Yes, I got the magnetic adapter from Amazon. If your search “USB-C magnetic adapter”, you’ll find several brands. Anyway, I just checked Steam, it no longer shows the name of the controller other than “Xinput controller”. However in “Begin Test”, it still shows the old outline image of the Xbox 360 controller and “Device Support: 45e-28e-4bfcbe17”. In Windows 11, it’s “Flydigi VADER 3”.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 can take still photos. It has a 9.4 MP resolution, 20 mm f/2.0 lens, and 1-inch CMOS sensor. It’s doesn’t have high megapixels, but the 1-in sensor does great.

Thank you for your comment and question. I’m not sure. Camera settings: Check your camera's flash settings. Make sure it's not set to force manual mode for external flashes. Or flash compatibility: If you're using a third-party flash, it may not support TTL with this combination of camera and trigger. Let us know.

@@TossSong It works with the flash directly on camera. But not with the trigger. Tried everything. No chance.

Try more. Make sure the firmware on the trigger is updated. Double-check the camera’s settings. Sometimes, custom settings or configurations can interfere with TTL mode. Make sure that the trigger is set to TTL mode and not manual (M) mode. Check the Godox X3 manual to make sure it’s configured correctly. Drastic action, If you want, resetting the camera to factory settings can help determine if this is the issue.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately you can’t. But you can transfer data like in the video. This adapter is primarily designed for video output and charging, not for connecting USB peripherals like keyboards or mice. However you can use Bluetooth for keyboard and mouse.

Okay, I will test again when I get back from work. There might be in the iPadOS or iOS update that allows this. When I first bought it I remember testing it, didn’t work. But try it again.

Thanks for your patience. YES, it does work! I first tested a keyboard on the USB port on the adapter connected to my M3 MacBook Pro. (As you know the C port is for power delivery only.) Then I also tested on my iPad Pro, it even had an indicator icon for keyboard connection, never seen that before! So it works on both. Also tested a Mouse too, works. Again, I remember testing it when I first got it, nothing. Things must have improved/changed. I happy and glad about this. Thanks for questioning it.

Thank you for your comment. Great observation on both points! Yes, this is true the K06 does have the keys packed closer together. The i4 keys are more apart and a little more comfortable. I do feel the difference between them. And also it’s true that the i4 is more clicky and can be annoying if used often. 👍 However they are not too bad in my opinion. And you can get used to either one. I do like them both.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. It doesn’t do pen writing, but in note app, it can be scribbled with finger(s). However, it’s VERY slow to the point where it’s not usable. Therefore, it doesn’t detect your palm at all.

@@TossSong I can only control the osmo pocket 3 device through the mimo application. if I want to use only the device, I cannot film or take photos. A padlock in a border appears on.

I see try the following: Swipe down from the top of the touchscreen to access the quick settings menu. Look for the padlock icon in this menu. Tap the padlock icon to unlock the device.

Okay try the following, from DJI support: 1. Restart the Device: Power off your DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and your mobile device. Then, power them back on and reconnect. 2. Update Firmware: Ensure that both your DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and the DJI Mimo app are updated to the latest firmware and software versions. Sometimes, issues are fixed in updates. 3. Check Mode: Ensure that the camera is not in a mode that restricts photo or video capture. For example, some modes might lock certain functions. 4. Reset Settings: Go to the settings menu of the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and look for an option to reset settings to default. This can sometimes resolve unexpected behavior. 5. Reinstall the App: Uninstall the DJI Mimo app from your mobile device, then reinstall it from the app store. This can fix potential software conflicts. 6. Reconnect the Device: Disconnect the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 from the mobile device and reconnect it. Ensure that the connection is secure and recognized by the app. 7. Hi, thanks for reaching out. Have you removed the lens cap, just my first thought. Some lenses have a mechanism that prevents the shutter button from being pressed when the lens cap is on. I personally have not had any problems with the shutter. Let me know.

@@TossSong Yes, and I reset the camera and swapped lens, it's slowly responding now?

Maybe something is wrong on your end. The shutter on mine perfectly fine. BTW, I meant the lens “Cap”. Have you removed it? Some lenses have a mechanism that prevents the shutter button from being pressed when the lens cap is on.

@@TossSong Might be a software glitch? It’s working fine now. Just have to set up my camera prior from resetting.

Hi, thank you for reaching out. As for every day tasks, yes. Yes for sure, as for tablet use. However, as in my video, I have Not tested with a SIM card to use as a phone. So, I can’t more about it. I do know that it will only be capable of 4G LTE.

Hi, thanks for your comment. I have been using the app for several years now, I’ve not had any issues. There are only two things to press, one is the pump number and another is “confirm”, but Yes, if you’re in a small gas station it can get crowded.

Hi, thanks for your comment. Yes I agree, one gripe about it is the rumble motor. It’s audible and not as strong and intense. When increasing the rumble intensity from the original 60% to higher like 80%, it’s better but still audible. Overall, I’m still very happy with it with all other features on it.

@@TossSong Yeah, I really really like it. It's just this one small issue that I can complain, but I'll eventually just tune the noise out and get used to it. Thanks!

Thanks for your comment. The battery life is good, not great. When setting the screen brightness to 40% or below, it can be great. Out of the box at 80% brightness is okay to good. And yes, I agree about the build quality, the SIM stray is a little fragile too. Like you said it comes with lesser known brands. But it’s performance well thus far for me.

Yes, there is a post here under the by a commenter (with many thumbs up). You can turn off cellular and Bluetooth and try connecting again. It should work.

Just for context, this is the second X3s trigger I've bought because I thought the first one was a lemon and I love the design and UI of this trigger so much.. I wish that it worked correctly. 2 major problems I had (hoping the firmware fixed - now bricked), is that none of the Godox triggers recognize Sony's built in Wireless Flash ON/OFF feature, so regardless of what it's set to, the trigger fires. As a real estate photographer who needs to bounce back and forth between flash and ambient lighting, it's extremely frustrating. And 2), 90% of the time I turn my X3 ON/OFF for this purpose, it disconnects from all my flashes. I'm often running 4 flashes and it gets very time consuming trying to work with this trigger. Now that it's bricked, it sits in my closet, what a waste of money. I contacted Godox support but provided Tier 1, lamo support. Such a huge let down as this trigger is sexy AF.

Hi thanks for reaching out. I see, could be frustrating. Hope everything turns out well. Next time, if it seems to be bricked, when the screen goes blank, you could try and press and hold the knob for a long bit. Keep doing it intermittently, then plug it in. Or open the Godox Launcher on the computer first, then plug it in. Again try it intermittently.

@@TossSong I eventually received help from Godox's support team and they provided a successful solution, "The transmitter screen will turn black if abnormalities occur in upgrading. The solution is to re-plug the USB cable, press and hold the test button and the select dial at the same time, then release the test button only, until "Upgrading" appears on the interface, then the device can be upgraded successfully through USB cable." All that worked for me, now I'm hoping the firmware update made some huge improvements on connectivity. For those wondering, I do see that legacy hotshoe has now been added after the update.

Thank you for your comment. The cable I use came with my Canon PowerShot V10 (with a “magnetic USB-C adapter” from Amazon). You can use any as long as it’s data transferable. I use a variety even Apple Thunderbolt 3 cable and even a generic brand. They all work.

Hi, thanks for reaching out. From there support site, the utility app provides several functions: 1. Customizing focus settings 2. Adjusting the focus ring's rotation direction 3. Updating lens firmware 4. Fine-tuning autofocus behavior Regarding lens calibration, the Tamron Lens Utility is not primarily designed for calibrating focus accuracy. If a lens needs calibration due to front or back-focusing issues, the utility itself won't likely fix this problem. For these Tamron lenses, I think real calibration would need to be done by an authorized service.

@@TossSong ah I see. I see the 100-400 doesn't have the USB connection. So would you go about updating the firmware w/o having a USB connection?

For the 100-400mm, you’d need the “TAP-in Console” which I’ve never used. But if you look into it, I think you could do. Shouldn’t be difficult.
