Thanks a lot Sunrethy! "Legend" has a nice chime to it... maybe some day. These are not worth that title, just parts of older content that otherwise gets lost
Both, but with this specific lens I adapted. Everything you ever want to know about FD including adaption and modding is in the main episode this is taken from. Link is in the description.
@@MediaDivision thanks! Really appreciate it, as I am considering getting a 1.4L, the 24mm f2 looks great but I wanted to get the same rendering as the 1.4 aspherical that you compared to, but... 1.4 aspherical cost as much as a kidney at this moment 😅
The legend is back with the new video!

Another awesome video. I'm hoping to start work on my lens project video in the next few weeks.
I am busy posting videos on my vintage lenses and cameras. FD 50mm 1.8 video coming soon.
@@danienelphoto I'll look forward to seeing that.
Absolutely amazing videos👍👍👌👌😍
Thanks again!
Hi! best reviews about the FD lenses in youtube. Why you don't put the 24mm ssc 2.8 in this review?
Thanks..... because I can't have or review all FD lenses. I review those tah make sense in my context and that are accessible to us.
The color rendition between these lenses is very different! Which is more accurate to the scene?
If you refer to the 24mm Aspherical. That one is more true to the real colors… nothing that resolve can't fix in a single node
It’s really weird I can’t find many photos or videos from this lens
Well… you got this one!
hey the affiliate links are pointing to the 50mm instead.
Thanks for the input… my bad… updated!!
Have you changed the fd mount to fit your camera? Or did you use an adaptor? If so which one did you use? Thanks great video

Sorry, couldn't understand if you said the focus breathing is terrible or tolerable.
Tolerable
Thank you for this question
thank you for such great video, I wonder if you have any experience with the FD 24mm 1.4L vs the aspherical version?
Thanks… no I don’t but except them to be indistinguishable from the images side. To be fair… any other 24mm f1.4 would be ;-)

I have a 24mm Soligor 2.8 for FD. Also quite fun. Lovely video as always.
thanks man... glad you do
