I just bought the v10 and was unsure of what else I needed. This was very helpful and informative for me, as I am a complete beginner to vlogging. Also, I’ve GOT to say….your voice is extremely calming and enjoyable to listen to! I just subscribed!
Another good video. Thank you for concise and appropriate scripting of the narration. Everyone should follow your example and keep it short and to the point with no fluff - well done. JR
Superb video, thank you. I myself have just bought the powershot V10 and I was looking for accessories. Could you put in description with the links for the protections where you bought please? Thank you I like the video
Thank you so much for watching and for your support! 😊 The Canon PowerShot V10 is designed mainly for vlogging, since it doesn’t come with a built-in flash like some traditional cameras, you can definitely use LED lights to brighten things up! They’re super handy and often give better control for videos compared to a flash. However there’s no way to mount it, so you’d have to hold it out. Let me know if you need recommendations! Hi! great video! I just got my Canon V10 and I just wanted to ask if the camera still charges while in use because when i turn on the camera while charging, the orange light turns off.. Is it suppose to stay on?
Hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, you could use it while it’s plugged in according to Canon (below). I think the light on mine is also off. support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART183845#:~:text=For%20safety%2C%20charging%20in%20low,while%20plugged%20in%20for%20charging.
Thank you for your comment. That seems to be the case, I also wish it wasn’t. There’s only streaming, using it as a webcam by setting the USB connection mode to the “Video calls / streaming”. Unless Canon and change it with firmware.
Thanks for reaching out. For Hollyland Lark 1, Long press the Mode Switch/Volume Down Button for 5 seconds to switch modes: Green static light indicates Camera Mono Mode
Hi, thanks for reaching out. I’m not sure how that can be done, but if you have a stand or a tripod with a constant LED light attached to it, it would work well. Like the Selfie Stick tripod in the video.
Hi, thanks for reaching out. I have not tested it for a lengthy period, so I can’t say for sure, sorry. But I’m going to assume it could use HDMI output to a TV without overheating for a reasonable amount of time. However, I would consider things like ambient temperature and camera settings.

can i ask you please .. do u have an idea about how to charge the camera while its working and shooting at the same time??
Hi, yes you should be able to charge while on the-go with a powerbank or-while using indoor plugged. Let me know if you tried it.
the V10 cannot be charged during the operational, is there a way to work around this ?
