the first time I heard this song and watched this video was on a local Romanian music tv channel, late at night, when I was maybe 12 or 13. I made the mistake to not look at the name of the artist or song name that showed on the band at the end because I was just absolutely enthralled. I only remembered a blonde woman in a tv set and that amazing horn in the background and the sublime voice. I didn't have a computer or access to the internet at that time, so no way of finding out what the song was. About 7 years later I got into trip hop, and I was just looking for new music to listen to. And then suddenly, I heard it. The horn in the beginning. And I froze thinking 'that's the one'. I was crying by the end of it. This song was the most emotional reencounter I ever had with a band/song.
Times are forever changing. This was a true golden era and I am so furtunate to have grown up during this. Thank you Hooverphonic for all the magic moments!

This is such a beautiful song. I think the videography is very well done too. If you watch it closely and sort of analyze it, it has some really nice touches. The overall yellow/gold tone with everything except the TV screen which is more of a bluish hue is great, and the dark/melancholic mood of everything happening in the video. Lot's of things in the lighting are very nicely done. Also the series of TV screens and "reaching through" was pretty cool. I'll bet the videographers and editors had fun making this video. It's very well done and fits the song's mood perfectly. The muted color schemes and contrasts really make it pop as does the general theme.

My late stepmother was a huge horror movie fan- like, she had a wall from the floor of all sorts of different horror movie DVDs. We may have gotten on each other’s nerves all the time but God, I never realized how much I’d miss going to my dad’s house and seeing her on the couch, getting to kiss and hug her. In 2020, a couple days after her birthday, she overdosed, went into a coma, and passed. The last horror movie we watched together was IKWYDLS 2 and I still remember everything about it despite seeing it once. Easily one of the best songs ive heard in my life
This is such a beautiful song. I think the videography is very well done too. If you watch it closely and sort of analyze it, it has some really nice touches. The overall yellow/gold tone with everything except the TV screen which is more of a bluish hue is great, and the dark/melancholic mood of everything happening in the video. Lot's of things in the lighting are very nicely done. Also the series of TV screens and "reaching through" was pretty cool. I'll bet the videographers and editors had fun making this video. It's very well done and fits the song's mood perfectly. The muted color schemes and contrasts really make it pop as does the general theme.

Always loved Sarah Brightmans version of this. I thought it was her song unitl I was watching her dvd and she gave Hooverphonics credit for the song. I youtubed it and have been a fan of theirs ever since. I have downloaded all their music and cannot wait until the new album comes out in November. their music is awesome old or new. I just wish I could find live dvds of them in concert.

Wow - I don't know if I love this version, or Sarah Brightman's version! So beautiful!!
My late stepmother was a huge horror movie fan- like, she had a wall from the floor of all sorts of different horror movie DVDs. We may have gotten on each other’s nerves all the time but God, I never realized how much I’d miss going to my dad’s house and seeing her on the couch, getting to kiss and hug her. In 2020, a couple days after her birthday, she overdosed, went into a coma, and passed. The last horror movie we watched together was IKWYDLS 2 and I still remember everything about it despite seeing it once. This song that plays in the beginning of the movie reminds me of her every time I listen to it. I love her so much.

I know the song because I've loved Sarah Brightman since I was 12 so one day I searched it up and this one showed and I decided to listen to it. I'm surprised at how great yet different this version is from Sarah's. Two great singers singing an amazing song.
