You have good content… it’s obvious you put time into your videos and you have a solid base of authoritative knowledge. I think this video could get more views if you mention UTI in the title so lay people start clicking, liking and subscribing. Wishing you all the success! PS I am not a TH-camr I just enjoy your content and want to see your channel grow. ❤

And also lower the volume of your background music so your voice is heard. Information is good, presentation not so good. Keep it up.

I have taken my daughter many times to urgent care and ER. They always say they did a culture test but they really dont. Because when she finally went to a Urologist and they requested her files there was no test down and nothing sent to the lab. So now shes always in pain because they just say its a UTI but meds dont work. They put her on birth control and that didnt work either.

Unfortunately- this scenario is quite common

Just went to doctor with possible UTI l, no burning, just urgency. Urinalysis showed no nitrates but showed leukocytes. They prescribed me macrobid, I am not taking it until the culture returns. Until then I am drinking alot of water and plain cranberry juice.

Thank you so much for this! Do you have a video or any information on why trace blood keeps showing up on a dipstick, but not on a microscopic urinalysis?

So I went in to urgent care for frequent urination. They told me I had a uti, they called me a couple of days later and said there’s no bacteria and to stop taking the meds. No further instructions or anything. Now I’m back to frequent urination but also went online to actually view what they put in for results. The only thing I see in the results is abnormal nitrates. What could this mean? Is it possible to have a uti without bacteria and why wouldn’t they have prescribed something else?

First of all this is exactly what’s been going on with me lately- I have had severe bladder pain, frequent urination and blood in urine. This has happened twice in the past two months. I go to urgent care. Urinalysis shows supposedly a UTI, antibiotics given and sent out for culture. Then a few days later I’m informed I can stop antibiotics as culture didn’t show infection.
So my question is, what is the cause then? Can IC cause all the severe pain and bleeding? Thank you! I can’t and won’t keep taking these antibiotics

I see a urologist and pcp for utis. They usually have me give a urine sample and at times a clean cathater draw. I hate taking so many antibiotics, but I take them out of desperation. I have never received a call informing me whether or not I had a uti. are they supposed to give me the results? I started taking d-mannose a few weeks ago after reading many favorable reviews. Even if it's just the placebo effect, whatever works.

You may have to ask for the result - I would.
