- out on a delivery and this is what happened to me when I was delivering pizza to a customer, Im not a violent person but I will stand my ground and make them take the first move as I would have it on film like I have here.

Im a biker myself only difference is female , i find it hard to believe how long they managed to ride on the public road without being stopped for wearing no helmets , obviously the bike was stolen but no one gives a shit to report them . +Vincent de Guard i did burger king deliveries when they first started in the uk ( i was already manager in the franchise so i got pushed into it ) anyway i had to delivery to a chav area. i come back and some kids tried to take the bike. but then everytime i go i get followed, approached. every now and again i come across a gang desperate for food. You're walking and its always "yo bruv, what you got. how fast is ya bike, got any food for me, money? fam tell me" irritating stuff. so i left it. I wouldnt mind it in a car as so much but on the scooters they give you you are so open to anything and they arent fast so you cant run aha. if i was using my bike i would be out of places in seconds. Its actually a scary job

Feel sorry for van drivers in marked vans (home deliveries especially) with loads of crates/sack-barrow...perhaps having to go into "rough areas/estates", not having the vehicle close by, going down alleyways/ into stairwells at night. Totally diferent to making deliveries in "posh"/upscale areas with driveways and quiet/safe surroundings. And this time of year (Christmas) odds are have certain high-priced items on-board. Use to do interflora/floristry deliveries few years back... no CODs and who'd want steal flowers but even so disliked going into some areas just because always find "layabouts" hanging around maybe thinking could "pick-off" a mobile phone or SatNav...and of course you never know if someone is carrying a "blade" of some sort. I was lucky, never got into any "situations"...but others do and the effects can be tragic.

Wanna know what grinds my gears tho? As someone who works for UK Dominos, I've already been attacked by chav's while riding several times, and the company do absolutely nothing. I was stabbed one time (saved by the armour in the bike gear), and the store manager sent me straight back out when I got back to the store, instead of filing any kind of report.
That's illegal. He is supposed to take an incident report and if necessary have you treated for injuries. Also make a police report
