- Acura Integra JDM front end conversion. This was done in my private shop and took about a week to prep, paint, break down, wire, assemble, weld and finish. I used a 1995 Honda Prelude hood latch cable that worked perfectly. I also needed to rewire the headlights, markers, signals and add fog lights. I added a four plug connector for low beam, high beam, fog, and signal. For the corner marker I purchased two pigtails plugs from a mid 90's Lexus LS400 at a wrecking yard. the side markers on the fenders used the factory plug from the factory markers in the USDM bumper. I will be making a video for the wiring soon.
Thanks for watching!

My friends gonna be getting this kit once I move to Washington state next summer. I can't wait to try and do it for the first time 😂
JDM Gemz aha where in Washington ?
@@davidperez1608 wtf
ahh, much better
Thanks for the vid. Quick question did you have an extra metal template where you outline to cut the side of the headlights so the jdm headlights would fit? How would i get a perfect cutout if i didnt have an extra template like you did. Thanks.
The front end I bought was cut off leaving the extra pieces on the sides so I got lucky. If I you don't have those I would pre fit the headlights and trim back a little at a time so you don't take off to much. Hope that helps. Good luck.
nice video, i just wish mine would go on easy as yours did. im still having troubles with a gap between my bumper and headlights
Hola hay alguna manera de que se pueda instalar el cable que abre el capó ??
hi great video and great work!! I have a question: I just purchased a complete dc2 front end too, I wanted to ask you if the plastic cover under the fenders and the plastic cover under the bumper are compatible... thank you very much and great videos🤝🤝
what headlights are they
Did the prelude latch cable work? Was it too long? Also did you left the jdm hood latch on or was it swap out? Thanks
I used the jdm latch which the cable goes to the passenger side, so the long cable was needed for a smooth arch and operation when running it to the drivers side. Worked great.
Can u help me id really like to do this but i don’t even know where to start. I have a dc4 and i want to convert it please and thank u 🙏🏼
You guys know where i could possibly find this front end? Really want to get it on my 97 integra
Honda motors online (HMO) usually has them in nice condition. You can find HMO on instagram as well. Hope that helps.
What is the name of the song playing at 5:12. Great tutorial btw man
Was the prelude cable a good fit ? No mods to it to make it fit ?
No mods or binding. It was plenty long enough and smooth with no problems.
@@SkeltonandCo thanks I'll order one right now !
Which Hood cable and latch you used for this ? Looks awesome
Honda prelude cable. I think it was a 1995. If I remember I just reversed the latch.
@@SkeltonandCo Thanks. What other cables are compatible? I am doing the same thing on Lhd dc2
Honda accords are supposed to work too.
How much does a job like this cost? (parts/labor/etc...)
It cost me about $800 but if you had a shop do the work the front end you can find for about $1000 then labor and paint would probably cost $1500. I have heard of shops doing it for about $2000. Hope that helps. Thanks for the view and comment.
Where are you located?
Los Angeles
How long was job
With out paint it took about 2 days but i was also filming. It can be done in a day. You can also bolt it up and drive it to have someone else weld it.
Ok how much will this cost me
👌👌👌🇩🇴🇩🇴🤙🤙
Which hood latch did u use? USDM or did ur jfront come with it already?
Original US with a early 90's prelude cable.
@@SkeltonandCo any mod u have to do to make it fit or it fits right on?
