- This is the second instalment to the DIY A/C top up. I need this A/C to work. It’s getting to hot!! Even in England😂. All the components seem to work, so I’m going for a top up!!.

Thanks, very useful and informative video. I have just bought a kit and need to research the aircon output temps as well as test gas level, kind regards..
Researching and understanding how air con works is a must. I don’t seem to have any leaks and the fact that it hadn’t been topped up in 9 years, made me conclude it was a natural drop in pressure. I think the kits that have a temp dial on them are better, but I couldn’t get one that was cost affective. Let me know how you get on.👍
My local garage topped mine up in 2020 for £70 and I got about a handful of uses from it, before it leaked away. Granted my car is 23 years of age, but yeah.... not exactly got my money's worth from that one.
This kit cost me 74 quid, I can get 2-3 uses from it. You’ve probably got a leak somewhere. Mine hadn’t been done since new. Don’t think it’s great on mpg though, now I’m using it.🙄
@@drivewaydiyer6504 Yeah the pipes leading from the condensor have corrosion on them, which is right next to the windscreen washer tank, and despite using a funnel I occasionally spill some. Might have already been corroding before I got the car though (got it in late 2016). I hope you MPG improves; I just had a new exhaust middle and back done, so hoping for better MPG too.
Wheres the low port for vauxhall corsa d is it the same place under air intake box... thanks
Not sure on them, probably. Follow the pipe work round. Should be fairly accessible.
Any tips on products to avoid and stupid rookie errors to be mindful of?
The ac pro seems to be the one that everyone swears by, make sure you switch of the engine when coupling and uncoupling. Wear gloves and eye protection, aswell.👍

Don’t know what you
Mean! 😉
On your first video it showed a fault, what was the fault you fixed?
No pressure, it worked for a month after top up and now it’s stopped again 🥵. There’s a leak somewhere.😩
Sorry to hear, thanks for the info@@drivewaydiyer6504
