- Hey guys with the release of Tear of the Kingdom I thought it would be interesting to create a few Zelda themed videos, beginning here with all references to Hyrule Kingdom in every single Mario game.

You forgot super Mario maker and super Mario maker 2 where they have link costumes in them

Something you forgot is the texture for the hard blocks (as they’re called in SMM2) in SMB1 underground levels is also used in dungeons in The Legend of Zelda 1 NES

Totally missed out on mentioning Link actually appearing in Super Mario RPG. If you mentioned all the Wario Ware games, which aren't even Mario games, could have also mentioned Super Mario RPG.

You mentioned the 8-bit Link and Fanfare in Super Mario 3D World, but didn't mention that the tune that plays _after_ that, is the overworld theme from The Legend of Zelda.

Now, I know we are just seeing the mainstream games... but since the Zelda references aren't THAT much, I would have covered the rest (like Link in at Rose Inn in SMRPG). Also, in SMO, Link was supposed to be a costume, but was scrapped, the SM3DW one you forgot to add that the main theme can be heard after you complete the Link puzzle or that the Ocean theme, in SMB3 is the Fairy Fountain theme.
Notice the Flute in Super Mario Bros 3 NES and The prologue screen to link riding the horse in Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time has the same sound but LOZ ocarina of time builds more to the chime to make it music.

in super mario odyssey there was a scrapped link costume.
If the Uncle Amiibo thing counts then Amiibo costumes in Mario Maker 1 count too, and on the topic of Mario Maker the second one has the Link power-up.
You forgot the part about mario 2 in america actually being a sprite swap of doki doki panic 😂
And the fact that NSMB2 is actually the third game in the series

Correct it’s in dodongos cavern in OOT
SM64 came out before OoT. We all thought the L referred to Luigi, but it was actually about Link. SM64’s “L is Real” was foreshadowing Link’s future appearance on the N64. This is definitely, totally, unarguably true.

I admire the pure huckster cynicism it took to get the "whistle" story right in this video, then release a video right after it where you pretend you don't know where that sound comes from, just for TH-cam "engagement" numbers. Completely shameless. I'm guessing it's because this video did such a poor job in terms of comments.
