Using the dragon heart items gives you a secondary buff while you're already in dragon form. Also the dragon spirit summon is actually pretty powerful
Ds2 wasn't much of a form, it was more like armor

I agree, Dragons are suppose to be (and our) 1 of the strongest in the game but we look like we haven't eaten in days lol. DS2 atleast looked like an awesome dragon knight and even DS1 as goofy as it looks actually looks strong instead of looking like we are wasting away.
That "form" is literally just armor you equip after you "transform". Bring back Ds1 era dragon form.

If you don’t talk to her before beating the dragon you can’t replenish that damage negation buff. It’s a one time use and yku have to go back to her to get another one for free infinite times

omg im a full dragon breath build user and was so frustrated that i only got the prissiest hearth that only buff lighting spell.. and was wishing if only there a transform that will buff dragon communication skill.
just realised there is one existed after all! you made my day.
In fact, there is a version of that heart that improves what you require. It's called "heart of stone" or something like that, and it does improve communion enchantments.

@@MaCAttaK There's a dragon painting that you need to inspect in the Shadow keep. There's a ladder next to a lot of water, where if you take the ladder down, there's a hidden entrance behind a waterfall. When you find the room with the painting, inspect it, and then attack the wall to the right of the painting. It will reveal a pathway to a dungeon, and getting through that dungeon will take you to the hidden Abyssal forest. The Abyssal Forest has nothing to do with the Stone Heart, but it's easy to miss while you are going for it. After you find the Dragon Painting in the Shadow Keep, go to the jagged peak mountainside Grace in the Jagged Peak Mountain area. If you explore the area well, you should come across a phantom chair in which a phantom painter appears, who then drops the Stone Heart. You could also look up a TH-cam video on the exact locations, but it is not hard to find, at all, since the Jagged Peak is pretty linear.

Ty for this. When you grab the painting in shadow keep, to the right is an illusionary wall that leads to a coffin to take you to scadu altus and a grace point when you get there.

There's also a new armor set that increases dragon incants, death knight armor.

For anyone having trouble with Bayle, try using Death’s Poker ghostflame skill and see how much frost damage you do
Its a fun weapon all around. Its great for PVP too.

For anyone struggling with bale, the blood katana with hound step, and swarm of flies does insane damage
I fought Bayle and the only thing that I got out of this is the fact that Igon was so pissed at Bayle his summon never dies until Bayle dies. Man is dedicated

Can you put her to sleep with the concoction to get the red lightning buff AND get the Bayle spells from his heart?
The Dragon Form in DS1 is still the best.
The muscles, the melee attacks, i think you straight up snap the neck of whatever you riposte when you have the hornet ring on.
I still haven't got the incantation "dragonbolt of florissax" but the things you can make with it...
You can't use golden vow and the dragonbolt because they're both "aura buffs".
When I met Igon I was like "oh man..he sure is going through it jeez"

Miyazaki made the maps the way he did for a reason. He made it difficult to get to each area beachside if he didn’t everyone would just discover the whole map in 30 minutes
you see, I came here for the dragon forms, BUT when I saw magma blade I did the following: farmed two of them, went to the queen and got rebirth and switched my build from sorcery to strength, changed everything I had on. It's been 8 hours since I started farming all the materials, and till now I haven't finished this video. LOL

I looked it up aperently Moores quest line makes him move till late game were you see him again or something else can happen
So you can miss the option to do it if you're too mid late game but not late game

Got both and when I got the painting one after about 60 seconds my character gave a death sound and animation (white sparkle mist that appears when you die). weird bug. speaking of bugs, may be a specific weapon or item but some items on the pouch slot make it bug out, and i tried equiping an item by replacing one i had and it made every weapon turn into that one item but the moves were the ones from the weapon i swapped out and it made my game load super slow. closing and reopening fixed
All I see with ancient dragon men are Kobolds, and find it funny to make my character turn into that form and call’em a Kobold.
Or is it possible to get it because I want the alternate ending to the quest

It might be an effect of the priestess heart, as it buffs dragon communion spells
Going to the shadow keep before getting the black syrup from Moore will lock you out of being able to get the spirit summon !

I swear that the rock heart is ds1's dragon form, priestess's heart is ds2's dragon form and lamenters mask is ds3's dragon form so we got all 3

Honestly I was really hoping for a bad ass dragon or ancient dragon armor set for Elden ring. And then they give us these two different forms but they look like humanoid dragon husks. A little disappointing if you ask me.

It's one of the coolest concepts imo, I do wish we got a really cool form, but the point is we don't. Blah blah lore blah blah lessons about the fact that no transformation we ever achieve will ever be perfect. Same reason as to why Florissax is a husk - she was a dragon imperfectly transformed to a human. I like lore so I think still it's cool yknow
@@robertaguilar7628 I’ve seen it doesn’t mean it has to look similar. Elden ring may be souls like but doesn’t have to be the same artistically with everything. The ancient dragons alone look better than most dragons in all of dark souls

And I’m not lying to myself I’m just saying I would like a form or armor set that looked cooler for the dragons. And I feel like they could have done better with the look. Or maybe better isn’t the word, just different. They did what they wanted to do and they did it well for the style they wanted. It’s just not my thing.
I will never understand the moronic fetish that Miyazaki has of putting quests with developments so obtuse that you could only decipher it with a guide. which I am 100% sure are them sending them to editors to publish them. Rather than giving mysticism to a quest, it makes it tedious and forgettable.

But why for the love of all outet gods did they start putting gold summon signs for quests inside the boss arena? Why not infront like all others and why bosses that imediatly damage you from across the map? And and why is it automaticly on no? Cant even drive by to summon him
I believe it's because Igon can't walk, so to keep with cannon you gotta spawn him in the arena for him to be a stationary summon

It’s a lot of bosses that have the summon in the arena, and they couple that with boss moves that have them lunge straight across the arena at you as soon as you walk in. Shit is crazy.

The dragonbolt of florissax is liturally the same as the dragon item you get from her just one is a incantation the other as a item
And I would argue that the transformation is better for dmg but the incantation is better for defense, since you can still wear heavy armor while using it, whereas the transformation counts as armor. They’re both cool but I’m personally going to go for the transformation this time around.

Sooo I went to the shadow keep before talking to them. When I tried to back track I talked to thiollier before Moore and then they both moved. How can I still get the concoction to use on the dragon priestess?
So from what I understand, going to shadow keep ends up locking you out of several NPC quest lines if they weren't done prior to going there, so I don't think you will be able to get the item from him. However, I do have my own theory of an alternative method. In the base game there is a secret item you can get from seluvis called the Amber Draught. You get this item to be used to try and get Ranni as a puppet summon (however she will never drink it and kill you if you try to use it on her) so now I'm wondering if this can be used on the dragon priestess instead. I haven't gotten far enough into the dlc to try it yet though

Ok so I killed bayle then collected the armor then went to the priestess but wen I got there she was gone. I did however interact with the ghost by accident did not pick up the item tho so wat did i do wrong
I gave up on beating him, spent 6 hours trying to beat him, I'm just gonna wait till I beat the dlc
Use mimic tear with a bunch of uplifting aromatics, scarlet Aeonia, pest threads, and erstere heal with no other spells. Then talismans I use the +3 shields for physical, lightning, and fire dmg w flocks canvas talisman. Weapon with bloodhounds step to switch to on my character, not on the mimic, and both me and the mimic have a flamesrt no skill fingerprint stone shield. Summon igon and that’s how I beat bayle on ng+11
You can do it bro he has big openings he is very agresive but have huge dps fases, took me around 10 tres when i started paying atention to his move set
Use Rotten Breath for his first and second phases. It will help a ton, trust me.
Keep at it I tried maybe 50 times with a storm build with the lions head and talisman, I eventually succumbed and used rot breath and my old faithful grafted greatsword for big bong damage and did it first try after that 😂
Damn it, my Moore became hostile because I killed a prawn enemy and I had no choice but to kill him.
So how many times do you have to NG to get all incants and forms

But all check this out you can stack the Dragon bolt blessing with other incatantion but is you use the Dragon bolt of Flouissx you cant beacuse its a incantaion not an item

You can go either the Cosby questline or the normal way. I will go with Cosby to get the summon for a future playthrough. I enslaved the Dung Eater, may as well nab myself dragon wife.

I’m finishing my ng+2 run before I buy the DLC. But Dragon form is why I am buying. Holyshit this is cool. Never imagined we’d get shapeshifts, let alone a sickass dragon one. I hope modders take a note from this and consider making an assortment of shapeshifts. I think many creatures would make great shapeshifts. Especially for RP builds.
