I’m the same way. I took a month trip from Colorado To Jasper Canada. I like to know I have a destination but it does get expensive. I had a campground 10 minutes out side of Yosemite NP. 5 days for 124.00.

I love Silver Falls! Another cool waterfall a little further down stream is Shellburg Falls, it just recently reopened from the 2020 wildfires in the area. Oregon has so many unique and beautiful places to explore! The child-like wonderment while walking under those falls is real haha :)

Just my 2 cents; Subarus are excellent vehicles that are low maintenance as long as you keep scheduled servicing as instructed Subarus can definitely last well past 300-400k miles. Subarus are part of the Toyota family and Subarus/Toyota’s have an impeccable reputation of quality, durability & longevity. My strong opinion is to keep your Subaru and nix the idea of getting a van. Especially if costs & finances are a huge concern. Also bc Subarus are beast and can pretty much drive anywhere all 4 seasons and mpg is better, stealth camping is way better, more obscure, less financial burden, etc. I vote #teamsubaru🩷 Keep on keeping on, I love watching your videos, so cool & fun! I plan to do the same next year after my youngest graduates HS. 😉🙌🏼

My authentic self before knowing Jesus was selfish and I bought the lie of the devil saying live YOUR best life, live for YOUR dreams, you can't help others if you don't help YOURSELF...etc. you're beautiful sister. Jesus the face of GOD who knit you together in your mother's womb for a glorious purpose and you are not an accident you are not what the world says you are not buying into what the world says I can see in your eyes and heart that God is trying to show you the world is selfish and he wants better for you. I love you so much I went through very similar things almost died trying to follow the self love movement and after giving GOD glory he gave me purpose peace joy and true love in him resting in his grace mercy and compassion. He wants you to give him your problems and watch him work in your life. We don't have to do it ourselves we weren't created to do it ourselves. Praying for you. GOD is good and wants to show you he loves you. He is the true light and love that the world is trying to achieve in their own ways. I hope you pray about it and ask him to show himself to you in a way you can understand. ❤❤❤

Did you enhance your suspension in your car to accommodate the extra weight? I did not and ruined my tires, they wore out on the inside because the weight bugged down the suspension, which was not stiff enough.

Love you and praying for you! I would keep keys on me and if anything is suspicious get in the car lock up and leave stuff out. Make it known your in your safe place and ready to leave your stuff, if any real threat I would hit the safety alarm on keys. If they don't leave, stuff outside is easier to replace. I find that knowing I'm willing to just go, I'm less worried and it probably radiates. ❤❤❤

Great tips from your experience on the road. I also think rest stops are a good choice, you just have to use your gut feelings with them, as in any spot. I just started living out of my Xterra in Oregon a month ago and your videos have helped, thank you. Will be traveling to Idaho at the end of the month for some work and then who knows, but I kinda love the unknown. Happy travels!

Ah, yeah! Adventures of car camping up I-5! Love the Whidbey Island pullover! My backyard! I used to like to stop at the restaurant at Pollard Flat. (MP 712N) But they closed a number of years ago.... May have been due to a forest fire that went thru there... Take care out there!!

One thing I have to say… You have an expensive taste and you have also a very classy style for a nomad. Many van dwellers or car dwellers that I’ve seeing thus far, have a messy multiple colors tacky style but you are different and that is why I love your channel. The Eastern/South Sierras are awesome. Can't wait to get back. Boo boo was definitely not aggressive, just checking things out. Great handling of the encounter! Had one on trail where it was a little harder to convince it to leave.. lol! But the encounters are always pretty exciting. Well done. 🙌

I would have stopped him the moment he touched my luggage. Who cares if other campers can see you while you are recording. You are missing out recording yourself while you have a beautiful background for your audience to enjoy while they listen to you😊

Worry solves no problems. What worry is....a sustained type of fear...usually caused by indecision. Be informed and be prepared and practice good decision making...that is sound advice for any situation.
