I use a small ceramic heater, don’t use propane, it makes more moisture. I also use my heating pad and stay warm as toast. I put a Mylar mat under my bamboo mattress as well. Last thing you want under your mattress or anywhere is black mold! You will have respiratory issues. I use a usb fan and crack the windows and also have a couple of charcoal bags hanging up in the back. Walmart also has moisture trapper boxes, they work well too if you put them on your dash board.
I watched, so far, a couple of your videos👍. You are one "Smart cookie", complimentary. Enjoyed them immensely. You sound so professional. You are going to get what you want out of life with your self esteem and confidence. So so talented. Keep up your photography and channel. Take Happy, Happy travels!! 🍂🍁👌👍🤗🤓
Another wonderful video....I am a former English teacher, and one thing I always notice is how well spoken you are, poised and articulate....and that whole beginning was poetical and dreamy, as you matched your words describing the transition from Autumn into Winter....did you write that yourself? I camp occasionally out of my 4Runner and NOW I see the point of adding the tent to the back...thanks for articulating that! Your sunset footage was particularly gorgeous....all of your nature footage was....when I camp in the cold, I use a heating blanket for the first hour while plugged into my Jackery....then I turn it off since my blankets trap the heat in (I have an army blanket...boy do those do it for me). Blessings to you!
Yes, I like that! Being a nomad doesn't mean you have to run, run and run around some more and more. Taking time to enjoy the surroundings and doing the things that we get very little time to do, if ever is important! That's part of what the lifestyle is about and the more the merrier.
I use paper clips to hang my string lights in my van. Unfold them so they act as hooks and tuck one side into the plastic trim that buts up against the headliner. The paper clips are small and light enough to where they won’t damage or pull the plastic away
I am a 65 yr old want to be solo traveler. Your videos are inspiring( though youre much younger) I will be leaving florida on nov 30th to travel to the west. Im very nervous however its a very strong desire. Thank you for sharing your journey!
Just found your channel…yes, I subscribed. I appreciate your commentary; it’s beautifully descriptive, informative and well spoken. I hope you are able to follow whatever journey is best for you and I’ll happily follow along. Happy trails!
Beautiful Video. Maybe it is because I live here and have been in Provo canyon and the loop past Sundance. I recognized where you were immediately. Have wonderful adventures and safe travels.
Thank you for another informative and entertaining video. You have a fantastic setup. I am retired and have a homebase, but enjoy traveling and living out of vehicles when I get a chance. I have obligations that keep me stationary most of the year, but work on my list of things to go, see and doas much as possible. I was thinking about getting a Subaru, but as luck would have it the year's I was considering them were really bad years for the model I was interested in. Now I just don't need a Subaru or the Jeep. I am in the downsize and reducing stage of life. Backpacking, star gazing, fishing, cycling, kayaking, Stand Up Paddleboarding and canoeing are some of my favorite activities. You have some great tips on living out of your vehicle. I use plain old clay type cat litter as a moisturizer absorbent and recharge them by setting them out in the sun on sunny dry days. My first ones were just old tube shocks with the cat litter poured in and a overhand knot to close them up. Alas I used them for grip on an icy lot last winter and had to make new ones. I put the cat litter in some tamales bags this time, after they were laundered of course. I do suggest you get some activated charcoal air freshener bags as someone else suggested. I hope our paths cross somewhere out there on the road. Safe travels. Blessings. ❤😊
> Cat litter as a moisturizer absorbent (and when stuck....on Ice) > Charcoal - Air freshener bags. ( Charcoal Tablets will absorb poison) > Very very 'Burnt' Toast soaked in milk...per older Vet....saved my dog's life once. Charcoal capsules, for Food Poisoning. (Health food store) or just for Stomach problems. Running to a bathroom...every 20 min's could be a problem, camping in your car. Haha. *Summer of 1980...'Major Heat Wave'...while travelling from Michigan to Albuquerque, NM - I got food poisoning / Truck stop burger = Hospital -Des Moines, Iowa. (No, I didn't have charcoal) The pain was so great....I had to be carried into the Emergency Dept. at the Hospital! > Ginger capsules.....really helps with motion / 'sea sickness.'
I love your videos, esp seeing the snow, as we are getting our summer, so getting warmer, it’s lovely to see. Your commentary is just lovely how you describe everything. Keep warm, look forward to your next clip ❤😊
For your tangled lights, you could make a firefly jar out of them for some pretty light, along with getting another string of lights to put up in the car. I sure am enjoying all the places that you have been visiting and all the videos that you have been sharing with us.
Thank you for sharing with us a lot of ideas and information as always. I like the shelter, which could be a very good solution to my Jeep. It is a little nice privacy and cozy space...
Did you write the opening to this video describing the change of season? If so you are very gifted. It was just beautiful and really captured the feel of one season yielding to the next….lovely.
Love it...just found you. I'm in Australia, on the Sunshine Coast...so HI from all that way. Can't wait for the next one! A little jelly bout the hotsprings....so blessed!

But, under the Car Hood (when the engine gets hot, the smell might come in the car vents, and you don't really want to breathe that in.
I commend you for attmepting waffles. When I was homeless convenience was the focus. I would go with boil water and make oatmeal and Maple Serupe. I was lucking to have a work place that had a caffiteria so I did not have to eat in my car unless I wanted to.
What? My Bluetti is dead....? > Key words I used to figure out... just what your were talking about: > Not fully charged / didn't plug it in / alternator / drive and charge.

I'm sure you've got some amazing spots down under!
@nomad_unknown of course, I live in the hinterlands, so waterfalls and views are a plenty! We are both quite blessed to live the countries we do.

Someone suggested spraying with vinegar. I’m going to try that!
Keep on

Oatmeal is an easy go-to!
@@nomad_unknown Waffles makes a better video than hot water and oatmeal LOL
Dear God, be careful you’ve got to stay warm!😮
❤❤❤❤❤❤
You should get a portable solar panel to charge the bluetti
I have watched 3 videos in a row on your channel ❤ it. What is your first name? Are you willing to share your playlist of music, amazing!
Aren’t you nervous sleeping with the hatch open? Or is there a safety lock on the tent somewhere? Nice video.
I close the hatch behind me.
I know that waterfall
go to California palm spring it's hot now
😉
I know you have a good head of hair, but wearing a wooly hat in bed keeps a lot of warmth🌞🌞 in you.👌👌
Svalbard is in polar nights
Go with your dreams! What are you using for a camera to record these videos?
Have you considered a heated blanket that is made to plug into the car?
doesnt it get a bit lonely without someone with you.. i dont think i could do what you do without someone with me.
man i wish i was there to see all the places you go to.. if you dont mind me asking how old are you.
Sometimes I get lonely but I also meet people along the way and share chats. Also, making videos keeps me busy and engaged with this community.
@@nomad_unknowndid you ever consider getting a dog? They are great for protection, companionship, and can keep you warm on cold nights 😊
The road was...a little tutted 😂
At least there was no 'boards for a bridge' 🤔
More than once I have changed plans 🤥
❤❤❤🎉🎉

Haha yeah… context clues!
This is my last winter(hopefully) in my van. I should have $15k saved up to by a small rv I can tow with my suv.
Amazing! Well done!
What are your dreams that we're helping to come true?
Ugh, frost in the inside of the windshield is AWEFUL!
Hi Chistine, I am a first timer on your channel, nice video, how r u doing at this time girl, check your email, rgs
You need to breathe. You are way too stressed for a nomad. This lifestyle is supposed to relax you.
