Wow ... incredible. Although the lyrics are rather simple, the harmonies plus Judith’s powerful voice make the tune very moving. She delivers a higher note at about 2:58 (maybe this is referred to as a change of key) that really blows me away. I keep playing this tune over & over again. 😃

A lot of fond memories. As a traffic patrol officer in Surrey, mid 60 s we stopped a car full of musical instruments The Seekers had fulfilled an obligation to return to Ireland and play. It was less costly to hire the instruments than to transport them. They had been booked by a pub landlord prior to there top ten success. A very good booking. Yes they are. They had played in Ireland the year before as a little known group. I was told that the owner liked their performance and booked them for the following year. A shewed move. The Seekers honoured the contract for a modest fee. That what I was told.
I remember the Seekers when I was very young. Didn't appreciate them then (like so many things). I have rediscovered them recently and OMG they are incredible! I think they are the best harmonizing group I have ever heard. Judith's voice is the best. She was, is, and always will be an extraordinary talent and a classy lady.

I made the mistake of asking, is this song anything about calling an ambulance and the teacher went mad, and didn't half smack me. I'll remember that till my dying day.
