when I first gave my life to Christ, I first ask God what version he wanted me to stick with. well I went to Church later on that week and I even came in late and My Pastor said " I want you to stick with the King James Version" Now I Know that was God. There is a difference between Translation and Interpretation. But I like the Parallel version that way I can check what the others are saying against King James. What also helps us with Bible is the Holy Ghost. and being prayerful about rightly dividing his word. Well this is a refreshing content you have put out. Im praying for you take care

I’ve been trying to build my relationship with God for the longest but I always give up, I have this thought in my mind that, within 2 days I’ll have a relationship with him, then I get discouraged when I don’t. It’s like J can’t put my phone down, and read the Bible. I struggle with Laziness so much. Any tips?
Fast. It may sound difficult but when you fast and pray God will give you strength you didn’t know you had. Trust me I was a procrastinator. Always said I will but didn’t until I started fasting and praying. After Day 2 I was like okay “ I can do this”

Because of that sacrifice, simply place your trust in Christ and you can have that assurance that your sins have been washed away and you are a new creature in Christ, holy and righteous, a righteous priesthood. However, our job is to bring Christ to this earth, to shine the light of God to the nations. If you want to be with God in heaven. Simply ask for forgiveness and for a new heart that loves the lord, and you can live with the assurance that Christ has died so you can be saved. But beware, when you believe truly, tribulation and temptation shall arise, when this comes, use the Holy Spirit as your guide and always choose the Lord. Honest, I got my NKJV today and I was all over it from my time with the NIV. I really have not read it yet, but all the passages I read in my NIV I have had since Dec 25, 1999 has been a great reference. All the bookmarks, literally highlighting scriptures making nots that were in the NIV were transitioned to the NKJV. Bible is one day old in my hands and looks like it has years of use already. I wanted it to feel familiar.

I’m about to be 40 and my little sister is 21. She just told me that she’s non religious. I’m in shock and I don’t know how to even talk to her about it. If someone doesn’t believe in God how do you even try to talk to them about it without making them mad? Even though this is something that needs to be addressed ASAP with her.

I have actually never read the book fully through. My great grandma has read the Bible fully through more than 7 times. Each time she finished reading it she wrote the date she finished inside her bible she past away now when I was in middle school I think. Anyways. My mom did a bible study with me and my brother once we started in the book of Revolutions. We got to like chapter 22 or something and never finished. I had a bible that was gifted to me in 2014 by my deaf pastor before I moved to South Dakota for 6.5 years I always took the Bible with me to church but never really opened it or read it. I recently used some religious floral washy tape my mom had at home and redid the cover of the Bible and put washy tape on the pages where each book of the Bible starts. I really want to mark up my bible with colored pens that I use for my planner but I’m not really sure how or what to do. I found a page on Google images that’s shows how to read the entire Bible in 120 days starting with Genesis to Revelations.

I like how you said to start out, if you're just beginning, in the New Testament with John for instance. In my faith, I was a part of something called Bible Bowl back in Middle School. We would be asked questions about Bible trivia and have to answer them faster than the other team to get points. Your video has showed me some tips and tricks on how to study my Bible NOW more effectively! Thanks!
I came half thru the bible and the more I read the less I believed. I was thinking wtf, people actually believe this.. 🤯 I was in rehab with a bunch of evangelicals and they told I shouldn’t read it like a book. I said, oh so you have to pick and chose.. I knew some of them was have doubt for they opened up to me because they some times had trouble in keeping faith. You have to have a constant re fill or you’ll loose it. The devil is always on the hunt you guys so watch out! 😈🤣 You have cut out all logic in your head and be brainwash to believe this or be in some very desperate state. I can understand people believing this hundred of years ago, but modern people have no excuse. It’s to many things that make no sense, and that what’s they told, you have to throw away all logic and sense. 🤣 it’s so crazy to me, I couldn’t throw away it even if my life was dependent on it. I know to much and seen to much to ever ever believe it. Keep your faith, I used to believe in aliens and shit in my early 20 years. Long story short, I used to believe aliens was watching me and keeping track of me until I knew what sleep paralysis were. See science do the trick, now I’m from from aliens! 😂😂

You can also get The Holy Bible app (the app is on Samsung and iPhone and probably others that I am not aware of) and you can search all scripture from the Bible and you can pick which version to use. So if you want different versions but don't want to pay for a new Bible this is good for you! The app is completely free and everything on there is free. There are also different devotions you can read and do with friends. I definitely recommend it!
I seriously do not know anything about God! I feel like this didn't help at all honestly. I have the new testament? John but it's all over the place. UGH I feel like I'll never be able to get the hang of this.

This is totally my opinion. Be careful using the NIV version for certain scriptures because it waters down the king James version. Compare for yourself. Usually the king James version or new king James version and compare it to your in NIV. Thank you for this video. I really love how you explain techniques for using your Bible to study. Great video, i have those versions on my Bible App and many other translations too. I have a KJV study bible and on the side, the NIV, ERV, or the NLT. God moves through the versions that i can understand, God Bless you, keep going. Mines are Proverbs, Psalms, Romans, etc, later friend.

Yes , I had NIV , but it had a lot of verses missing , like the other versions , but I asked God to help me , and I have a KJV now

I am catholic and was told to read the New American Bible (NAB) or the NABRE (Revised Edition). The KJV is missing 7 of the books.

I have a study NLT study Bible. I also have NIV. I also have king James. I like is the NIV, NLT. These 2 are easier to understand.

This is TERRIBLE advice! Start in Genesis and end in Revelation.

This is totally my opinion. Be careful using the NIV version for certain scriptures because it waters down the king James version. Compare for yourself. Usually the king James version or new king James version and compare it to your in NIV. Thank you for this video. I really love how you explain techniques for using your Bible to study. Do you think it’s okay for reading the NKJV Bible? It’s the new version which translates better I just bought it yesterday! But I’ve heard that it changes the wording a lot. Do you think it’s okay?

Great video, i have those versions on my Bible App and many other translations too. I have a KJV study bible and on the side, the NIV, ERV, or the NLT. God moves through the versions that i can understand, God Bless you, keep going. Mines are Proverbs, Psalms, Romans, etc, later friend.
Yes!! Love the NLT version. Just got the NLT Life Application Bible. Whew. So much easier.
