Hi, that LG monitor is 1280 x 1024 Pixel (5:4) and you're feeding it a 224p/240p mega drive signal? There's some internal scaling going on inside the LG. You could try using the vga port to bypass processing and using emulation to the native lcd resolution and then you can add some scanline effects. I used to run an NEC NLT-20E thats 640x480 native and vga modded the wii to run emulators on that at 480p
I wouldn’t mind playing 480i content on that, but I love CRT gaming.
