The Malibu, and the GMC are the ones to get. I had to chuckle when you commented on children, "I'm over it, I'm over it." Funny how with age the novelty of kids has worn off, except for grandkids. Those you love to see, and give back to the parents. Hahaha. Keep the walk arounds coming, I really enjoy them. Oh, here in Arkansas as a kid we'd have salvaged the Olds, kick the windshield out, put on some sunglasses, wire the door shut, and drive it.

It'd be great to see either all of the parts moved to a "donor" car or to see it fixed (V Tuned could do it), but unfortunately it'd likely be a huge loss, so it probably won't happen.

Randy, strongly recommend the Yukon. Bought one at auction 18 months ago and no regrets. The 6.2 L engine is bulletproof even with so much mileage on it. My mechanic tells me to keep up the maintenance at it will keep you happy. He has the same engine in his 80’s Corvette with a supercharger and is currently in low 10’s. A bit more work and he’ll get below that. At $700 it’s a steal. Clean it up and double your money! Good luck and I’ll be watching to see what happens if you do get it.

Randy!!! That 82 Cutlass is not that bad of a fix!!! That's a "light rollover" so, a junkyard roof (with t-tops) including where the windshield pillar is welded to the firewall, fender, door and full, complete quarter panel, all drivers side. I wish I could get it. A non-442 cutlass with t-tops is ULTRA RARE. if done correctly, will bring $$ in another couple of years as more of them get "recycled".👍😎

Well Randy, i know this comment will get buried but, your theory is right. Because of the "Situation", less people are driving, and crashing, thus leading to less insurance claims, leading to less cars being taken to Copart. As the lockdown eases you should see the number of cars get back to normal.

One possible reason for the lower number of vehicles in the Copart lot is that there have been far fewer vehicles on the road, therefore fewer accidents.
I volunteer for a Rescur Organisation in Australia, part of our duties include attending vehicle accidents & freeing trapped occupants & since the "situation" we have had only one request for assistance for a vehicle accident. Far fewer than we normally do.

All good flip prospects this week besides the Cutlass. The Malibu and Denali basically just need a good clean. The Escalade needs a rear door and a very thorough clean, but I'd drive it - they're still good looking trucks with a lot of presence even now.
The Caravan is not my thing, but people are always on the lookout for mommy vans - I don't think this one would take much to put back together at all and make presentable transportation for a low-income / single-parent family.
The Cutlass just makes me sad. It was clearly someone's cherished classic, having survived 38 years in such great shape just to end up wrecked like that. As you say, hopefully the powertrain and interior trim can be used in someone else's restoration, but I'd have loved to have seen it before the crash.
