight

It's a reworking of Forever. Forever started out as a live version of Three in 1980 but was then given the name Forever in the version they recorded for a Peel Session in early 1981. Forever was alos played live throughout 1981 as the final song.
Then in 1982 they played Forever a couple of times at the start of the year, but then changed the song so that it has a different chord structure. This was only played in 1982 and is called All Mine.

We know they're officially different because on the official album "Curiosity" (the Cassette B-side of the "Concert" album, they are both on there, called "All Mine" for the 1982 chords version and "Forever (version)" for the 1984 version that's on there.

After 1982 they only ever played Forever, not All Mine.
But before the "Curiosity" release in 1984 "All Mine" had no official name and only if you knew the Peel Session of "Forever" would you know that name too, so bootleggers often just gave those songs names from the words Robert improvised on the night. That's what happened with "All I Have to do is kill her". But if you listen to all the extant versions from 1982, there are actually others that also have that lyric. They're all just versions of "All mine".
This takes me back... people used to argue about this all the time in the Cure community in the early days of the web - on the Stiff As Toys message board especially. I had a Cure website I with an article just on this topic :)
