Feels bad that no one is talking about how consistent yamamoto is with all the digs and receives. This man had like 93% positive recieve the whole game and dug a bunch of hits. He definitely deserves more attention!!

Japan's Ran Takahashi have improved a lot. An excellent young player, already a volleyball star in the making. Team Japan is getting stronger and stronger. All of them are playing so great on the court.
I have high hopes for japan this year. Even though I’m from America, the Japanese have always been my favorite team. They’re just so satisfying to watch

Big well done to Ran Takahashi, he played really well this game and even got an ace. Iran's blocking was scary, but Japan fought their way through and got the win 👏

Ran Takahashi (no.21) did a really good job today, he will be the next star like Ishikawa! But what surprised me most today is Otsuka Tatsunori (no. 19), he replaced Shimizu as opposite player which is not a wing spiker he usually plays and managed very well! Great to see these 2 young men performed well and be the bright future for Japan volleyball. Go go Nippon!!
Takahashi has become more stable at landing and less serves miss. Otsuka is stable as usual. And glad to see the brand new Captain Ishikawa and also Shimizu is backkkkkkk . Yamamoto is also good . Blocks from both teams were so satisfying… 🤍miss Yanagida 🥲 And I now have Fujii’s energy effect 🤣

@@niklasepp4089 the coach just removed him because he thought yanagida didn't fit the team tactic anymore and better players replaced him, there was no trouble between him and the staff hahaha

Japan is going to be a power house team in the future (they are already strong now tbh!) Ran Takahashi (just 19), Nishida (20), Otsuka who can be a reliable sub (20). Then, Ishikawa (25)! Always rooting for Japan!

We all miss Nishida
Honestly what people forget is that half the players on THIS particular japan squad are straight out of uni and high school. Half of them haven't even touched a professional league yet and they're out here beating the iranian national team. And I know Japan also beat russia. Again russia's C team but everyone on that team are regular starters for arguably the second best professional league on the planet and Japan's C team without Fukuzawa or Nishida or Yanagida took them out. I think as good as Takahashi is, Otsuka needs WAY more credit. He's not even an opposite he's an outside. Against china in the exhibition match a few weeks ago he was so dominant moreso than Takahashi, but more importantly he brings such good energy to the court. Let's not discredit Yamamoto either lord that man is everywhere. I have no idea how he hasn't been picked up by an italian league team yet someone needs to get him into the league.

in the second set, but they still pushed through and won even without Nishida.There were long

@@Bacon_King Probably, he will play in the upcoming Tokyo Olympics. He's now resting after he recovered from his injury.
With all the current powerful players and new monster rookies, Japan definitely stepped up a notch on their overall play.
Hoping for Yanagida’s fast recovery.
many people keep ranting that they team got beaten because they only sent their Team B or Weakest team..... dude it’s not Japan’s fault to not send your country a team A. No matter what kind of team you sent, it’s still a National Team.

I know this out of of the topic of the video but the Philippines will join there soon. Our men's team is one of the most underrated volleyball team in the world. Their historic win as silver in 2019 SEA Games proves that they became stronger and ready to represent the Philippines in some international competitions. I hope we will be there in few years... 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
i'm filipino, but kabayan it's a long way to go for our national men's volleyball team. they should first beat indonesia in the region, thailand is also a good match for them. consistency is the key, but our team is improving

Not sure if Shimizu is the problem or he just doesn't have the connection with Fujii yet. Shimizu underperformed this match. Good thing Otsuka delivered.
