I'm 60 and bought an e-bike about 2 years ago - I have fallen in love with bicycle riding all over again after not riding a bicycle for many years. E-Bikes are wonderful and extremely fun.

I found a place to charge up at a pavilion or gazebo in one of the smaller towns along the way. I found ones in Barberton, Canal Fulton, Fredericksburg (charging station behind the coffee shop), Glenmont, Danville, Millersburg by the Walmart, Mount Vernon in the town square and in Sunbury. It's harder to find a place to charge in the big cities because all the outlets in public places are locked or switched off.

Based on questions, we are trying to identify hotels with charging stations. Hilton Garden Inn Columbus Easton at 3600 Morse Rd, Columbus 43230 has one outdoors not far from the trail.

We have had no trouble charging at random restaurants, just by asking. We just eat there and relax. We remove our batteries carry in our charger which is an ordinary plug.

Speed is limited to 15 mph on the trails regardless of what you ride.

There isn't always an enforced speed limit, but reckless riding and failure to yield will get noticed.

"Roadies" trying to best their Strava are riding at 18 to 20mph on every trail i ride. I have never seen a park ranger with a radar gun. The whole 15 mph deal is a joke.
