Cetaphil cleanser works good as long as you don't have a damage skin barrier. However when you are going through a broken barrier/ allergies, one might want to watch out for the ingredients it has like parabens , sulfate NOK as they are potentially going to irritate the skin more..
Parabens and sulphates aren't gonna irritate the skin. There is a rumor going around that parabens are bad... They are not bad and in fact they are safer than other preservatives since a lot of tests are conducted on it because of the controversy. The myths around parabens are debunked. So people with damaged skin barrier can still use a cleanser with parabens and it won't irritate the skin. A lot of people are aware that parabens aren't bad.... 😅

I feel that bioderma atoderm creme is a bit tacky compare to cetaphil DAM. although I like both. In winter I prefer bioderma one considering the price point and the amount I use.😊

Hey I'm 22 years old and am going through skin problems like small bumps on my forehead and mild acne breakouts on my chin area. I also have white heads and black heads. I haven't used any active ingredient till date and now I'm thinking of using salicylic acid products. I wanted to know which will be better for me as a beginner- 1. using derma co. Or minimalist 1% salicylic acid facewash. Or 2. Using normal mild facewash like (simple/ aqualogica/cetaphil) and introducing my skin to 2% salicylic acid serum from derma co. Or minimalist. . Please let me know which one will be better. Also my skin will be newly introduced to both the brands. I haven't used any of derma co's or minimalist's products so it'll be helpful if you'll let me know which brand will be better for a beginner based on your experience
I suggest you to go with derma co I used it like i started with derma co salicylic acid gel face wash and 2% salicylic acid serum and then salicylic acid moisturizer for three months in three months my small bumps and pimples are gone then I used niacinamide serum of derma co and it is so awesome niacinamide helped me with dark spots caused by pimples or bumps and glowing skin I also used minimalist products like salicylic acid toner and salicylic acid face wash but it is not helpful and literally gave me alot of breakouts at first I thought if I will continue it it will be good but it made my acne worse and my skin barrier is just.... Ohh God after that I used derma co and I'm really happy with it Note:- sorry for this much long lacture 5:17
