I got lots of questions about my vlog camera I use in one of my older videos ( • a productive day [VLOG... )
so here is a quick little video about what you can expect when using the canon powershot v10. This camera is the main camera I film a lot of my vlogs on alongside my sony zv1 :)

this camera is good, I swear it's perfect. when I first got it I thought I was a TH-camr with a million subscribers. and Its easier to film with it in public cause its small anyways the vid is soo good. I hope you reach 1k really soon so you can get monetized.

I have had this camera for a whole month so far and honestly didn’t know i could flip the little stand out that far thank you!! A new feature has been unlocked to me lol ❤

yay! i'm so glad! I definitely thought about getting the dji pocket ones as well but i just felt that this one is more discreet than holding a stick-like camera lol

thank you!! i edit in FCPX and the storage is outsourced rather than being built in. I use a 128gb mini sd card for it :)

omg why did I only see this after buying the zv1f for vlogging!! it's literally the perfect size and doesn't draw attraction😮
I use the zv1 in addition to this camera! it's nice to have diversity in your equipment for different quality and angles :)
what is the range of the F stop
hey quick question! Does the camera still charge while in use? because the charging light only turns orange when the camera is off but once its on the charging light turns off and the battery icon on screen turns grey, does it mean its charging?
That's such a good question and I actually have no idea! It doesn't say in the user manual but I would assume it does charge?? It would be weird for it to be plugged in and not eat up any energy even while you're using it (i think)
how long is the battery life usually? planning a trip to korea and i wanna know how sparingly to use it. thanks!
omg so exciting!! i love korea 😭 so jealous of you right now. but... the battery is pretty decent as long as you're not filming long form videos. i like to film small snippets of my day so it can last me a whole day sometimes

Hi, are you shooting in 4k or 1080 in this vlog? Just want to know if you also experience over heating when in 4k.

I believe my settings are default to 4k :) but i've never noticed overheating! to be fair, I always shoot small clips at a time rather than 10-20 minute videos at one time. That's a really good point to consider though, never realized that before!
Can you plug the charger in the phone and the camrea at the same time so the camrea footage go in the phone storage
No... does not work as USB storage device as far as I know. Even if you hook it up to a computer

I assume you meant resolution and fps? if so, it was recorded in 1920 x 1080pixels and 30fps

it does take pics in high resolution but it can vary depending on the lighting of the environment

The quality of the image doesn't look very good especially for 1 inch sensor
it should be noted that some of the video footage was recorded on my phone!!
