Sekita's fast yet so accurate sets towards the middle and the sidelines is so fascinating to watch. Team Japan's defense is truly amazing!

@@novalestaris yup this commentator is the best so far. The other man is quite boring, there's two women, one only repeats great serve massive swing blahblahblah, another one can make my ear bleed with her voice.

@@nothowtung7372 oh my god the only thing she says is “suuuper spike” she may have some knowledge about volleyball but she does not tell anything informative or even gets the names wrong from the players ☠️☠️☠️
I really like the simplicity of Japan's serve receive formation. They are literally running one player in each zone, not hiding any of their players from receiving. It just goes to show how confident every player on that team is in every aspect of the game.
Any team would love to have that adaptability 😊

If only Mayu is the same height as Yuki, she will be a force for the women’s team. I’m not saying that she’s not great, but you know the height advantage would make a whole of difference. The Ishikawas play similar volleyball. Japan women’s team is second to shortest team average height after Thailand.

Ishikawa is playing a different game than volleyball. He is one of a kind.
He scored from every possible position dude. From Left, Right, back row, pipe. This man is incredibly and I love watching him 😍

Yeah, of the three big spikers (Ran, Ishikawa, & Nishida), Ishikawa is the more well rounded. The other two serve hard and spike harder but they haven't learned all other aspects of the game. But, then, the other two are still in their late teens only, I believe, whereas Ishikawa is 24, so that's expected.
@@kiabtoomlauj6249 nishida is already 21. Of the three he has the best attacks and serves. I think Ishikawa has a more powerful attack compared to Takahashi though. The advantage of Takahashi is his height and jump.
@@zacropi3359 I’ve seen Ishikawa hit harder compared to the other two though. Ishikawa’s more than just hitting hard. Plus, he can do well in every department. That’s why out of the 3 of these guys, I’m more interested in watching his matches.
I kinda agree that Ishikawa hits harder and jumps higher than Nishida and Takahashi. I've seen a lot of his matches and I have been following his volleyball career in the Italian League and I have seen him hits the ball harder, faster and over the block than what Nishida and Takahashi had done or doing at the moment. Nishida and Takahashi were just so "over" hyped at the moment especially for some volleyball channels that most volleyball "fans" think that Nishida and Takahashi were two of the best Japan volleyball players who ever stepped on the court. Also, a lot of Nishida and Takahashi stans were just relatively new in the volleyball world that they tend to forget that Ishikawa was younger than them when he debuted in the National Team and also awarded as one of the best six or dream team of one of the major world tournaments.
Yeah. I know people can appreciate or hype whomever they want. Its just annoying sometimes. The other two have potential though we can’t deny that. But if I were to chose as my favorite out of the three, it’s definitely Ishikawa. He just simply the best in the current japanese team imo.

Congrats Team Japan! Sekita’s sets and that one MONSTER Block of him. Ishikawa as always 💪. Also, I love this commentator and his energy. I remember he is also the commentator of the Russia Japan match and he had a good laugh with Ogawa’s head pass (too bad it was out) and now at this game he had a good laugh at Yamamoto’s kinda press-up/push-up position after that one pass (“sorry for laughing, i didn’t mean to, he could’ve done a press-up after he pass that, he said 😆😆). And that one “who said that” part. 😆😆

I like to watch volleyball because it's one of the few games that doesn't have physical contact with an opponent. It only depends on your team's collaboration.

Adding nishida will be a problem to some teams.... having Ran received those serves and those digs put him in the national team.. kudos a 19 yr old and 1st tym in the league... hoping for more woth OTSUKA next time along with RAN
