I just finished this game today with 72 hours as my final gametime and it was bittersweet. Not because of the game's story, but the fact that I started this franchise back in January with Yakuza 0 and completing this today means my year long venture in the franchise has been completed. I am now done with all 10 games, which is both joyous and depressing at the same time. Overall, there was a lot I loved about Lost Judgment, especially for its main story which sometimes gave me Ghost in the Shell vibes, but there were subtle areas I was not a fan. I actually hated the Robotics Club stuff with a passion. To me, that is hands down the worst side mission across all 10 games. I spent countless hours screaming at my TV over it and had to redo the matches over repeatedly, which got downright boring. Thankfully, the payoff for completing all of the school stories was well worth it because that last mission was so badass. While I was happy the tailing missions were cut down, I feel like the chase sequences were even more of a bore than they were previously. The snake style was easily my favorite of the fighting stances as it was quicky and fluid, just how I love my battles. The counter aspects made me think of Tanimura in Yakuza 4 and that was a good thing since I loved his fighting style. I'd sad he never returned after that game, but given he would be almost the same character as Yagami, it's a good trade-off.

After that keep upgrading the sp boost until it's max. And then just farm as i says and you will easily gain 50k sp

@@jdbruiser At the risk of seeming petty, kinda wish you gave some of that leniency to the Allies. Especially when your criticism can come off as pretty unfair to begin with.
@@CyclonSilver I'm not "criticizing" I'm pointing out that they seem to score many Japenese games 8.0 or higher. Sure I wish they were a bit less predictable but it's their opinions and ahem "judgment" and that's perfectly fine I'm just asserting my kneejerk saltiness.
@@jdbruiser Ok, but... then you were just being passive aggressive. Not that it's that big a deal either way; you were just saying, well so was I.
I'd be more inclined to agree that there's a problem if they underrated other types of games, but honestly, I watch all of their reviews and I genuinely don't think they do. If you check the consensus on japanese games, their scoring is usually spot on as well. Japanese games... do tend to be at least good. Probably in part because they have crazy work ethics over there.
This review says its better than the first game but somehow it gets the same score as the first one?
Reviews are not only about scores. Duh.
its about the score when he said lost judgment is better, duh
@@Zeddddy So we dont need read or see more reviews, confirmed! Its just a number guys! SPREAD THE WORD.
hyped!
Sadly I won't be able to pick this up anytime in the near future. Probably for years if ever~ Not including stadia and/or pc is a huge mistake business wise. Regardless of what him/ his talent agency thinks.
gameplay improvement: less tailing missions?
that's not an improvement, that just means there is less of the shit from before but its still shit regardless
It feels as if the reviewer didn`t play the original or any of the yakuza games for more than an hour. And then people complain about IGN and mainstream gaming sites.
What makes you say this? He finished the first Judgment game (Look up spoiler mode Judgment) as well as Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1, and Kiwami 2.
Be careful guys when your are checking review. I ve got spoil about the daft punk killer s identity
Who is it?
@@poketcircuitfighter8288 spoiler...
Akihiro Ehara
@@foufoustv2060 really? I guess they went the so obvious you don't expect it route, cause it's clear from the start he's involved but I was expecting that he paid someone to do it or something
@@poketcircuitfighter8288 yeah the twist are actually about the women he 'harassed"in the subway.
@@foufoustv2060 damn, what review did you read or watched that spoiled so much?
I can't get excited for this because this whole yakuza franchise has been milked to death, it's just more recycled content for a AAA price
a lot of 8's lately...
Not complaining, though.. :)
the worst of anything yakuza related, even shenmue 3 is better
WILD TAKE
@@acidfruitloops ok maybe tied with yakuza 5 or 4, i remember 1 of them really sucked with the bear hunting n taxi driving or orphanage daycare baysitting crap
@@THaB4DGuY I've played all of shenmue and wanted to throw 3 out the window. That said, I haven't touched much of the yakuza series, where should I start? They have a handful on ps+ ps5
@@acidfruitloops i loved shenmue, beat 1 and 2 on dreamcast when they were new and again part 2 on the 1st xbox and again on xbox 1 remastered, i also bought shenmue 3 TWICE on ps4, got disc on sale and digital deluxe with season pass for like 10 bux and needed season pass, with that said, i never got out of the 1st village lmao its on my backlog somewhere 100 games down but 1 day
@@acidfruitloops just about every yakuza game is on xbox game pass, dont know bout ps+ i only have basic but i own them all on both systems, start from kiwami 1 or 0 i guess, i played them out of order i think, just rebeat kiwami last week actualy so i could delete it off my playstation hard drive so i beat it on xbox and playstation and still is fun and looks good, you can even start on yakuza like a dragon which is basically part 6 since its a whole new character and rpg gameplay instead of judgement street fighting, but i guess there are parts like old characters making an appearance that would be more impactful if you remembered them from old games, but personally i skip a lot of cutscenes, but like a dragon i watched most cus it was pretty funny
