Great review, glad to see the singleplayer has a lot of content and runs at 60 fps

Certainly looks like the best instalment in the series, I was not expecting to see another one and so much filled with levels and features

Oh man I don't get motion sickness but watching that map move like that so much did a number on my brain.

There is motion controls in the game if you look in the control menu settings.

Great review. Loving this so far and I'm so happy they've 'almost' got the controls back on form. Shame about the 30fps in multiplayer though - that's been a nonstarter for me

I loved monkey ball on the GameCube. For some reason though I tried to/thought you had to, get every bloody banana. The frustration wore me down

Is the movement snappy like SMB 1 & 2 on the GC. Or does movement feel the same as Banana Mania?
If it's the same as Banana Mania, that could be okay, as these are new levels. I didn't like the way it felt in Banana Mania because the less responsive movement ruined some of the old level design.

I have both BM and SMB1/2. I would say after playing this game here, its more closely like the original SMB1/2 Its not a near exact copy. But we're headed in the right direction!

@PiePiePie07 yeah I bought it and played it. I'd agree

Would you say it's a good jump in point for someone who's never tried the franchise?

We bought the banana blitz and it was so awful, so don't get it confused with this one.

Looks like this is the same underwhelming Super Monkey Ball from the 3DS era.
Where is Scott The Woz where you need him? He will likely shred into this game if he made a review today!

@@callinater6133 Ah, no. This is exactly the type of crap Sega has been putting out for years. Go watch the reviews of Monkey Ball 3D. Ignorant.

@@callinater6133yeah don’t know what that guy is on, I’ve now played the game for 2 days and this is the best new monkey ball since 2 imho. Beating the decent Banana Splitz.
He’s not wrong that 3D is the worst entry, but this game is absolutely nothing close to the garbage of 3D

@@TheNcredibleMrE yeah. 3D looked incredibly bad.
